Onrah felt uncomfortable in the suit Gensho had brought out for him. But his younger brother had a much better eye for the smart dress than Onrah did. And long, dirty trench coats apparently didn't speak 'Demons can be civil' to the Human councils. Onrah felt smart, but having his hair brushed back all morning felt so weird. As soon as Onrah was out of the room, he shook his head like a dogs, messing up his hair to the usual scruffy degree. Today had gone rather well. There were some hard cases in the room, since some Humans still had bones to pick with the God of Death. He'd been pounded on the idea that he was far too carefree to be in charge of such a huge occasion, but Onrah had managed to show himself worthy, by being able to recount everyone previously dead, how and what realm they were reborn to. He was able to prove that he cared a lot for those affected by his job, which, under a certain light, was like saying Onrah cared for the entire Human race. So he and the charismatic Gensho had managed to get a second meeting with the noble Humans of this area of Sohul. And Gensho was especially giddy after the meeting.
It seemed Onrah's flamboyant brothr finally had his dream come true. A ball, one to share between all three main races in the Baransu Tower. Gensho always longed to host such a massive and important event, and now was his chance. Some on the council saw the night skies Gensho made as remarkable and works of genius, so it was only natural for the God of Night to be put in charge of such a big event. And Onrah hoped to play his part to. The ball, scheduled for two months time, would be the first occasion where all three races of Angel, Demon and Human could share a room and a chat without being at one another's throats. Demons could make friends to Humans and Angels alike, and Onrah would be there, standing up for his race that didn't deserve the forever reputation of evil, troublemakers.
Onrah tugged at the white shirt around his neck, glancing into the entrance of the Tower, awaiting the red and ecstatic face of Gensho to appear any moment now. They planned on leaving together. Word of two Demons meeting the nobles spread around quick. Which could mean Onrah and Gensho could be approached by all manners of trouble on their way out. Or they could expect a parade and confetti, which the pair could only dream of.

Such a happy afternoon. And Gensho didn't normally think like that when the sun was still out. But today, in the blazing sun, even the nocturnal Demon couldn't find a reason to be down. He was over the moon, and in good reason. He and Onrah had guested their best attempt at peace yet, finally getting a positive ray of hope from the nobility of Humans for a chance that Humans and Demons might make friends. And what was more, Gensho was given the chance of his lifetime to make the best night ever. A ball, hosted by his truly, to force together representative from all three races to meet together, dance and party and hopefully tied the ribbons of peace at last. It would be a tremendous occasion, and Gensho couldn't help but giggle like a child as he rounded up near the exit to the Tower. He walked besides an elderly Human lady, skipping slowly to make sure she could keep up. "Well, apart from the moon, my role is to put the stars in their correct places, I could also alter the colour of the sky too, on the rare occasion when I am in most high spirits, I can also create abnormal and beautiful streaks of light in the sky." Gensho began, smiling down to the powerful Human. She smiled through her wrinkly lips, placing a hand on Gensho's arm. "My granddaughter always loves to stay up late, watching what kind of night sky to expect. 'Look Nanny! The sky is purple tonight!' It would be so hard to get her to sleep." The lady replied, much to a friendly chuckle from Gensho. It was nice to talk so commonly to a Human. Things might be different if Gensho wasn't a God with a nice job like the Night, but at least it was a start. When he reached the door, Gensho turned around, removing his hat as he knelt in front of the elderly lady. "Well my dear, it was truly a pleasure to have your attention today, I can only hope we can chat again." Gensho said, kissing the lady's hand before taking his leave from the tower. He quickly located and approached Onrah, slapping the man's arm when Gensho noticed how scruffy Onrah had made his hair. But Gensho couldn't bring himself to care, and gave Onrah a hug as he giggled with excitement over their success today.

It was difficult to get away from the meetings for a few days, and extra hard to hide the fact Chester was going to speak to the council about the Realms. Something she couldn't even remember getting invited to, but having so anyways. If her family... And god forbid Itami found out she was helping find peace between the three... Chester shuddered at the thought... She was definitely breaking all the rules laid out for her these past few weeks, first Akvan, then Kaku living, and now this... But Chester had to admit, it was better than doing nothing. She felt really out of place in Baransu, considering how well many dressed... And she with her usual attire, covered in mud. Chester was currently leaning against the tower wall, she was told by one of the nobles that another Human was to meet her here and she should expect to see Demons hanging around too, as their meeting with the council recently finished. Chester briefly wondered who they would be, but didn't really care, she just wanted to get things over and done with as soon as possibly... Or at least before the Outlaws found out she was here in the first place. She and the other Human representative was due to go in, in about an hour, but the other had yet to show up... It was late and Chester was a little tired, but she could bare it, for now... Its not like she personally could say much... For, reasons. Looking up at the sky, Chester gave a silent praise to Gensho... He really outdid himself tonight. Closing her eyes, all Chester could do now was wait for the other to turn up.

Nanari was on cloud nine, when the messengers of the council came to her house personally, and asked her to speak on behalf of the Humans about peace between the realms, Nanari couldn't keep in her enjoyment, and since then she has been fussing over what to say, what to wear, the lot. And now the day had finally arrived. She asked Tulus to stay at home during this visit, or stay with Mavie... When the now healed five year old found out she was getting a few days with Tulus she was ecstatic... But even her excitement couldn't match Nanari's. She was quick to pack a bag for a few days, mostly filled with research notes on the realms, and healing stuff, she figured that she could help in a local healers for a few days while she was staying. As Nanari got closer to the Tower, the more nervous she got, she had been in Baransu for a day now, going over things to say... Wondering what her fellow Human representative was like, and who they were... But now it was only an hour until she was due to speak, and Nanari was getting cold feet... Not because she didn't want to do it, but because she feared that what she says wouldn't do anything to help. But it was too late to back out now, even if she wanted to. Nanari had been told to turn up this hour early to meet her fellow representative who should be waiting either just outside, or inside the building. In her case, from what she could gather, was outside... A female, not much younger than herself, leaning against the wall... It was obvious they weren't use to how one would dress in Baransu, she was covered in mud for a start, but that didn't bother Nanari, if anything it made her job of finding the other easier. Heading over, all she could hope was that the other was kind, and not one of those cold hearted humans she often came across. "Hi... Im Nanari... You representing the Humans for the peace conference?"

Onrah didn't have to wait for his brother long before Gensho appeared to grip the tall Demon in a celebration hug. He chuckled as Gensho suddenly seemed concerned with Onrah's sudden scruffy hair, but it wasn't like they were supposed to be looking smart anymore. Onrah pulled Gensho into his usual embrace, wrapping the smaller Demon under an arm, ruffing up Gensho's hair, as well as stealing his hat. "Well little brother, I'd call that a success, and nice job on this sky, perhaps we should go find some of your friends and celebrate this night with a proper meal and golden drink?" Onrah suggested. Right now he could go for a good drink, as well as gossip around town to all of the friendly Humans who might want to know how the talk went. The God didn't really give his brother much thought on the matter, before dragging the Night God to the east of the tower. They only had to walk a short way before Onrah spotted someone he knew. The God smiled, looking at the small woman, standing near the tower with another. "Hey little brother, they're talking for the Humans right? I thought the council mentioned getting a fellow Humans point of view," Onrah pointed to his doctor/friend, "that's Nanari, the one that helped me with my injury a week or so back, but who's the lovely young lady with her?"

Gensho couldn't stop the strong arm of Onrah forcing him into a hug. Nor could the smaller Gensho reach his hat as the brute took it from him to wear himself. But Gensho couldn't remain stern for long, eventually giggling as his older brother spoke about their success. "Of course, Onrah, I'm sure they'd be delighted to hear how it went, and share a good meal and Human beverage with us." But Onrah was already moving before Gensho could even state his agreement, and the God of Night could only chuckle at his happy brother. It sure was nice to hang around with the God of Death, since Onrah seemed almost always busy. To have a day with his older brother, the council could have hated them and Gensho would still be happy. As soon as Onrah stopped, Gensho wriggled out of his hold, and jumped to grab his hat from the Demon's head. As Gensho put it back on, he noticed first the girl leaning on the wall. Because her outfit was simply monstrous for a place like the tower, and because he instantly knew her face. Gensho grinned, pointing out for his brother. "She is Chester, you know... the one our boy Akvan has the eye for?" Gensho said with a chuckle. He didn't wait to move off towards the two ladies, quickly grabbing the older ladies hand. "My lady, you are the wondrous, most wise lady that helped my hopeless brother heal his shoulder, are you not? I thank you for your most kind of deeds." Gensho lightly kissed Nanari's hand, before winking to Chester.

Chester was in a world of her own, so when she suddenly heard the voice, she was quick to jump and give a small yelp, before getting a look at the other. She... Nanari seemed nice enough from just looks alone, so Chester couldn't complain... Hell, if things went well, perhaps she could make a friend... Her first ever human one at that. "Seems like it." Chester gave a small chuckle before holding out her hand towards the other. "Im Chester, im guessing you are representing us too." Chester rearranged herself against the wall and took a quick glance around, not noticing anything of interest just yet. "You have any understanding on how this is meant to go? Im not use to... Much company." She felt as if she needed to ask, it was true in a way, her not being use to the company... But not, she just wasn't use to human company. But Nanari didn't have much chance to reply before Gensho, who Chester guessed was representing the Demons, came and introduced himself to Nanari... Now Chester knew the next hour would be a lot more interesting. "Nice to see ya again Gensho."

Nanari gave an involuntary chuckle when she startled the other. She didn't actually mean to after all. But she allowed the other to take their time in calming down, they had an hour to get introductions out the way, and Nanari was really hoping she could make friends with the other... If they were chosen, then either the council had found a polar opposite to what Nanari was to say, or another defending peace... Not that she would care about the opinions when based around making friends. "Yup, im so excited." Nanari took a few moments to look over Chester, despite the muddy clothing she seemed nice enough, and assumed the reason behind said muddy clothing was due to where the other lived. Looking towards the other Nanari smiled. "I assume we go in, answer questions or give a little speech about what we think about the matter, and then go home... Or in my case go out and do a bit of healing work. And im sure you will do fine, just tell them the truth behind what you think and they cant say your wrong." Nanari heard the hesitation from Chester, but decided not to comment on it, one they didn't know each other just yet, and two it sounded like something the other wouldn't really want to talk about. Nanari was about to say more, but was quickly cut off by the sudden company... Giggling at the mans, Guessing Demon's, kindness and gentlemen's like quality, she gave him a huge smile. "Would your brother happen to be called Onrah? He is the only name I can pick out from my recent wound healings... And it is no problem, I was glad to be of assistance..." Nanari took a quick glance towards Chester as she greeted the other. "Gensho.." Giving the other another smile, she curtsied, feeling as if the time was right to do such a thing. "Would Onrah happen to be around?"

Onrah stood back amongst the usual Baransu crowds to watch his brother do his usual thing. It was hard for Onrah to actually hang back and hide, since he was a seven foot tall Demon with one eye. But the God of Death was good at being quiet, he'd get in a lot of trouble during his job if he couldn't hide quickly. The Demon circled around the girls and Gensho, making sure he was to the backs of the ladies. He waited in the shadows for his time to shine. Smiling to the back of Nanari. He was glad of all Humans, someone kind like her could get a say. She was after all a varying healer, happy to take in anyone at her door. She even helped the God of Death, the reason behind Human tragedies, or at least part of them. So anyone with a heart so open like hers would do wonders in front of that council, Onrah was sure.
Once Nanari had finished her question, Onrah took his opportunity. He walked right up behind the younger girl, Chester, before forcing his hands down on her shoulders. Jump-scare affect in place, Onrah gave the most evil glare he could muster. To describe it would be to say the world was lucky that Onrah was almost always happy, because his opposite was beyond Demonic. Onrah kept the angry glare, towering over the small person. "So you're the one trying to help my brother." Onrah stated in a low voice. He then proceeded to stare until it became awkwardly uncomfortable and scary, before dropping his crazed look for the usual happy one. Poor Chester was lifted clean of the ground into an Onrah Hug, the Demon shaking her around a bit before placing the small Human down. "Thanks, you're doing a great job." Onrah chirped, patting Chester's head. He was soon to turn and grin to his old friend. "Nanari!" Onrah exclaimed, arms open to the Human lady.

Notes: feel free to be vague on Akvan x Chester thread, or make it up if you like Gensho smiled sweetly to Nanari's return of pleasantries. "That would be my big brother, yes, and he's done nothing but gossip your kindness to his younger brothers." Gensho replied. He lifted himself up to look around behind. It would be hard for any normal person to see, but Gensho could just make out the shadow of Onrah in the crowd. Gensho didn't point him out, however, because any brother of Onrah knew when the tall Demon was plotting a prank. Gensho hummed, "Can't say I know where he is right now, perhaps he went back inside the tower for something." The God eventually stated. Without being rude, Gensho ignored Chester until his brother had performed his little prank. Gensho was the only one to giggle at the glare of Onrah's evil face, knowing the big friendly giant was never this serious. When Onrah had finished, and turned to Nanari, Gensho went up to Chester. "I apologise for Onrah, he can be a bit... enthusiastic, even more than I." Gensho paused to giggled, smiling brightly to Chester. The God of Night sighed, "I haven't seen Akvan for a while, but I assume things went well with your meeting?"

Chester just stood and watched, and listened to the conversation going on in front of her, she knew Gensho wasn't being rude but ignoring her, and talking to Nanari instead, in fact Chester didn't mind. It allowed her to come up with some things Nanari could possibly ask, that Chester needed an answer for... That was until she felt a slight presence.. No Idea who or what, but she felt one... Hoping it not to be one of the Outlaws... But it didn't help when said presence decided to give her a jump scare. "AHH!" That now made two in one night. Slowly turning around, Chester gave her own glare towards the Demon, not allowing herself to feel uncomfortable by his... She should be use to it from the Outlaws by now. Before she got a chance to reply, Chester was suddenly lifted off the ground in one of the most bone crushing hugs she had ever received, and that was saying a lot. "No thanks necessary... Like I told Gensho, I would have done so even without meeting either of ya." Finally finding her footing, Chester turned towards Gensho and smiled. "Not a problem... Though I wished to go into this meeting feeling my limbs." Giving off a light chuckle, Chester thought back to the other night with Akvan. "Things started off a little strange... But things got better, and I loved every minute of my time with him. As always." Chester muttered that last part under her breath... There was so much more she could say, but at the same time, she wanted to keep that night to herself, unless in the future Gensho once more talks to her about when hearing things from Akvan.

Nanari burst into laughter when Onrah scared Chester, though she had to admit to jumping a little herself, before she silently watched the exchange, giving small smiles to the three of her fellow companions. Once their conversation was over, Onrah turned his attention towards Nanari, opening his arms, a hug she was more than willing to return. Throwing her arms around his stomach, Nanari hugged him back with all that force she could muster up. "Onrah! How are you? Is your shoulder any better?" Nanari fought the need to check for herself, before receiving an answer. She could trust whatever her friend said. She then moved onto fingering the little pink skull around her neck before smiling to the Demon. "I felt bad for adding a small hole to the skulls head, but I wanted to keep it safe and on me at all times... What do ya think?"

Onrah was the king of jump scaring his friends, and he grinned with success as he managed to get a squeal off of Chester. The big, friendly Demon chuckled, looking back at Chester as he engulfed Nanari in a hug. "Any friend of mine knows that feeling limbs is a thing of the past, I'm proud to say I give the deadliest hugs." Onrah commented back, giving a wink with his good eye as he squeezed Nanari between his long arms. With Chester entertained by Gensho, Onrah focused his eyes down on Nanari. He gyrated his once wounded arm around, nodding to Nanari. "It was the best treatment I think a Demon has ever received from an injury, I should warn you of any upcoming Demon friends of mine looking for treatment." Onrah's eye soon spotted the little skull around Nanari's neck, and he gently leaned closer to get a good look. "I'd say you'll be safe from anything, perfect place for pinkie to protect you. And thanks, I like knowing my gifts are cherished, I like it more than receiving gifts myself... which reminds me." Onrah finished, muttering the last bit, and winking to Nanari. Onrah turned on his heel, facing his younger friend and brother. The Demon pulled out two more skulls from his pocket, having prepared extras for everyone important to him. A touch of magic like when he gave Nanari hers, and Onrah held out two skulls, one red and one a very dark blue. Onrah cleared his throat, "My dear Chester..." Onrah began, holding out the red skull towards Chester, "A gift from me, a thank you for taking care of my silly little brother, and a gift to announce our official friendship." Onrah smiled, then holding out the darker skull to Gensho.

Gensho eyed Chester with a sly smile, his eyes partly covered by his hat. "That is good to hear, he hasn't been seen by me or Onrah for a while, so it's good to hear he's all right." Gensho replied, smile only just faltering for a moment. Gensho eventually sighed, bringing Chester into a friendly hug. "To be honest, before you came along, we were getting worried about Akvan, but knowing he's safe with a new friend... It's making Onrah's and my job much easier." Gensho muttered to Chester, smiling again as he stepped back to let Onrah talk next. The Demon watched without knowing what his older brother had planned, until he saw the skulls. Gensho smiled, watching Onrah little plan. It was sweet to think that Onrah was going out of his way to make little skulls for his Human friends, to protect them from those fellow Demons or dangerous people ready to do them harm. Gensho felt content, until he realized Onrah was also giving out the skulls as a gift, not just as little guards. And the God would have opened his mouth if Onrah hadn't handed him the dark skull. Gensho made a little squeaking noise, holding the skull carefully as he admired his own little skull, which to Gensho's eyes was the best Onrah had made from the lot.

Chester happily retuned the hug, she herself was worried about Akvan, she really wanted him to be happy, but the Demon seemed hell-bent on believing he didn't deserve it... Which was far from the truth. But regardless, Chester smiled towards Gensho. "We will have to organise something together soon, and drag Akvan along... Im sure the force of all of us would give him a boost. And maybe I can see what you guys do to help... And why he gets annoyed when you and Onrah get drunk." Thinking back, they still hadn't worked out anyway to get the two back for throwing Akvan's to Rycora, so perhaps a meet up would be the perfect time to plan something. Turning towards Onrah, Chester was a little surprised to receive anything, but she had to admit, the small red skull was pretty cool. "No need to thank me, I lo... care about Akvan too, and I want to help, as I said, I would help even without meeting either of you. But thank you, its very sweet." Chester was trying to decide where to put the skull to keep it safe, it couldn't be somewhere where her family could see it, nor did she wish to hide it, eventually she put it into an inner pocket of her coat, to keep it safe until she worked out what more to do with it.
