Chester was beaming, she had somehow managed to convince Itami to give her a few days off the meetings and was quick to travel to Sora before the witch could change her mind. There was only one hope she had for traveling here, and that was to see Akvan once more, it had felt like far too long since she first met him, and was itching to see her beloved friend. It was difficult to deal with, the distance, especially with one she had come to care about, and linking that with a brother who keeps deciding to disappear for days on end... She wonders why, not... And the distance was making her slightly upset. Chester hoped he would be around... She had travelled to the designated hospital for this very reason, though she was sure to keep somewhat out of sight, it would be strange to see someone look to the roof tops in a hope to see the very same Demon who made many of the hospitals patients sick. But she stuck around, in the hope to see that very Demon. They had much to talk about... Especially concerning the conversations she had with a certain God of Night. Resting against one of the hospitals outside walls, in distance to watch the hustle and bustle of life outside, but far enough away to stay hidden, all she could do was wait and hope for the God of diseases to make his appearance, otherwise this trip would be all for nothing.

Akvan for once, braved facing the front of the hospital. He stared inside, through the front doors as sick people entered and healthy people left, most too occupied to notice the strange boy looking around at them. He wore a hood, some new fancy cloak Gensho got for him, to use when he felt really insecure in public. Whilst the fabric was a little high class and unnecessary, Akvan enjoyed the comfort of a hood. Although, he was as usual naturally upset tonight. He'd noticed it, probably everyone in Sora had notice it. Faminia, a new disease that affected children and stopped their bodies from receiving any benefits from food. Many sickly thin children passed through the hospital, and ever night fewer and fewer came out again. Akvan sighed, looking at the poor children knowing what horrors he'd thought of to cause them to be in this state. He almost turned to leave, before someone came out of the hospital. It was a nurse, a young man with a glare in his eyes.
The Human stormed straight up to Akvan, forcing the surprised Demon to the ground. A forced lift of Akvan's lip to expose his teeth, and the nurse's eyes squinted even more with anger. "You, you're here every night, monster. I know you, people describe the God of Disease around town, plenty of info spread about." Akvan pulled his head away from the man, but soon his fearful eyes were blinded by the fire from the man's hand. The nurse grinned, holding the flame close to Akvan's face. "Maybe we should change that face, it will be like that skin burning disease you once killed people with." The man hissed, fire close enough to leave a painful mark on Akvan's cheek. The instant he felt pain, Akvan lost control of the magic forming from his own hands. A cloud of toxic green, so strong it forced the man off of Akvan and against the wall of the hospital. The God lifted himself to his feet, hand up to keep the man immobilized as he noticed the witnesses around, all running for cover inside or towards the streets.
The small flicker of lost control ended as soon as it began. The moment of Shinda almost taking control was merely out of self-defence. Akvan blinked wildly, face dropping as he realized what he was doing, and how exposed he was. He closed his hand, letting the magic fade around the man before summoning his wings to take off towards the high rooftops. Akvan landed on the second floor of the hospital, facing away from the entrance as the nurse continued to curse into the wind, interrupting everyone's night. The Demon sighed, wiping part of the burn with the side of his cloak as he stared at his feet. "Well at least I tried, right?" He asked himself. So close to entering the place born from his evil power, so close to watching the sick and thinking of ways to comfort them as a visiting stranger. But Akvan learnt slow, and always forgot, he would only ever get close, achieving goals, even the simple ones, just weren't what he deserved.

Chester could feel herself dosing off, not knowing how long she had been waiting... And she would have done if it wasn't for the sudden screaming and the words of 'Monster' 'God' and 'Killed' It wasn't hard for her to guess who this guy was talking about.. Or to. Flipping herself back onto her feet, and grabbing her backpack and bow, Chester headed off in the direction of the commotion. Only catching the last thing the man said, She was quick to move out of the way of Akvan's self defence act.. You had to a fool or blind not to see that, that what it was. Rushing over to the fallen nurse, when she missed catching up to Akvan... Chester just scowled at the man. "You think he wants to kill?" And at this she addressed everyone who gathered around, the same disgust on all their faces... "You are all sorely mistaken... Ak... The God of Disease only wants to help people... If he doesn't do this job, then someone else will.. Hell, when you die, if it was into the Demon realm... Who's to say you wont have to do the same thing... Its better to have him, then some Demon who will enjoy what they do... You make things worse by hating him for the job he's been burdened with so no one else has to.... God, you people make me sick..." Chester took one last look around the group of people, some with the same look on their faces, others with a slight look of guilt... Turning solely towards the man, Chester spit on the ground next to him. "He is not a monster... You on the other hand are... I hope you have a terrible life to come." And with that Chester walked away from the group and looked up towards where Akvan ran to. "Buddy... Mind giving me a lift up there?"

Hugging himself, Akvan just stared forward into nothing, not caring for the rest of the night. What a way to bring him down. If only Akvan could learn to expect that things around him were always horrible, that way he could predict them, learn to expect the hatred around him. And all of the commotion from the nurse, Akvan couldn't find it in him to blame or hate the man. The man was a part of the hospital, he looked after those sick and dying. Formed bonds, bonds broken when Akvan's cruel magic took the sick's lives. Anyone in that situation would look for someone to blame, someone to take away the pain and replace it with the easier to bare, anger. Even the burn, and the crushing weight on his chest, Akvan deserved all of it. He would have bared the pain, if it wasn't for his other self appearing for a moment to protect Akvan's body. Akvan sniffed, covering his head under his arms. Thing had calmed down in the town, the man's monologuing had seized for some reason. Akvan only realized why when he heard some familiar from below. He lifted his head, smiling slightly. He slowly shuffled down to the edge of the rooftop, hopping down and keeping the descent slow with his wings. Akvan kept the small smile as he nodded to Chester. "Hey... umm, how've you been Chester?" Akvan muttered, back to his shy self even in addressing a friend. Akvan eventually looped his arms under Chester's, lifting them both back to the rooftops were it was safer, at least for the infamous Demon.

Chester gave a small smile towards Akvan, giving off a nervous chuckle, these events were not ones she imagined re meeting Akvan over... But now they have, she would have to deal with it. "I should be asking you that..." Chester wrapped her arms around his neck as he lifted her, and when they reached the roof top, Chester still didn't let go, knowing that he needed the comfort right now. "Don't listen to those freaks... They have no understanding on who you are." Chester looked at Akvan, she knew now exactly how far some of his feeling went after the talk with Gensho, and she stuck by what she told him... About wanting to help him. "You okay though... Like really? And don't say you are just to keep me happy, I want to know, I want to help."

Akvan landed on a flatter area of rooftop, eyes averted anywhere else. Yes, Akvan supposed it would have been impossible for Chester to miss the commotion so close by. He felt a little... embarrassed, to know that someone he valued so closely had seen the worst of Akvan's troubles so soon after meeting him. But Akvan guessed it was bound to happen eventually. He sighed, "I'm fine." The God claimed simply, although he returned Chester's hug with longing. He didn't receive such comfort often, and so to have it now of all times was treasured. Akvan closed his eyes, head resting on Chester's shoulder. "No, I suppose not. But it's not my personality they chose to hate, it's my reason for existence. The fact that I might be caring is beyond them when people are still being killed by my hands... I can't blame them for it." Akvan stated, moving to sit down on the rooftop after releasing Chester's arms from his neck. "I... don't know. I don't know how to feel. For times I am happy, glad to meet someone so kind and feel better about myself, and angry over the fact that this world still faces the suffering I cause, as well as feeling guilty as those who suffer find themselves near me, when I act so happy when I have no right to."

Chester sat beside Akvan, leaning her head on his shoulder and taking hold of one of his hands, she was going to give him as much comfort as possible. "They have no right to hate you for what you do. Before people knew about the Demons... They could only see things as natural. Humans just want something or someone to blame for things, its wrong and cruel, but that's the way it is. Like I've told you before, you deserve all the happiness in the world, even more so... You don't choose to harm or kill others. Its just way of the world." Chester took a quick glance towards Akvan, giving him a small smile before resting her head on his shoulder once more, and proceeding to kiss the knuckles of the hand she was holding. "My race is full of cruel idiots, who have no understanding on the affairs of other races and what they do. Its wrong and I hate it, but that's the way it is unfortunately. So please stop beating yourself up over things like this, its far from your fault."

Akvan's eyes were just glued to the ground, he hated the fact that his next meeting with Chester had be in such a sore time, and Akvan as usual blamed himself for it. Come meet him at the hospital, the place Akvan usually went to wallow. The Demon sighed, beginning to look at Chester as she spoke more. He longed to believe her, wanted so much to think that everything Chester said was true. It could well be, to Akvan this Human girl was one of the wisest. When Chester began to comfort Akvan further, the Demon somehow wanted to cry from it. Why was someone so kind around him, why were they trying their best to make him feel better? Akvan sniffed, eventually leaning into Chester's shoulder. "I missed you." He muttered simply, a single tear dropping from his eye.

Note: Im sitting here thinking... Should I?.. I did, and you will know which part (I hope). Its small, but adorable.... I've been reading Fluff... DONT JUDGE ME.
Chester looked towards Akvan as he rested against her shoulder and spoke. It was quiet, and to her, sounded broken... It was not something she liked, especially from him... Akvan deserved so much happiness. When she saw the tear fall, Chester knew she had to stop anymore... But without even thinking, she leaned down to kiss his cheek where the lone tear sat... And despite the unconscious decision to do such a thing, a part of Chester felt it was the right choice. Moving her head to lean it against Akvan's, gripping his had tighter, Chester knew she wouldn't change this moment for the world. "I missed you too. You don't even know how excited I was to come down here, just to see you. So don't cry, you'll make me cry." Chester could feel her eyes begin to fill with unshed tears from just looking at the broken Akvan... It wasn't right, she much preferred his smile. "So smile would ya, you have such a lovely one."

Akvan stopped himself from shattering completely, breaking down on Chester's shoulder. The one tear was unstoppable, but Akvan didn't want to put the poor girl through listening to his suffering. He felt the trickle of the tear fall, before it was suddenly covered as Chester's kissed his cheek. The Demon's eyes changed from droopy and sad to wide eyed instantly, and he didn't dare move in fear he might scare away the nice feeling on his cheek. Akvan went silent, barely breathing as he lifted a hand to stroke were he was kissed. It was such a new feeling, and cherished because of it's unique nature, and the fact it was given by Chester. He felt so strange, someone who's only comforts extended to a rare hug off of his brothers, who knew pain more than caring. This new sensation was incomparable, and perfect. "I... I don't think I went a day without considering whether to go find you or not... I'm sorry you had to come up here, and at such a bad time." Akvan muttered, throat clenched up. He did lift his head and look at Chester, lifting his face into a smile. "A-and," Akvan placed a hand on his cheek again, "thank you."

Chester was panicking for a second, believing she did the wrong thing and mucked everything up, but seeing Akvan smile... That was why she did what she did, she loved seeing him happy, that, and she wanted to, now that she thought about it. "Anytime, really. And not a problem, im glad to have caught you... And sure this meeting wasn't the ideal one, though its nice to get away from the forest for a while, but im glad to have been able to give the people down there a piece of my mind... You deserve so much happiness, and if I can bring you that in anyway, I will. And as much as I promise that to you... Its more of a fact for me..." Chester grabbed both of Akvan's hands, kissing the knuckles, before bringing them into her lap and resting her head on his shoulder once more, feeling safe, secure and comfortable. "Ide go to the end of the realms if it meant getting to see someone I lo.. Care so much for, and only two fit that category so far... Your one of them only two."
