The pink and blue posters were everywhere around Clue, littering shop windows to hanging over the top of stalls. The Wolvine walked around, eyes darting like a bird watching a hoard of delicious flies, his tail wagging when particular posters caught his attention. They all had the same Human scribbles on them, 'Fronk and Battie's Freak Show!', whatever that meant. Clue knew some of the words, but reading them in such a combination was foreign to the Wolvine boy. He still felt strangely excited by the funky colours and pictures of happy people. Clue clutched the basket of food a little tighter as he pushed his way through the busy Baransu streets. He didn't like being so close to lots of busy and unfriendly Humans, and some even tried to tug on his ears or tail when they grabbed out with their funny little Human hands. Ears flat against his hair, Clue snuck his way through the busy streets, ignoring the glances of anyone who wasn't pro-Wolvine. The wolf-boy hated going out on errands on his own. Mizetto said it would be good to find his own way to deal with others rather than just looking to the Demon for help in every conversation. So that was why Clue's master had ordered him to pick up supplies in the busiest area of Baransu. The colourful and interesting banners and posters kept Clue's mind at some ease, since they looked so exciting and happy. But even that couldn't stop the Wolvine yelping every time someone accidentally bumped into him, or stepped on his delicate feet. At one point, a little child stopped the Wolvine in his tracks, standing right in front of the young wolf, staring up at Clue's pointy ears. The Wolvine ran as soon as the child screamed, or giggled or some other scary Human noise. He ran quickly, since his Wolvine legs took big strides, and Clue was so concentrated on making sure the goods didn't fall out of the basket he'd not spotted the man in front of him.
A crash and smash some of the goods, and Clue was on the floor, looking around for the poor Human he'd hit. Clue spotted a colourful, purple and pink hat, retrieving it as he got up. The man got up too, looking rather flustered, but more out of surprise than anger. Clue shivered, before holding out the man's hat carefully. "S-s-sorry." Clue whimpered, ears flat on his head. The man with the funny moustache smiled, taking his hat from the skittish Wolvine. "No need my friend, I wasn't looking where I was going." The man replied in a lovely, soothing low voice. Clue tried to smile, although he was on the urge of finding a wall to hide behind, since there was no Mizetto to cower behind right now. But then he looked properly at the man. "A-are you? The happy man on the posters?" The man frowned, before his mind sparked on what Clue meant. "Oh, the upcoming shows? Why yes, I'm Fronk, the company's Beast and Ringmaster. Tell me, my friend, are you by chance a Wolvine?" Clue was lost with awe of being able to meet the man on the many colourful posters, tail moving like made behind him. When the man asked what he was, Clue simply nodded. Fronk's eyes seemed to change for a moment, before he dropped into a bow. "It's a honour to meet such a rare and magnificent creature such as yourself. Tell me, my Wolvine friend, are you interested in having a family full of those like yourself?" Fronk suggested. Clue seemed rather confused, his mind moving from wondering if this man was real, what he wanted and how cool he must be to have so many posters around. "Like me?" Clue questioned, honestly interested in the idea of being in a group of furry people like himself. "But of course, the strange and unwanted beauties like you are prized to me, close to my heart. My family is full of beasts like yourself, all happy to perform in front of Human for fun, and enjoying life with others like them. You would fit right in, Mr..." "Uhhh, Clue." Clue responded, so mystified by the ideas of being in a happy, Wolvine family he didn't really comprehend all of the man's ideas.

Takeo had not long arrived in Baransu, and already he hated the place, there was a reason as to why he barely left the comfort of Sora, though, he knew he would have to bare it, considering he was here under Queen Tenshi and his old masters orders. But while he waited to meet the two, Takeo decided to take a look around Baransu, and maybe find something for Ari as a apology that he couldn't bring her with him, no matter how much he wanted to. About twenty minutes into his walk around, he got bored of seeing certain posters around, he knew of this man, and despite anting to really hurt the guy, Takeo knew he could not. The man manipulated 'beasts' for his own selfish gain, but no matter how much Takeo wanted to put the guy away for such treatment, he couldn't. One he had no solid proof, and two if he tried anything himself, he was looking at becoming an Outlaw, and he refused to become such a thing because that would meant leaving behind Ari... Takeo was so lost in his thoughts that he almost missed said man and what looked to be Clue, if he remembered correctly, talking... He would not allow Clue to be brought into the trap... "Hey! Leave him alone and go back to your band of freaks. Those 'beasts' you 'care' for are forced into performing for you humans sick pleasure." Takeo held one had on his sword and stood in front of Clue, like he said, he wouldn't let the Wolvine to be sucked into the trap. "Im not letting you take another."

The funny man smiled to know Clue's name, offering out what looked like a treat to the Wolvine. It didn't look like the usual treats Clue got off Mizetto, but upon tasting it, it did have a similar, yummy tang. As Clue chewed on the treat, Fronk chuckled as he clutched a small rope. Clue hadn't realized, or cared, that Fronk had managed to tie a small rope around his wrist when Clue went to receive the treat. "What a magnificent find, won't Battie be happy with this." Fronk muttered, smiling even more as Clue decided to sit down in the middle of the street, hands over his mouth as he finished off his snack. Clue was quick to cover his head, however, when he heard another's loud voice. The Wolvine looked up to see someone familiar, or who at least had a familiar scent. Clue couldn't add up what the green man said compared to the nice man's previous statement. Fronk was the master of a happy family wasn't he? Why else would he kindly go around giving treats to unwanted Wolvines on the street?
Fronk himself seemed rather irritated by the green man's accusations, thought he tried to keep smiling. "We do not force our beloved pets in acts of sick pleasure!" Fronk claimed, making Clue's ears pull back with the sudden rise of voices. Loud noises was something Clue hated, and when one had the acute hearing of a Wolvine, most noises fell under the category of 'loud'. Fronk seemed upset, before tugging slightly on the rope around Clue's wrist. "Not letting me? You foolish intruder, I've already taken this one, much proven by the rope I have tied on him." Fronk stated. It was the first time Clue really noticed the rope. Whilst his previous lives made him used to them, this one felt unnaturally rough and itchy compared to the others. Chewing on his wrist uncomfortably, Clue suddenly remembered the name of the green man. "You... you are snot hair, right?" Clue asked, remembering his master calling the angry man that once.

Takeo glared towards the man. "Do you not? Well, you don't have me fooled." He was just one of those people that had Takeo itching to fight, and he had an excuse to do so this time round. "I'll have you know that this Wolvine already has a master, I have personally met him. You happen to be napping this Wolvine." Takeo unsheathed his sword, sending it straight down toward the rope, leaving it clean cut, and making sure Clue was behind Takeo and away from Fronk. Takeo half glanced towards Clue as he spoke, not wanting to take his sight off the man for even a second. "Its Takeo." He ignored once more the name the Demon seemed to have implanted into Clues mind, if he dwelled on it, his rage would be directed at Clue, rather than Fronk. "I suggest leaving now. Before I do something we both will regret." Takeo just watched Fronk, debating what he would do if the man didn't take his word of warning. Takeo knew this was a situation worth risking becoming an Outlaw over. "Well?"

Clue saw the sword and wanted to yelp, until whatever the man did with it caused his hand to be less itchy. Looking up to the scary man, he noticed how even Fronk felt a sense of fear around him. He was rather intimidating, Clue knew that from first meeting the green man when he picked his master up. Fronk lit up like a candle, going red in the face. He shook too, and Clue could only watch confused, right now, Mr Fronk didn't look like the man in the happy posters did. Clue's ears took note of Takeo's actual name, realizing his young master must have made up a name like usual. It was hard for the Wolvine, he couldn't tell when Mizetto was being truthful or just joking. And so Clue took a lot of what Mizetto said as literal.
Fronk seemed to laugh suddenly, twisting his moustache as he eyed Takeo. "Now, now let's not get rash. I find it adorable that you think you may best me sir. For you forget something, they don't call me a beast-master for nothing." It was then that the man's eyes began to glow, and his lips formed into a whistle. But, to Takeo, and everyone else, the noise was too high pitched. But to Clue, the noise was horrible, scary and made his ears tingle in pain. The Wolvine whimpered, hands over his ears to try and block out the noise. But it was too late to do anything, and Clue soon found the noise being pumped into his blood. Clue starting shaking, and growling, getting irritated by every note of the horrible whistle. Under no control of his own, Clue pushed forward to bite down on Takeo's leg. Yes, he was under Fronk's control, but even the beast master realized his mistake... Perhaps it would have served better to command the boy to turn into his actually dangerous Wolf form before making him get aggressive.

Takeo laughed, nothing this man does could scare or intimidate him, and the second he began to whistle, he knew what was to come. Takeo did not wish to harm Clue, but if this man really was as twisted as he believed then he may not have a choice. Gritting his teeth when Clue bit his leg, it would not stop him from fighting, he's had much, much worse pains then that, but it would leave a bruise later on, that would be difficult to explain to Ari if she saw it. Gripping his sword tighter, Takeo held it to Fronk's throat, drawing a small trail of blood. "Well that wasn't very nice." Using his free hand, Takeo took hold of Clue's hair, not enough to hurt him, but enough to keep his head back. "Will i have to tell you to leave once more? Because three chances is all your going to get."

Fronk's magic, a strange magic that brought back the most natural instinct in a beast was horrible. Clue felt like his head was burning from the inside, the beast-master's magic was efficient, if rather painful for the poor enslaved animals. Despite the fact that Fronk had stopped whistling, a sword to his throat made him unable to make any sound without the threat of death, Clue could still hear the painful noise in his sensitive ears. He growled, feeling his grip being pulled off of the man's leg as Takeo held him back. Fronk faked a smile, annoyed that his quickly thought plan wasn't successful. Perhaps if Clue was in his natural form, then the story would have ended differently. But like this, apart from his unnatural physical strength, Clue was pretty harmless. Fronk eventually huffed, backing off and pulling his hat down. "Oh this won't be the last you'll hear from me. This here is a travelling business of mine. If I don't get that Wolvine today, I'll get him another. So, farewell... and try not to let that wild animal wreck the town when I'm gone, he looks rather upset." And with that, the beast-master turned and ran, high tailed jacket flying back. Clue whimpered, holding his ears as the noise refused to die down. "T-T-Takeo?" Clue muttered, plucking at the remaining rope over his wrist whilst trying to snap his teeth around the arm currently holding him back.

Takeo smiled, "Your fault, and I wont let you get this Wolvine." this was a job well done, and didn't take up as much time as he thought... Which meant he wouldn't be late for his meeting. Looking towards Clue, Takeo waited until the man was out of sight before letting go of the others hair. He knew the ringing was probably still be in the others ears, and wouldn't go for a little while, but the main threat was gone for now, and that's what mattered. "Anything I can get you to help with the ringing?" Takeo knew that the second Clue was feeling better he would need to have a talk with the Wolvine, but for now he can show off a slight nicer side of himself, usually saved for just Ari.

Clue flopped to the floor as soon as his hair was released, gripping his ears with his hands, as well as covering his head between his knees. The Wolvine whimpered still. Whilst he was no longer in the mood to bite and be aggressive, Clue did still feel the meanie magic flowing around his head. Clue went from growling to whining for a little while, before finally beginning to respond to the kind, if scary, man in front of him. "H-help?" Clue wasn't offered assistance much, he was usually the one doing the helping, and not the other way around. So he didn't really know how to respond to the offer, nor did he know of a way to get rid of the pain in his ears. "I d-do not need help, a-a Wolvine does not need help... I o-only help others." Clue replied, getting up and wincing as his head pounded. He also looked around at the fallen goods he was carrying earlier, whimpering as he worried about how Mizetto would react if Clue came back without anything.

Takeo gave a small smile to the Wolvine in front of him, before crouching down to the other. "Everyone needs help once in a while, even a Wolvine." It was very hypocritical, coming from Takeo, considering the wingless Angel never asked or wanted help... But he did know when one needed it. Takeo un-crouched while Clue got up, and followed his gaze to the fallen goods, not many, if any, could be salvaged, but that didn't really matter considering the magic Takeo had... It was times like this that he knew it comes in handy, rather than just conjuring up booze all the time. "Your bratty Demon master going to be happy with that? I can conjure up everything ten times over if you want... Let me help you." Takeo rarely used his magic in such a way, nor did he offer such help out often, but Clue was a different case entirely, and Takeo felt inclined, as well as wanted to help.

Clue looked around at the splatters, the ruined goods. Money down the drain. Something Mizetto seemed to keep a close eye on, money. People found it really important, and Clue wasn't sure why, and Mizetto had some sort of romantic attachment to gold and coin, or at least Clue could only assume so when his master always went around smooth talking his coin. Clue's ears lifted, "Master is never angry at me... but he says that we shouldn't trust others." Clue said. In saying so, he realized what a foul mood Mizetto would have been put in if Clue had been lured away by the beast-master man from earlier. It made Clue shiver a bit. Clue knew that Mizetto wouldn't accept help, especially off the people who picked on the small Demon. But Clue loved watching others use magic, and he actually felt like he could trust Takeo. A Wolvine chose carefully who they trusted, making it hard to tame one, but it also meant good things about someone if they could get a Wolvine to trust in them. Clue sighed finally, smiling slightly as his tail moved left to right. "B-but Takeo is someone I can trust, and I would.... like some help please."

Takeo gave a small smile, he could see that bratty Demon saying such a thing, however he wasn't here right now to help Clue, whereas Takeo was. So he was glad that the Wolvine trusted him enough to allow him to help, and help was exactly what Takeo was going to do. "Okay." Taking a look round at what he could see from the fallen goods, Takeo began to conjure up the items, adding a few extra bits and pieces along the way, not enough to later alert the bratty Demon that something happened, but enough to keep the Wolvine out of any trouble he may find himself in. "Is there anything else your needing? For your Master or yourself perhaps?" Takeo needed to know, even if there was a slight hesitation, Takeo would know if the other wanted something. Hell, he was half inclined to blow off the meeting with her majesty and his old master as to help out and protect Clue until he was back with his master.

Clue remained rather quiet, but couldn't hide the glint in his eyes as he watched Takeo's magic. Clue quickly grabbed the basket the goods had been in, plucking up the new conjured things from the air and watching with glee as they slowly floated down into Clue's care. He couldn't help the smile on his face as he sniffed around the goods, making sure everything was there that Mizetto specifically wanted. Clue's tail wagged furiously, before he turned to bow his head to Takeo. "T-thank you, this kind gift is very much enough, thank you." Clue replied. He didn't feel right asking for help in the first place, if it hadn't been for the chance to see some magic and the fact that Mizetto would be more upset over having no food then Clue accepting help from someone. But, Takeo offered towards both the Wolvine and Mizetto. If his master heard that, Clue knew what kind of funny requests Zetto would make. Clue was hesitant as he did in fact remember something they needed. And he was sure Mizetto would be happy if their new friend could find one for them. "W-well, actually..." Clue began, looking at his feet. "Master doesn't admit it, but he doesn't like sleeping on the road like I do. Because he looks after me, master doesn't go up to his sky home, which makes him sad... I can tell. Maybe if, is there anywhere we could stay? Somewhere with soft things to sleep on, would you know?"

Takeo patted the Wolvine's shoulder and chuckled. "No need to be thankful, it was my pleasure to help." Making sure the other had a firm grip on all the supplies, Takeo realised that he would soon need to meet with the others. But Takeo didn't leave just yet, he wanted to make sure he could help with whatever the Wolvine needed. And when listening to his request, Takeo knew of a place, but Ari probably wouldn't be very happy with him for where, and he himself was a little reluctant to allow Mizetto to join, but after hearing that he barely ever went up to Dranar due to Clue, his resolve was more lenient. "I have a spare room back at mine, if you and your master wishes to stay, whenever you want... My home is back in Sora though, and quite hidden within the place, so I suggest letting me know if you wish to stay and meeting back at that shop where I first met the both of ya, so I can make sure you don't get lost finding the place." Ari really would try to kill him for opening up their home to Mizetto, though she wont mind Clue as much. But the offer was now out there, and he wasn't willing to ever take it back. Ari would just have to deal with it.

Clue smiled brightly when the Mr. Takeo offered them a place to stay at his house. Tail wagging, Clue did his best to imitate the smile that people usually did when happy. The idea of finding Mizetto a comfy bed for a night was exciting, and Clue didn't see any reason why the Demon boy wouldn't be thrilled to sleep warm and comfy for once without relying on Clue as a living pillow. Bowing low, but being careful not to lose his supplies, Clue's tail went like crazy from side to side. "T-thank you! Thank you! Master Takeo is a very nice person, yes!" Clue barked as his bowed up and down. The Wolvine showed something very rare when Takeo suggested leading them to his home; confidence. "Master would say: 'Never underestimate a Wolvine's nose'. He is correct, Wolvine can smell anything, and I have been teached all about using my nose. W-we could find Mr. Takeo's house easily by scent... U-unless he would prefer us to meet first." The dog boy looked around, sensitive ears picking up some sort of commotion far off, too far for any but a Wolvine to hear. Mizetto must have got bored and started a fight. Hiding his amusement, Clue turned and bowed once again to Takeo. "I-I should go find Mizetto... we will probably be in Sora in few days. Perhaps a week if we can't find flying things to get there with. So i-if Mr. Takeo is truly alright with us being adopted into home for a while, then I will smell out home in a week... I promise to try and keep Master Mizetto... calm for the time he stays."
