Note: I assume this thread will just take place over the few days Akvan's back. We can just note any time-skips and such as we go The walk back seemed to take a long time. The sun was even beginning to rise by the time the dock town was in sight. Minato, still remained mostly unharmed by the war after a year. Akvan could barely keep his good eye open, but still used it to scan around Minato. The town was dead quiet to anyone else, many had cleared out to help in the war or escape it, but to Akvan, the noise around him was a symphony. Simple noises like the creaks of boats or washes of waves made him feel a little better as Tenshi helped him through the town. He'd done well to contain the amount of pain he was in during the long walk. Akvan's face felt like it was on fire, and his injured eye continued it's onslaught of pain each time Akvan's expression just dared to change slightly. Breathing was even hard, and Akvan knew he'd need to have the neck wound checked. It was healed and scarred now, but all of the time since receiving it, Akvan's breathing hadn't been right. He wheezed, rather than breathed, and talking felt like it released blood into his throat. It was safe to say he was certainly worse off than he'd been a year ago when arriving here. But Akvan tried not to care about his own injuries, as usual, and only hoped for the good health of those waiting at Nanari's house. Right now they were all still unaware Akvan was even out, or his condition at all. For a whole year it had been that way, and Akvan dreaded the idea of possibly making their hearts sink when they saw him like this. He'd put his hat back on, pulling it low over his sliced face as they got closer. He'd let Tenshi do any talking for now, focusing on just making sure he kept breathing normally, and remained awake. The dread still bubbled inside of Akvan, and the pained desire to see Chester was muffled by it. He just hoped once his working eye saw her, he'd feel better, and the fears of making them feel worse would pass.

Note: Having Nanari NPC for this thread, as all she is doing is some healing and a little bit of talking.
The walk to Minato was just as difficult as Tenshi suspected, but Akvan was holding out well, and she knew he would be okay in the end. Her friend was stubborn, and he had great healers there to help him get better. Tenshi never bothered to knock when entering Nanari's after the long trip to hers, and was quick to help Akvan lay on the sofa as she surveyed the damage caused fully. It was worse then she suspected at first, and unfortunately wasn't the sort of wound that looked worse then it was. They would have to put all they could into helping Akvan right now. Turning as Tenshi heard noises rush down stairs, she gave both Nanari and Chester a sad smile and gestured to Akvan. "Freak out after we have helped him. Breathing isn't brilliant, and Akvan has lost a lot of blood, and his legs are a needed fixing, alongside seeing if we can heal his eye so it still works. Chester get Tulus to get a hold of Ningen, get him working on making a new pair of legs, and then go grab water and supplies, I know you want to help your husband, but me and Nanari will need all the space we can get." Turning back around to Akvan, knowing Chester would listen for now, and that Nanari would have made her own evaluation on the situation, Tenshi began working out the worst of the damage. "Tenshi, Hane will be fine with the token Akvan made last time he was out of purgatory, use whatever magic you can to heal up his eye and other minor wounds. I will get his breathing back on track." Tenshi and Nanari worked almost mindlessly to help Akvan, healing what they could and covering what they couldn't or what could quickly heal on its own. It took a couple of tense hours to allow the magic to kick in, but they got there, not to the extent they would have liked, but enough for Akvan to easily survive. "Hey Akvan, breathing is back to normal, unfortunately, we couldn't save your eye, or heal enough to hide the scar... But you will live, and get better quite soon once you have some sleep..." It was enough for both Tenshi and Nanari, as they moved to finally let Chester see her husband. "Get some rest Akvan, you need it." Giving a small smile to Nanari, Tenshi made her way to the room Hane was staying in, planning to get her letter written and keep an eye on him. Nanari allowed both Chester and Tenshi to keep to themselves, as she hung around in the kitchen, planning to make a feast fit for a king ready for when Akvan got his rest.

The whole process seemed so sudden, and Akvan felt a little nervous. He continued his own silence, but being inside somewhere, with people around him, felt so different to what he'd known for a year. Akvan was grateful, but couldn't help but be a little stiff, staring weakly up to the others. Being led to the sofa, and then having the help to lie back against it, almost brought Akvan to fall asleep immediately. However, keeping his eye open long enough to spot Chester, a little spark of energy was given back to him. He'd almost forgotten how beautiful she was, if that was possible, and seeing her now made Akvan feel stupid for almost forgetting. Smiling slightly, Akvan turned to look to Nanari now, as she prepared to help Tenshi. "Nanari... s-sorry." Akvan mumbled, unable with his amount of exhaustion and the pain of his throat to explain what he was even sorry for. After that, he tried to remain the perfect patient, silence and unmoving. The relief from the healing magic made it so easy to almost fall asleep, but Akvan refused to do so just yet. As the hours passed, Akvan's face was as healed as it could be, and he tried opening his injured eye. The disappointment of seeing the world no differently with his eye open or closed made Akvan's mood drop for a moment, but he still tried to smile to the two above him. They'd done a great deal to help him recover, so Akvan would have to just get over his new handicap quickly in order to be grateful for what they'd done. "It's more than w-what I could have d-done alone.. thank you both, s-so much." Akvan muttered, watching them both leave in different directions. He was overwhelmed to see Chester again, with one eye or not, he felt a little blessed. Unable to move, and fearing he might be in trouble if he did, Akvan simply watched her with a teary eye and slight smile. "H.. hey."

Tenshi headed straight to Hane's room and politely kicked the occupants out, she wanted to be alone with him for a bit, and the remaining cats could go keep Nanari company. Collecting some paper and a pencil, Tenshi settled beside Hanes bedside, holding his hand and just watching him breath, scared that one day that would just stop completely. It was hard watching the 'indestructible' Hane sleep through a coma, it seemed so fake, and yet the pain was more then real. It was in here Tenshi allowed herself to cry over it all, she had to remain strong for the others outside, it was difficult, but doable, for their sake. "Hey Hane, another day where your not calling me your majesty or your highness despite no longer ruling... Or calling Kakushin an idiot and complaining about him not doing his job properly... God if you were awake now, maybe you could put some sense into his head, ha. This war is taking its toll, still haven't found the kids, we know where they are, just cant get to them, Ru and Kaku are still breaking down because of it... Akvan is back, finally, don't know for how long... Turns out he was fighting Shinda this whole time, the bastard, wanting nothing more right now then to alienate is boredom, and start a war for reasons I have yet to figure out. It would be easier if you woke up you know, set everything straight again you would..." Tenshi never knew what to say to Hane, when he wasn't commenting back, she resorted to explaining what was going on, hoping something would trigger him awake, be it Kaku losing his mind over the events, or Tenshi telling him to wake up... Just something, anything. She found nothing so far... Leaning up to leave a lingering kiss on his forehead, Tenshi leant back and began writing this letter for Shinda, so much to say, and yet she did not know the words to say it.
Shinda. All I ask is why are you doing this? Again? You know how things ended the last time, what you had to go through to get here today... Fighting a friend of mine for your sick enjoyment. Did it ever occur to you, your doing virtually what you did to me? But much, much worse. Trying to kill Akvan over and over again, just to send him back to his wife half dead... Someone who has lost their own child, has to watch as the man she is completely in love with almost dies before her eyes. Do you not remember that feeling with Sayo, as she lost her breath... Don't remember that feeling of losing someone you love. Cause you should, serves you right after everything you have done. The deaths, the pain, the suffering. I have to watch as Chester breaks because of what your doing, going down the same path I would have. Has that never occurred to you?
I hate you for everything you have done, and I will continue to do so with every fibre of my being. Everything is your fault, and don't go feeling smug about that... I want to kill you, and if I ever see you be afraid. Because im not going to do that, you deserve much worse. I will make you suffer in worse ways then you have already, strip you of your magic and send you back to purgatory with the memories of those who once loved and cared for you on your mind every, single god forsaken day. And I will forget you were ever family. I forgave you all those years ago. The death of my friends, the man I loved, my child. Because I know why you turned into that monster. But you have gone too far this time. And if Sayo was here right now begging me to forgive you for this, not even she would change my mind. Never forget that.
Tenshi.
Tenshi could feel the tears pouring down her face, she didn't want to hate Shinda, but knowing he started this war, was doing all this, was far too much. And she knew she could never forgive him a second time, before this, she was ready to give him that second chance if she ever found him, make him see there was a second chance at love and life... But he no longer deserved that, she damn well was going to make sure he knew. Folding the paper in half, and writing Shinda's name on it, Tenshi would give it to Akvan later, for now, she took hold of Hanes hand again, ignoring the tears on her face as she addressed him once more. "I wish you were awake Hane, its hard without you. It just seems like every time I have the chance to be happy and dare I say it, love again... Its just taken away, I guess in a way this is worse then last time... At least Rifi had a quick end, one that wasn't filled with too much pain, I loved him so much and I'm glad he didn't suffer for long... And now you... You here in a coma, fighting for your life and I'm left watching, hoping I can tell you these things when your able to comprehend them. Just wake up soon okay? I'm going to be here helping you recover every step of the way, but I cant do anything more until you open your eyes... Just please... Please."

The ringing never stopped. After hearing the bang of the gun, all Hane had heard since was the continuous ringing. He'd gotten used to it now, ignoring the pestering noise and just trying to focus on what was going on. Whether he was still alive or not. He'd concluded that he must be. Hane was no expert on guns, but he was certain through logical consideration that it was good to hear the gunshot. The last blast, before Hane had blacked out and fallen into this strange world of... nothing, he'd heard the shot. If this was death, then Hane would have simply dropped into it without hearing anything. It would have been blissful and sudden, what Hane was experiencing was nothing of the sort. Dreams just seemed to go on forever, Hane's mind trying to recollect what had happened in the past for no reason that Hane could think of. What worried him was that each recollection had less in it. Like his memories were sand, and he was trying to keep them all secure in his hands. He'd forgotten so much already, apart from the gunshot, Hane couldn't even remember where he'd been when it all happened. The only thing keeping Hane from seeing these dreams as some sort of eternal nightmare was the life going on around him. Thanks to the voices he could still hear above the ringing, Hane knew of his situation. It was both comforting and devastating. Hane was in a coma, forced to remain in a frozen state whilst the world Hane could barely remember at this point was thrown into chaos. The only thing comforting him was that, those he cared most about were still alive, and he heard their voices often. And he was alive, with the chance and determination to wake up from this. Hane was in another dream state when he was jolted awake, or at least jolted mentally, since he couldn't move. Someone's hand folded into his, and after hearing their quiet cries, and words, Hane recognised who it was. How Hane longed to wake up for Tenshi's sake, and Kaku's sake. Being in this state for so long know, only hearing of how they felt and being able to do little about it made Hane feel more. He'd started to long to meet them, even his old student, just to see them again and try and help. Helping was what Hane had lived for, and now he could do nothing but rely on others. It was a harsh reality Hane was currently in, that he hated more than his damaged mind could really handle. After a while, Tenshi went quiet, though Hane still felt her close by. He tried gathering thoughts in the meantime, thinking on what Tenshi said and trying to make sure he remembered it this time, rather than letting his memories fade like usual. Tenshi spoke again, and Hane as usual could only listen. Unable to even let Tenshi know he could hear her. And from what she said to him, something that if Hane was awake, would make his face flush red like it did against his will, led Hane to believe Tenshi didn't know he could hear. Such words should feel preposterous, but right now they made the comatosed Angel feel.. happy. However, the happiness was overshadowed by knowing he couldn't respond. Not twitch a finger or an eyelid. Hane could do nothing but lie there and listen. And as the room fell silent, perhaps just to please his own sanity, Hane pretended as though his thoughts could be heard. 'Tenshi, it pains me to cause you such suffering, and every day I will fight, as hard as this old Royal Guard can, to try and wake up. Because I'd like to express my own opinions, and my own... admiration for you.'

Chester did exactly what was asked of her, despite wanting nothing more then to cuddle up with Akvan and make sure he was alive. She didn't get to see him properly, but Chester knew it was bad, and with the way Nanari and Tenshi sounded, Chester didn't want to take any chances and get in the way. She hoped Tulus would get to Ningen, and that he could help Akvan once more, if he had to go back in there badly handicapped... Well, Chester knew things wouldn't go Akvan's way, and he had been gone too long already. Sitting as close to the sofa as she dared watching the two work to heal her husband, Chester buried her face between her knees and let silent tears fall, body shaking. The hours felt like days, fear that Akvan was too far gone to help plaguing her mind every second. Jumping when the two spoke, Chester was quick to wipe away her tears and sit with Akvan, slowing threading her fingers through his hair, just being able too look at his face. Giving him a small smile, Chester made a mental note to thank the others later once he's had some sleep, for now, she just wanted some time. "Hey yourself. You had me worried there you know. Its been far too long without you, but I'm glad your back, hopefully it will be longer then last time..." Leaning down, Chester left a lingering kiss on his lips before moving so she was laying next to him. "Get some sleep, we'll talk when you wake up, and I wont leave your side." As long as she could share his warmth, and feel his breath on her face, Chester didn't mind how they spent their time together.

Lying down for two hours made all of Akvan feel stiff, he moved only slightly when Chester came over, no longer able to do more. Not at least until he'd slept for a little while. But Akvan's eyes refused to close until he'd spoke to Chester, heard her voice so that it might remain and comfort him enough into sleep that he wouldn't remain restless and prone to nightmares. "S-sorry.. I was.." Akvan began, glancing towards Chester's abdomen for a second, before looking elsewhere. "I-I was determined to f-finish it this time." He answered, before feeling the heat of Chester's lips against his. It was like he'd never been kissed before, Akvan's sharp intake of breath and frozen body was enough proof of that. It was perhaps tragic to think he'd been so long without affection that he'd begun to forget how it felt, but also, even a simple kiss like this was now heavenly to the Sun child. Akvan smiled a little less weakly afterwards, trying to move a little more to allow Chester next to him. Like a light, Akvan gave into sleep, making sure one arm rested around Chester, locked into her hand to make sure he couldn't lose her when dreaming. And for once, he didn't have a nightmare-filled sleep. Not at first. Akvan's sleep was full of colours, no specific images or events, just colours and noise. It remained that way blissfully for quite a while, but when it changed, it changed suddenly. The colours were ripped apart by four claw marks, and the uncanny resemblance to Shinda's last attack on Akvan made him wake. He didn't jolt awake, opening his eyes slowly, and breathing relatively normally. The room was rather dark, lit by a few candles and lights made of magic. It must be dark outside, and after Akvan glanced down to the resting Chester next to him, he closed his eyes to hopefully return to sleep. But there was a quiet rustle, and a noise Akvan's now selective ears picked up as something sinister. It sounded like the hissing laughter of Akvan's enemy, and it made his eyes jump open, panicking as with his new weakened vision, he couldn't see around for the source. Akvan panicked, assuming Shinda was lurking around somewhere in the room, waiting to strike Akvan in his blind-spot. In the corner of his vision, Akvan saw something spiky, assuming it was Shinda's brutal tail. He rolled off the sofa, landing and breaking one leg, before pointing a hand towards the shadow he'd seen. "G..gladio!" Akvan commanded, summoning a golden sword near his hand and sending it hurtling towards the shadow. Knelling against the sofa, Akvan's terrified eyes didn't leave what he'd thought was Shinda, only speaking back to Chester. "S-stay there, h-he might still a-attack." Akvan ordered towards her, the confidence in his words altered by his shivering body, and how terrified Akvan was to think that that unforgiving psycho might be in the room with him and his wife. Akvan was far from calm, far from being fixed, and he still stared towards the table and broken vase, once holding fresh and growing healing herbs and assuming it was his nemesis.

Chester watched Akvan for a bit, just to assure herself that he was really there, before falling asleep herself, having not slept properly since Akvan's last return. But when she did manage to close her eyes, for once it was just a blank endless void of black, her mind finally rested enough to give proper sleep now she was with Akvan. But the sleep didn't seem to last long as she felt Akvan stir, blinking in confusion as she heard him speak, it took a few moments for it to make sense in her mind, as she jumped from the sofa and onto her feet to help her husband... Just to find nothing there. Blinking in confusion over to Akvan's sudden fear, and the frightened mess he managed to cause, Chester gave a small smile to him before slowly grabbing him and locking their fingers together. "There's nothing there Hun. It was nothing but a nightmare, shh, calm down, Shinda's not here, no one but who you already know... Come on Hun, calm." Bringing Akvan's face so it was looking at her own, Chester hoped he calmed enough to see Shinda wasn't there. "Look at me, only me, okay? Don't worry about anything else right now..."

The fact that Akvan only had half of his vision frustrated him the most. He knew Shinda was using it to his advantage, using the accidental wound as a blind-spot to hide in, sneak around Akvan and cause the Sun child to panic. He could just hear the monster laughing, that horrible, wicked laughter that when Akvan usually heard it, made the man quiver in fear. Of all the times Akvan had been hiding in Purgatory, hearing Shinda's harsh laughter was enough knowledge that Akvan had been trapped, and usually, a whole lot of pain was insured soon afterwards. Akvan's eye was fixed on the shadow in the corner of the room, just waiting for Shinda to pop out. He knew the sword wouldn't be enough, only Joyeux could penetrate Shinda's tough scales, and that was resting by the sofa. So Akvan debated what magic he could use to get Shinda out of the dark, without destroying too much of the house. For now, Akvan summoned a little ball of sunlight, sending it into the corner. He was so phased out, lost in his own fear that Akvan had almost forgotten everything else around him. When the light lit up the dark corner, revealing nothing but a broken table and vase, Akvan's eye widened, and this time he went stiff out of the realisation of his mistake. Around the same time, Chester's hand tied round his, pulling the Sun child out of his foggy mindset. Akvan still breathed hard, looking from Chester to all around him, his good eye moving very quickly to make up ground now. "H-he must be here.. h-hiding somewhere. He's a-always, hiding." Akvan mumbled, swallowing before continuing his dribble of words. "One moment it's a-all quiet, a-and y-you get to s-stop r-running. Th-thinking it's b-better, but n-no. Heh, heh heh, n-no, he's st-still th-there. Just w-waiting t-to hurt y-you." Akvan claimed, holding onto his eye as he felt a ghost pain from it, simply remembering how he'd got the damage in the first place. Akvan took a few breaths, features beginning to calm down, enough for Akvan to smile weakly, lifting a hand up to brush Chester's cheek. "I-I a-always worry Ch-chester, about y-you. Wh-when... if I-I'll s-see y-you again. H-he makes me w-worry every m-moment. I n-n-need to kill him, i-if Shinda is d-dead we can b-be together. But I'm w-weak, and I keep f-failing. Chester, I'm s-sorry."

Chester hated how Shinda was turned into this worried mess, how her husband couldn't even get a good sleep in without the worry Shinda would be there to attack, that when even out of Purgatory, Shinda was able to get to him. It made Chester furious, and she knew there was nothing she could do about it, and that was the worse thing about all of this... That she couldn't help. Smiling softly to the other, Chester brought Akvan into a huge hug to help him calm down, moving her fingers through his hair and stopping every few seconds to scratch the back of his neck calmingly. "Your still alive, still here... That doesn't make you weak, it makes you very strong, no need to apologise for something that's not your fault. And Shinda's the kind of person who has endless tricks up his sleeve and doesn't play fair, you cannot blame yourself for anything bad happening with people like that. And I always worry for you as well." Seeing as Chester had never fought Shinda herself, only met him briefly, it was difficult to judge exactly what he was like, but she had heard the stories, seen what he can do, and it was obvious he never played fair, and had things to use against Akvan, it was just a matter of when the other was going to play his cards.

Akvan wanted to kick himself, he didn't want the haunting of his time in Purgatory to change how things were here. He should be happy here, with his wife and his family, but Shinda just wouldn't allow that. The Devil was probably far away, curing his own injuries and nothing else. And yet, Akvan seemed so convinced Shinda was still chasing him, even now. Akvan hoped it would go away, if a year could turn him into a psychological state like this, Akvan didn't want to think of what the future would be like. He always needed to apologise, there had been a time during the start of the year that Akvan would mentally ask for forgiveness. Knowing each day away must be hell for the others. "I just, w-want it to be over. He's t-taken so much of my l-life already. Th-the life I g-gave to you." Akvan mumbled, relaxing against Chester, and returning the hug. He'd try to relax, force himself to forget about Purgatory for now, knowing he'd only cause more grief if Akvan's lack of sanity and hallucinations were made known to the others. "W-with... with the time I have, I-I want to know, everything. I-I want to know how you've been, Chester. A-and the others. I know it m-might make things h-hard when I go, but please, t-tell me."

Chester gave Akvan a small smile, bringing him close to her. "I want it to be over too, but you shouldn't get mad at yourself if you cant beat him right now, I can tell he's not easy to fight, and its enough right now that you are alive... As long as it stays that way, I know one day you'll come back to me, I cant lose you as well." And Chester knew he wouldn't die on her, he promised, and she knew Akvan wouldn't break such a promise not after everything that has happened... She was willing to wait for him, as long as he did manage to come back. Dropping her gaze at the mention of the other and how things have been, Chester moved him over to the sofa and gestured for him to get comfortable, she wouldn't skip out on the truth, and she knew he might need to be sitting for this. "Honestly, its not been good for anyone. Me, its tough, with everything, the loses, the time away, its just hard... And everyone else, Hada and Labari are going strong, doing what they can to help, Labari safe from others knowing what she is... Even on pretty good terms with some of the Saints... Ru is finding things tough, but bearable, joking around all the time to keep spirits up, but I know its breaking him inside... Nanari overworked, but safe... Tenshi spends most time either looking for Shinda or with Hane... My niece and Nephew are still missing, but being kept alive thanks to Jasper... Kaku... Kaku isn't doing so well, haven't seen or spoke to him in months, and when I do, its only a glance, he's breaking. Gensho is with Yume, his Kyuban blood trying to take hold, but he's been kept in line so far... Everyone else, barely see them, either in hiding, or well you know."

Akvan knew war wasn't fun, it made scars on people that dug more than on their skin, but on their minds and souls. It changed people into beings unlike their usual selves, Akvan saw it every day in Purgatory, watching the silent ghosts of the living around him as he fought Shinda. Akvan took a breath, taking it all in before responding. "The Mun clan is fine. I-I see it through P-purgatory. No doubt Z-zuura isn't taking part in the w-war." Akvan stated, hoping to give his wife at least one positive thought at least. Akvan was so glad to see the clan each time he passed it in battle, knowing Zuura must be doing all he could to keep the Angel and Demons members safe and happy, as well as help any others who approached the clan. Akvan tried not to take the news too bad, inside it killed him to think of those like his brother, fighting off such horrible urges. He'd keep up appearances for Chester here. So Akvan reached a hand up, brushing Chester's cheek. "I-I here now as w-well, for a little while at least. I'd like to g-go see everyone, once I-I can. And t-together you and me can t-try and help them, al-alright?" Akvan leaned forward to kiss Chester quickly, before pointing a finger up with another thought on his mind. "A-a-and no saying I s-should rest. I p-promise to r-reserve my magic, b-b-but that doesn't mean I-I can't go and talk t-to the others, right?"

Chester was glad the Mun Clan was fine, she had only heard snippets from Labari and Hada in their few visits about it. No doubt one of Labari's friends at the Saints helping to leave the Clan alone, if Chester's memory served her correctly. And she was glad Zuura was keeping out of the war, it wasn't a great place, and the members had seen too much already, them helping who they could was more then enough. Giving Akvan a small smile as he brushed her cheek and gave a small kiss, she knew it was hurting him inside this information, it would anyone, but they were handling things pretty well, besides Kaku who she hoped her brother was keeping in line for now, as she couldn't find him to help. She was about to complain about Akvan needing rest, but her open complaint turned into a light chuckle instead. "You know me too well. And no, that doesn't mean you cant talk to the others... Hell, I want you too, they all miss you almost as much as I have. But at least rest for now, catch up with sleep, have new legs fitted... We can get people here before we travel around finding them. Hada and Labari can come here, Zuura I'm sure we can steal away for a bit. Ru and Kaku a bit more difficult as one is trying to stay away from everyone, and the other is one of the big bosses of the war... Gensho, Gensho we will have to visit once you have legs again... His Kyuban blood isn't making things easy, and Yume's place is the safest bet for now, but we'll get word to him that your back." The war made things like this difficult to decide on how things can go, but for Akvan, they would work around it. "Naturally, Nanari and Tenshi will be here along with me the entire time, now that Tenshi knows where Shinda is."

Magic wise, Akvan thought there was so much he could do to contain this war. He could help the others win their battles, make sure there weren't casualties, or even rebuild part of Aura for the Angels to stay. But, that strength was needed for Akvan himself to use. It felt selfish to think of it that way, but it was truth. Without his full strength, Akvan couldn't win against Shinda, and until Shinda was beaten, the war would continue to rage on. He'd used his magic once, and that left Akvan with no healing powers during his fights. It left him half-blind and scarred, and although Akvan wouldn't hesitate to give his healing magic up for the others over and over again, he knew he couldn't give any more up so easily. Akvan could do his best by talking, reassuring them that he was doing all in his power to make sure war didn't get worse, and that if they continued to survive like they were doing, Akvan would bring them a brighter future, war-free. A big promise to give, but Akvan hoped it would at least comfort some of the others. Akvan smiled to Chester's suggestions, his wife's words were ones he always listened to, and almost always followed. "Sleep didn't g-go all to well. I got a-a bit, can't we just l-leave it at that?" Akvan asked, smiling softly to Chester, but hiding the fear he had of experiencing another nightmare or hallucination. "I'll have t-to wait for the legs th-though." Akvan added, leaning down to unlock the one broken in half. Akvan thought more on his brother, glancing to Chester with a thought, before finally letting them out. "I'm m-most w-worried about my brother. If he knows I-I'm here, he might c-come over, h-hopefully he's n-not too badly eff-effected." Akvan stated, remembering the time where he, looking through Shinda's control, attacked Gensho and gave his brother that very curse he was currently suffering from. The Sun child thought about Nanari and Tenshi, and Hane upstairs. "Is the t-totem still w-working?" Akvan asked, wondering what the fate of his last gift was, if it had to be used yet or not.
