Exitium wasn't an approachable guy. Talk to him, and he could half decide to kill you straight away. So for him to take part in a competition, with allies, was a dangerous idea. There was one upside to Exitium that allowed his team-mates to live through the annual festival, and that was because Exitium was massively competitive. He hated losing, with a passion unlike any other, and knew that to win he'd have to 'work as a team'. Whilst his team rarely won, up against those like Mo and Tenshi hardly anyone else ever got the chance, it was the one month of the year when Exitium wasn't trying to kill everything. He was allowed to hurt others, so long as he didn't go too far, and he'd yet to be banned from the festival which was a good start. The Demon stood in the centre of Baransu, in the square where things were kicking off. The teams were only just announced, and as always Exitium gave a cold eye to every team-mate. Akvan, the Demon to be used by Exitium's beloved Itami, and the Demoness' toy, Chester. And another one, a tiny Angel girl that Exitium couldn't look at with giving off a judgemental laugh. Once teams had spread out, and magic balls of paint were collected, Exitium stood before his three team-mates. "I will say this once. We play this stupid game to win, by any means necessary. I do not compete for fun, so do not expect me to play nice, or back you up if your strength lacks. For instance, if some silly little Angel happens to get stuck against another team, don't expect me to help like some pompous knight running to a damsel in distress." Exitium stated, glaring eyes looking down at the small Angel. "Are we clear?" Tag: Shinda Chester Ari Shirudo

Ari wasn't happy... As much as she loved competitions, especially ones that allowed her to prove she wasn't weak, she wasn't one to work well in a team. And it didn't help that she knew no one... The only plus side to this was that Takeo was in another team, and would mean she had an excuse to pelt him with red paint, a lovely contrast compared to his hair. Looking around her group, two Demons, one in which she already disliked and the other seemingly weak compared to what he was god over, and a human... One that Ari couldn't make judgement over just yet, but knowing it was bound to be bad anyways in the end. Glaring towards the disliked Demon, Ari just scowled at him and proceeded to throw one of the magic balls of pain right at his head, at incredible speed.. She hoped it hit and hurt the guy. "Like hell im letting another team hit me with paint ass. I can take care of myself thanks... So don't think im helping any of you losers if ya get picked on, am I making myself clear?" Ari moved from glaring at the disliked Demon to the other two... "As much as I hate to agree with this guy... You better not make us lose... And if you happen to see a guy with green hair, let me know... Im taking him down."

Akvan usually didn't take part in the festivals, he was no where near comfortable enough to be around so many others. Normally he was allowed to stay up in Dranar, take a break and laugh as Gensho returned to complain about the way his clothes would get so ruined by the paint and snow. But this year, Akvan wanted to try his best to improve himself, to change. And his reason for doing so, just so happened to be on the same team as him. Akvan couldn't help but grin as he met up with Chester, thinking that the pair could hang out for an entire month, hopefully with no abuse being thrown at the God to break up their time together. This could be fun, and it would have made Akvan glad to have signed up if the red team's unofficial leader wasn't announced. Exitium, Demon God of destruction and bully to all other Demons, especially the Gods like Akvan. He feared Exitium, but most people did, since the small yet powerful and manipulative Demon was easy to fear. Akvan kept his eyes low, only lifting them to smile slightly as their young Angel team-mat decided to stand up to Exitium. She was obviously mad, or simply respected herself too much to be Exitium's underling, but it entertained Akvan to watch. Until the girl also addressed him and Chester, considering them to be weak liabilities. "W-we won't lose, with a leader like Exitium, and you, miss. You look pretty tough," Akvan tried smiling, "I'm sure with an Angel like you on our team we'll definitely win. T-this might be my first year of the festival, but I'll try my best. And likewise, if you happen to see a fancy looking Demon, or equally a tall Demon with an eye-patch, I'd like to enact a little revenge on them first."

Chester never minded taking part in these festivities, loving to meet new people and have an excuse to pelt people with paint. Though it was a nice change knowing someone on her team for a change... And it was especially nice, knowing it was Akvan, I mean all of the people she could get, Akvan was the first on her list. She didn't know the other two, but she could tell when the other Demon spoke, their apparent leader, that she would not get on well with him. The thought that he and Itami may know each other crossed her mind, but it was quickly forgotten when the Angel stood up to him, causing her to chuckle. She didn't care that the two of them basically threatened her and Akvan, Chester was more excited about getting to hang out with Akvan for the month... That, and Ru made an excuse not to come to the festivities with the other Outlaws, and she knew that could only mean one thing, and how pleased she was about that fact. "I have good aim as a hunter. So I promise not to miss, besides, this year it looks as if I have a amazing team, compared to the others I had in the past... And, I kind of want to win this year too... Im Chester by the way, may as well get formalities over and done with so we can get hunting, and I have a pretty good idea where at least one of the Jiko's would be hiding out." Chester briefly wondered if her assumption about her brother was correct, and wondered who the other would be... But regardless, she knew the best hiding spot for them would be in the Rycora forest... The thick trees and caves giving off tremendous cover.

Exitium dodged the ball of paint without even thinking, raising a brow to the small Angel that clearly didn't know who she was talking back to. Exitium loomed over the small girl, face neutral yet hiding his boiling anger. "I'm sorry, did you mean to hit me with that pathetic throw? If that's what I'm left with, looks like this entire competition will be carried by me." The Demon didn't hesitate to poke the little Angel in the forehead, pushing his point forwards. "And I don't want to help any other than myself, I merely wan to make sure you all know the consequences of losing." Exitium stated, giving the small Angel as much attention as he thought she deserved, eyeing the others. Akvan didn't seem like a promising asset, but Exitium knew he couldn't just get rid of the Demon. He was Itami's possession, and Exitium would be in for a world of grief if he killed their tool too soon. Chester was a name the God knew, again from his Demoness, and Exitium almost smiled to her. Out of all of them, she at least had a suggestion on where to look for the best loot. Whilst Exitium didn't like being instructed, he did approve of the straight-to-it attitude, for now. Exitium cleared his throat, "Very well, Chester, you shall be navigator for us, as the only Human, it should make sense that you can tour us around Sohul. However, should the situation come that we must fly, I don't give lifts." The Demon almost grinned, before glancing to Akvan and the Angel. "You too, whilst I personally enjoy the taste of revenge, it is only better with bloodshed, do not let your specific choices of victims get in the way. If you lose because you're too distracted, I may 'accidentally' decide to change sides. Clear, Akvan? Annoying speck?"

Ari glared at the Demon, now she really hated him... Thinking he was all high and mighty, and that she was nothing but a small child... She was far greater than just that, and by the end of this competition she was damn well sure making sure he knew it. Ari moved her head a little when the Demon poked her head, moving herself so that she could bite the others hand. "Like hell im going to lose. And you can be damn well sure that, that wasn't even me trying." Ari pushed the other away, clearly showing her anger at him... When these festivities are over, she was so going to hunt out this Demon to kill... But for now she would keep attempting to hit the other with paint bombs and mediocre violence that does little damage... Unfortunately. Turning towards the human, Ari gave a small smile, maybe, just maybe she could bare her... Especially with the thought of having a plan already. "Ari, and im glad, lets get going... That Demon next to you will have to give ya lifts... I ain't helping you in such a way." Ari bared her teeth at the Demon, god she really did hate him to her very core. "Like hell... Said one im after will be a tough enemy, and I know the way around them, and once more... I HAVE NO INTENTION OF LOSING, IF ANYTHING IT'LL BE YOU WHO MAKES US... SWITCHING TEAMS... I SWEAR... Oh, and if you also see a young Demon, a couple years older than me... Well, he's mine to destroy, and not with paint either..."

Note: Early close for this one, since I want to get Red Team moving into battle Feel free to end with next reply.
Honestly this team seemed ready for disaster. If it wasn't for Chester being there, then Akvan would have probably ran away by now to hide out somewhere. Exitium looked ready to hunt, and kill, by the glow in his eyes. And what was worse was that the Demon's anger was expressed towards the three team-mates he had. There was a reason why Exitium wasn't seen much, it was because he was incompatible with others. He hated opinions, and only let those lived who survived by kissing his feet 24/7. Akvan feared him, like he feared most people. And Exitium knew it too, he could always smell fear, to his evil nose it was the worlds greatest scent. Akvan shivered, nodding obediently. He'd still look out for his brothers in the battle, and favouritise them, but only when Exitium wasn't around to punished his team for it. Akvan smiled to Chester, giving her a friendly glance. He shouldn't be the only one glad to have Chester on the team. She was a good tracker, no matter how far away the target was. And Akvan hadn't seen her use her bow, but he remembered when she'd used it to bring down three large spiders in Rycora once. Something that impressive was sure to come in handy in this warfare. Akvan glanced to Exitium as the Demon God seemed ready to move, and before he went to go, Akvan thought of something. An idea, the young Demon God had thought of that required the God of Destruction specifically. "Oh, E-E-Exitium! There's... well, I thought of an idea you might l-like, p-p-possibly." Akvan called over to their leader, hoping to get on Exitium's good side, if that even existed.

As much as Chester liked her team, one they sounded as if they would do anything to win, two she had Akvan... There really was no better way to spend the month in her opinion. Quietly chuckling at the expense of the two she didn't know, Chester took a quick glance at Akvan smiling back towards him, with the looks of things, they wouldn't be able to have a proper chat for the first few days. If the rest of the team were so eager to get going, then they wouldn't exactly have time. "Honestly, ide rather Akvan gave me the lifts..." It was true, from the looks of things, the other Demon wasn't to be trusted, and the Angel... She was a mystery for now, though she seemed strong willed and both too over-confident. Chester could see why everyone had their own people to hunt down, she herself was going after Ru, even if she couldn't tell anyone... And landing a good hit on Itami wouldn't be too bad either. "How about we get going, head down to Rycora, work out tactics on the way? And we work out what's going to happen if we happen to come across these certain victims, as it sounds like it'll be a one on one match..." Taking a glance around the rest of the group, Chester smiled when Akvan spoke up... If he had a plan he was willing to share then it had to be good...
[End]
Note: Wasn't actually sure what to end it on, but this was better than nothing.
