Name: Ningen Dake (nickname: Nin, Ni-ni.)
Age: 22
Gender: Boy
Race: Angel (once Human)
Job: Being a Noble, speaking on behalf of Human race.
Rank: 5 Stars
Appearance: 'Casual' Clothes - Noble Clothes
Ningen looks the part of an Angel. His soft, silver hair and pale skin. He could also pass for a guy twice his age, which confuses most other Nobles. His eyes are deep purple, and no matter how much work he puts in, Nin is rather thin and scrawny. When he finally gets away from the Noble life, Ningen retires to simple, mechanic-style clothes to walk about in. Belted with supplies that a guy could need, Ningen looks the part of a friendly, everyday worker. Only when he is in his usual Noble attire is it obvious of his place in Human hierarchy. A typical style of the Dake family of Nobles, Nin wears complete black, tightly fitted, and armoured. A single, light sapphire jewel sits in the chest of the clothes, and the attire is fitted with all sorts of amour parts and typical Noble getup.
Personality: Ningen Dake is a pro-peace Noble. He understands and respects all parties in the conflict between the three races, and is on the forefront of making changes for the better. Ningen is rather lax when not working, spending his time either wandering around or building some new, crazy invention. He lives to be free, and never looks happy when in silly Noble meetings. He may not look like he cares, but changing the perspectives of Humans is his dream. He is a friendly guy, loves to talk, so long as it isn't always questions on the rich and lucky life he lives, and sees no difference in talking to any race. He hides the pains of his past inside as well as his current condition, expressing his own feelings rarely since he believes others will find them 'boring'.
Likes: A good Nap, messing with machines, making friends, upgrading stuff, learning about others.
Dislikes: Pointless fights, arguing politicians, looking like a spoilt brat, discrimination and racism.
Weapons: Nin's skills in magical weapon engineering compacts for his personal use, in the form of his Tri-Magic Hand-Gun. The TMHG is Ningen's prized possession, and he put many upgrades and favouritism towards the small weapon.
Nobles aren't supposed to fight, it's what bodyguards are for, but Ningen knows that he can't always rely on others to protect him.
Magic: Repair Magic: A non-combat magic that allows Ningen to perfect the art of engineering easily. He can observe and locate damaged parts of any item, and then fix them by placing his hand over the damage. How well he can fix something depends on the depth of damage, and how much energy it would take to mend, or what kind of material he's working with.
History: Many Dukes live and die without many hardships. They have enough money and power to keep even Demon Gods at bay. And yet the story of the Dake Duke family is well known, and the family is sometimes even rumoured to hold a curse. Every line seems to hold some unfortunate event, leading all the way down to the first Dake Duke, Ningen's great grandfather. The old and wise Duke was said to be the smartest thinker, and most honourable Human. He lived a long life, a very long life for a Human. To the ripe age of 100, it seemed to all that the first Dake Duke was immortal. And there was reason to it. Whilst rumours were all different; he had made a deal with a Demon, and in turn was given immortality, he'd seeked powers from the Mun clan for eternal life, he'd received a curse... all of the strange rumours had none proven true. Perhaps the first Dake was just a healthy old man, not even his current blood family know the real reason. But what they do know, is that for some reason or another, Demons tend to find the particular Noble family a tempting luxury. Many Dake's would fall to terrible fates, due to the unknown interest from Demons. Nin's great uncle, trapped and crushed under his own unforgivable sins. His grandfather, died young, kidnapped for a ransom and killed anyway. Ningen's two uncles, both killed in a brutal fire during riots in Baransu. And then, Ningen's father, collapsing from rapidly affecting diseases, dying by choking on his own blood before his family's eyes. Yes, many Dake's fell to demonic death, and all of them only the males of the family. Perhaps the curse wasn't true, but it was truly a coincidental fear that the Dake family held onto.
Curse aside, Ningen's life has been most of the usual, lucky Noble bring-up. He was born with a twin sister, Naze, and later on a younger sister, Toki. A brother, stuck with two sisters that loved to gang up on him. Whilst his father was still alive, he spent little time with the next heir, but time he did spend was cherished by Nin. Toki's health began to deteriorate, much like the disease Ningen's father carried, but she reacted differently to their father. She began to get tired easily, going pale and struggling to walk. But the three siblings tried to keep on growing up with a smile. Ningen was always the protective older brother, but Naze was the real fighter of the twins. When their father eventually died, Naze changed. One night, Ningen found himself drugged and dragged away from their family home by his twin sister. She kidnapped him with a heavy heart, and later explained her reason. Even at the age of twelve, Ningen was supposed to carry the title of Dake Duke from his father. And Naze knew, and feared their family curse, dreading to think of losing her brother if he chose to become a true Noble. Nin tried to fight it, but he too feared the curse, and the responsibility being passed onto him at such a young age. So he did indeed run away, and Naze returned to care for their little sister. Ningen lived a few years in far off villages without names, using his previously useless skills in repair and engineering work to get a living. As he grew up, despite loving the life of the free, Ningen became more mature. He was witness to acts of evil from Humans, and from Demons. However, he made friends with those on either side.
But it seemed no matter where or what he was, the 'curse' of Dake was to follow Ningen forever. He conducted the same disease his father did. There would be days where he would be fine and healthy, and other when he was a wreck, exhausted as he'd cough up blood. It was something Ningen slowly got used to living with.
Knowing that he was cursed being a Noble or not, Nin saw no reason why he should hide away from his sibling any longer. Ningen returned to the family home in Baransu, but not to the best welcome. His sister, Toki, had died of her weakness a few months before his return, leaving Naze and his mother alone to themselves. And, without a male of Dake blood around, the family soon lost their way in finances, having to leave the old grounds to find a simple house to live in. Naze was upset to see that Ningen was ill with the same deadly disease that had taken their younger sister, but also relieved to see him. Ningen refused to give into his fateful condition, instead retaking the family name and a place on the Noble's council. He wanted to change perspectives of Humans on the Demons and Angels in the sky. They didn't need a war, and Ningen didn't want his sister to fall into any more grief by pointless conflicts such as said war. So Ningen soldiered on, not giving in to the sickness, nor giving into the idea that there couldn't be peace amongst the three main races. He is currently the youngest Noble ever to hold a place on the Baransu council, but like his wise predecessors, Ningen's words of advice are still greatly taken into account. Although he knows there could be only a few years left of his life, Ningen won't know what true 'rest' is until he can guarantee peace.
Free Item: Magic Enchantment: Tri-Magic Hand-Gun - A simple hand-gun that Ningen upgraded personally, fitting the barrel with three small magic stones. Depending on which stone is activated by twisting the barrel, the gun shoots different, magic bullets. The Red stones creates fiery, explosive bullets. The Blue stone created bullets of ice, that freeze on contact. And the Yellow stone creates electrical bullets, used mostly to stun, can also be used to re-energize an ally.
