Tenshi watched in amazement. She never knew in all her years that one could do such a thing with a simple cutting knife, it both amazed her and made her curious to try it... Though she would not try such a thing, she doesn't want to be the cause of any missing limbs. Watching Hane do a simple cut and then taking the blade for herself she was ever so careful, not wishing for past experiences to repeat themselves. "I will be sure to watch in future and maybe create an competition just for them as a personal event during the festivals, sometimes its easy to overlook exactly how much they do."
Carefully handling the knife, Tenshi set about cutting the vegetables. Tongue sticking out in concentration and eyes unblinking. She took such satisfaction when she managed to make a perfect cut, with no problems attached. It was a lot easier than Tenshi had ever experienced before, and wondered slightly if this was her mind playing tricks, but she hoped not. Repeating the process, she was quick, but careful, to finish the rest. "See? Im not totally useless..."

Like Hane said, sometimes skills with a sword could pass on to skills elsewhere. Hane thought about the idea of a festival, it was interesting, and amusing. He would probably judge, and not take part, since he had 50 years more experience than other cooks. Hane could remember all of the times his fellow Angels watched with awe as the Guard sliced and cooked like it was thoughtless, and yet so precisely and perfect, not many of them knew it was because time wasn't an issue in Hane's training. The Queen's amazement was appreciated, to Hane, if Tenshi was impressed then that was all Hane needed as proof of himself. "A fine idea, your Highness, the cooks always tell me how honored they feel to cook during such events. So perhaps showing others the skills of a simple cook may better improve our respect to one another." It was easy to think the simple workers like cooks or farmers were out of rhythm when it came to fighting skills, but most often than not it was the opposite.
Hane giggled slightly when he watched the Queen's face contort as she sliced ever so carefully. He felt a little tense when she felt confident enough to pick up speed, it was that 'confidence' that brought the other kitchen disasters to life. But all vegetables were cut, fingers still attached. Hane put his arms up defensively, "I never said you were, your Highness!" He answered, face so close to a smile. Sighing, Hane gathered the vegetables together onto a wooden board, before scraping them into the pot. The soup bubbling as the contents cooks and flavored the water, Hane stood over it with wooden spoon in hand. He barely blinked, only glancing to the side to watch the Queen. "May I ask you to watch the soup? Just keep stirring it, and let me know if it foams up." Hane asked. He went over to the work table after handing Tenshi the spoon, gathering other ingredients into a bowl. Time for the Hane original, 'soup stiusib'. Special bread-like biscuits that Hane invented himself. They were crispy on the outside, and could hold a ridiculous amount of moisture on the inside. Truly, dipping a biscuit into a bowl of soup could eventually absorb all of the liquid. Hane always made them, and refused to give away his recipe. As a joke, he often told other cooks he'd give them the recipe in his will when he died.

"You thought it though.." Tenshi didn't mind the slight banter between the two, it was always an enjoyable part of her day, especially when her other children treated her with a little too much respect. She took the spoon off of Hane and began to slowly stir, it was always in these moments she mucked up the most, and after the effort Hane was going into to make the meal, she didn't want things to turn sour. Intensely watching the soup, she was amazed when she stood there for a good few minuets without having it served on the ceiling. Tenshi took a moments glance towards Hane, "when do you think..." In that split second, the soup began to boil over... Tenshi dropped the spoon, splattering a few drops over herself and the counter top, before moving away. "HANE."

Hane shook his head at the Queen's banter, she was always trying to make him smile, and it was appreciated. Hane would have smiled, if he wasn't concentrating on his own work. Coating part of the table with flour, and then rolling out the rubbery dough. Hane pulled it apart, taking a straw and carefully blowing more air into the dough. Stiusib was made from the airiest dough, and Hane was known for his unique take on raising the dough. He rolled it and rolled it, listening carefully to the bubbling water behind him, cautious of anything happening with the Queen near the pot. Hane managed to get lost in concentration as he carefully added flavourings to the bubbly dough, until he heard his name being called. Instinctively, Hane drew his blade, darting in front of the Queen to defend her from whatever danger caused her to speak up. It took a little while for Hane to register what it actually was. For once, Hane actually chuckled properly, shaking his head as he put his blade away, turning down the temperature of the stove and blowing the rising foam away. "You need to watch for the foam, if it gets too high just blow over the top." Hane stated, turning to look Tenshi up and down. "Do you require a cloth for the splatter? Or if it safe to assume there will be more splatters to come, your highness?"

Tenshi couldn't keep the smile off her face when she watched Hane panic and then chuckle. She too pride in knowing she coaxed that reaction out of her dear friend, he did not do so often enough. Watching and listening on what to do when the soup boiled over, Tenshi smiled and shook her head. "Im sure im bound to do something else later on. Whether its more splatters or something else, I don't know. But thank you anyway." It was always enjoyable being allowed to work in the kitchen, despite her misfortune to muck up virtually everything she touched in one. Maybe after today, if she and Hane still had all their limbs she would ask him to teach her more about culinary arts, at least something simple, so she wasn't entirely useless in a kitchen alone. "How much longer will I need to watch over the soup? I do not wish to overcook it."

Hane floured his hands again to return to the dough, patting it around for a few more minutes. He then placed it in a tin, tucking it into the oven under the Queen and her pot of soup. The small Angel tilted to look up into the pot. "Hmmm..." Hane mumbled, poking a knife into one of the vegetables and pulling it out. The spices made the vegetables shine a golden yellow, and Hane gently tapped the potato before dropping it back into the pot. "It's all cooked, so we'll leave it to simmer, and wait for the bread." Hane washed his hands down, moving to a kettle and heating it up. It was well known amongst Angels how much their Queen loved Tea. So much so that cooks over the ages, along with herbalist, developed the ultimate Tea leaf. Called 'Tenshi Tea', for obvious reasons, it was something every kitchen was fitted with somewhere. Hane located the jar of white tea leaves, dropping a few into two cups. Whilst pouring, something came up in Hane's head that might draw out some conversation from the silence. "Your highness had a meeting with King Mo recently correct? If you pardon my curiosity, might I know what it was about? Other than the usual tea party."

Tenshi relished in the fact she caused a very minor kitchen problem, for once. And managed to help out without having anyone lose an impending limb and such. Her eyes lit up when she noticed Hane put on the kettle for tea. And using the blend created especially for her, it had the most delicious of tastes, and she often had to deliver some of the leaves to Mo. Tenshi's eyes dropped at the mention of her last meeting with Mo, it was something she wished to bury into the back of her mind... She couldn't exactly tell Hane everything that went on, for she did promise to keep certain aspects a secret... But she could trust Hane with the rest, he may even be ale to help with the problem. "We were discussing the Outlaws, and which Demons were causing Mo the most trouble... Akvan was the topic of interest, though I know others are important too." It still caused Tenshi to tear up with the whole Akvan issue, in all he was worthy of being an Angel, but Shinda was not. Though now she see's why Akvan was worthy of being an Angel, but that's something she wishes not to dwell on. "Im actually wondering if you would help find some Angels to keep an eye on certain Demons. Or let me know of anyone you think is worthy of taking up such a duty."

Hane huffed. Outlaws, a fancy name for murderous Demons. Minus a few exceptions of Angels being condemned. They were all trouble, and justified Hane's distrust of Demons. He knew a little of Demons, since Hane didn't really get to see much of Sohul's activity. This Akvan, Hane had heard a lot about him from rumours of other Angels. He wasn't the usual Demon, rather peculiar, and pitied by almost all Angels. Hane refused to see his Queen upset, handing her the cup of Tenshi Tea with a small cloth to wipe her eyes with. When Hane was given something close to a job, he nodded in a military way. "Of course, many pupils of mine show great promise. I can think of a few, my personal trainee, Kakushin. We have Takeo, a friend of mine. And many young Angels are currently being taught under my wing, they'd all have pride in looking over such dangerous activities." Hane moved over to the soup, to stir the sweet mixture as well as checking on the bread. "I'm still curious, your Highness. Why is this one, rarely kind hearted Demon being targeted when there are plenty other, more dangerous Demons running around Sohul causing chaos?"

Tenshi wiped her eyes and muttered a small thank you to Hane before taking a sip of her tea and breathing in the scent. It helped calm her just a little. "I shall be taking a visit to some of your next training sessions then as to see who I find fit for the job, next time you see Kakushin may you please ask him to keep an eye out on the Outlaws activities. Oh and we both shall be taking a trip down into Sohul soon, as to ask Takeo for his help too. I feel as if the ground help will be of great service. That, and I fancy seeing our good friend, its been far too long." Tenshi took a deep breath, this was not a conversation she wished to have so soon, even if it was more beneficial to get it over and done with. "Its not Akvan in himself. Its his split personality Shinda which Mo is concerned about... He fears that one day Shinda will finally take over his body and cause much more chaos then we can ever even dream off." Taking another long sip of her tea, Tenshi felt a weight lift off her shoulders, though a certain memory of that day still haunted her.

Hane knew what a sour topic this seemed to be for Tenshi. So he kept his distance on the specifics. The teacher nodded, "Of course, that free bird of a Guardian of Peace spends so long down on Sohul it's hard to tell where he truly resides. I even have speculations that he might be, involved, with someone down on Sohul." Hane replied, thinking back to the young Angel and his distracted mind. Kakushin always was a strange one. He was pure, kind hearted and a suitable peace-keeper. But he also acted far from the norm for an Angel, practically living down in Sohul and spending his time with all sorts of troublesome beings. Hane winced, he'd almost forgotten the planned visit he and the Queen were to take down to Sohul. Though, he did like the idea of meeting his ex-student. "Yes, it has. I would also like to meet with Takeo, there is a teacher-student honour I must uphold to, and therefore I'd like to make sure he isn't slacking off." Hane answered, going to collect two bowls for the soup. He watched with his wise, golden eyes as Tenshi debated on what she wanted Hane to know about this Demon, Akvan. Hane hadn't heard of a split-personality occurring like this before. "If it is getting this serious, surely we should be looking to capture this Demon, and not simply watch him?" Hane had, for past reasons, an ongoing distrust and spite towards Demons. Although he tried to consider them with an open-mind, he couldn't help but feel like the worst of them would be better served locked away. If chaos as bad as the Queen and King Mo feared, then making sure it didn't happen with a little force would be the best course of action.

Tenshi smiled at hearing Kaku having someone. After the loss of Itamu she knew something changed within the Guardian, though she never doubted her choice to make him Guardian of Peace, apart of her believed he only wanted it to appease Itamu, so knowing he was finally moving on in a way, made her feel very warm inside. "Well, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for him, to see if we can get a glimpse at this someone." Tenshi chuckled slightly when she saw Hane wince, she herself almost forgot of this trip, mind too occupied with recent events at Mo's. "I'll send a Angel down to let him know. We can get him to meet us in Baransu after our meeting. Which reminds me, it has not been me asked to speak... I was wondering if you would do the honours, I left it late so you would be more inclined to agree." Tenshi gave Hane a sly grin, she wished for him to speak, knowing she could trust no one more to do this honour, but if she gave him the choice earlier, part of her believed she would be finding someone else. Tenshi closed her eyes when the topic came back to Akvan, and she knew capture was the last thing she wanted. "Oh no, all we need to do is watch. Akvan is a beloved Demon, and I do not wish to see him locked away in a cage. But if things get bad, myself and Mo will resort to such actions."

The idea of his student finding someone wasn't something Hane could consider as nice as Tenshi or others could. Sure, he could see why they'd be happy, but for Hane, the teacher, all it was doing was distracting Kaku from his training. He had high hopes for that young Guardians future, and they did not exist when half of the goofy Angel's mind was somewhere else. But Hane kept his strict thoughts to himself. Hane almost spilt the soup when the Queen asked him to speak. The little Angel had to compose himself as to not speak so harshly to the Queen. "The... the meeting? I am required to speak?" Hane almost squeaked, "But those Human nobles consider me nothing more than a child, they see my size and think of me not fit to speak... on top of that I'm not a.... social person." The Angel sighed, pouring the soup into each bowl to govern his thoughts for a moment. It wasn't like the meeting would be hard. Humans were on the verge of forming a peace with Angels anyway, so it wasn't like Hane's speech to them would be that life changing. Hane eventually looked back to the Queen. "I suppose I am required to follow your command, although I will politely refuse to try and use 'childish, innocent charm' to win them over. It is simply embarrassing." Hane had his ears pierced about this Demon. He had gained the Angel's curiosity, and no doubt Hane himself would be keeping his eyes and ears out for news on this Akvan. "If that is your decision, then I am obliged to follow it, your Highness." Hane stated.

Tenshi knew Hane would not be jumping at the chance to speak, this being the reason behind waiting so long before asking him. She could not think of anyone so deserving of such a task, and despite his childlike looks, and his less than social ability, Tenshi still wished for her Guard, and more importantly friend to speak. "I do not wish for you to use such a charm. I am asking you, my friend, because I can trust what you say, and I cannot think of anyone else I would want to speak. I am asking you, to represent the Angels, because I know you are most deserving to do so. I do not care what the nobles think of you personally, because I know your fit to speak, and against it all, I trust you the most." Tenshi trusted all her children, but Hane was the one she trusted the most, not just because he was her personal guard either. Smiling towards Hane, Tenshi brought him into a hug. "If your really against doing so, I can always ask another. But I would be honoured if you accepted it, not just for me, but because you want to." Tenshi once again chuckled, she really needed to get it into Hane's head to call her Tenshi. "No more your majesty or your highness. You call me Tenshi from now on okay. And like I said I trust your opinion, if you think differently to me, don't hesitate to tell me."

Hane grumbled to himself, rather childishly. But to be fair, sometimes he felt like others just didn't know his situation. Even fellow Angels sometime jokes and teased the small Angel on his 'adorable' height issues, or cute looks. They normally ended bald, all with close shaves from Hane and his speed magic, but their words stayed with him. Now, Hane was a well matured and calm man, but some things got to him, and people mistaking his age was one of them. He never, ever told anyone else about it, perhaps Tenshi, but Hane wasn't an open Angel. And he never would be. Which was why the idea of talking for his race in front of young, naive Humans wasn't Hane's forte. The Angel relaxed though at the idea of having the Queen's faith, her trust. It was all Hane wanted really, that and her utmost safety. The hug was unexpected, and Hane wasn't eally used to them. He was relaxed, if a little awkward, in embracing her highness. Hane's eyes dropped as he truly calmed down. "No, it's fine... I suppose one day down in Sohul won't be the thing to kill me. And having your trust is all I require, your highness." Hane shook his head once out of the hug, moving to get out the special bread. "You are the one everyone looks up to. Apart from my few students, not many see my opinions to such insight... it is why I try to follow whatever your high- ummm, whatever you believe is right, Tenshi."

Tenshi smiled as Hane hugged back, it was rare for her to hug anyone, but Hane she would make an exception for on many occasions. Eventually letting him out the hug, Tenshi put a hand on his shoulder. "I respect your opinions, as do so many others Hane... You may not see it, but I do." Tenshi knew many looked up to her, living with Angels for so long, it was easy to tell how one thought about things... And her own opinions were one to be respected. But on many occasions, when Hane did give an opinion, she watched as her children shrugged it off in front of him... Just to respect It behind his back as much as one would do for her. "And thank you Hane, it is much appreciated. You wont be alone in the tower, I will be there to back you up. As will the Demon representatives. I know you will do all of Aura proud."
