Note: Takes place immediately after this thread: ' What other reason is there?'On this final night of nightmares, Akvan was just starting to believe that Chester really was in good hands. Not that he didn't trust the two Kings when they promised to keep her safe, just that there was no predicting what might happen in the Dream world. Akvan was just starting to relax a little, since none of the four in Chester's team seemed to look injured far into the night, but then even the slightest movement got Akvan concentrating again. Chester's head seemed to jump up for a moment, before a distinct spurt of blood came from her mouth. That initiated everything that happened next, the others woke up, but Chester remain comatosed, and receiving more and more injuries. The Sun child was up quickly, looking for an answer to this, whilst his mind would not panicking and causing his chest to seize up. He didn't dare touch her, fearing he might flare her injuries up, but Akvan did stare down at Chester, begging her eyes to open. "Chester! Wake up, please!" Stomach torn, and face pale, Akvan silently got up to move to Yume, demand some sort of answer from her. But the Guardian of Dreams spoke up herself, after releasing everyone else from their dreams. The little patience left in the Sun child as he listened was soon destroyed. He despised Yume's tone, and the harsh truth she spoke of. Akvan's head was lowered, mop of pink-ish hair covering his watered eyes. "Shut up..." Akvan muttered, a voice drier and harsher than it had ever been before. "Don't you dare say she might die! I... I won't allow it!" He spat, looking up to Yume now. His breathing gradually lightened, though the fury in Akvan's eyes was still there. No doubt everyone was simply staring, some perhaps shocked that he was talking back to Yume like this. But Akvan didn't give a damn, his temper was just as bad as Yume's was now, if not worse. And when a Sun child was angry, the sheer aura emitting from Akvan now was similar to the time he'd destroyed half a castle out of rage. So it was safe to assume, no one planned on going near him. Silence was enough to get Akvan at least thinking again, instead of using empty threats and refusals. "Send me in." Akvan finally said, "Send me into the Dream world, Yume. If you can't, then I'll send myself in by copying your magic... I don't care what consequences there are, I'm getting Chester out... And I'm going to end Mitasu." Akvan waited for Yume's answer, considering she might be able to add a plan to Akvan's goal before the Sun Child did so independently.

Yume hardened her gaze and stalked towards Akvan, it seemed he needed things to be said more harshly, if only to have him see the full effects of this. She didn't fear him, not in the slightest, and she was fully prepared for whatever he threw her way. Her eyes widened a fraction at the mere thought of sending him in, she could do so, and knew that he was capable of a fight, but there was more to this, then he probably realised. Grabbing Akvan by his clothes, Yume brought his face close, fixing him a glare. "Listen here, and listen well. I have no problems sending you in, consequences be damned, I know you can handle it. But you need to think things through the anger you have. Its not going to be easy sending you in, and when I do, I cant control any of that world, you will be alone in there. Mitasu cannot be killed in that world, her body cannot be destroyed... You want in? You want revenge? The only way is to find where she's hiding, and if my suspicion is correct, she would have taken Chester someplace she knows best." Yume released Akvan and took a step back, rubbing her temples. Something like this wouldn't be easy, and getting Chester out even harder, but Yume agreed to help, and that's what she would give. She could only hope she was strong enough to hold it. "Because of what you are, you cannot allow Mitasu to get on over you, I will lose the link, and you will be stuck too. Distract Mitasu long enough, and I can regain control of Chester and bring her straight out... Don't expect her to know you in there, I had her long enough for her to know what's going on, now she's just sleeping, do you understand me? Her mind may be dead on the other side, until I regain control..."

Yume's dominance and aggression wasn't something many could handle, though it was hardly a surprise that Akvan didn't react to her assault, even returning the glare to her. Akvan expected more from her conditions, he was fine with all that was given. Right now, he didn't have the remaining urge to care about danger, so long as it was only directed at himself. Simply nodding to the conditions, Akvan calmed down a little. It was almost good that Mitasu couldn't die. Akvan's lack of control in situation before led him to do terrible things, almost killing others. Knowing he could install as much of his anger into Mitasu and the Dream world she was in without affecting this real one, was good new to Akvan. He was glad Yume accepted, it would be harder to accomplish alone, with only a few minutes to enter the dream and sort things out. With Yume's help, Akvan knew everything he hoped to accomplish would be done. He'd not only save Chester, and take what revenge on Mitasu that he could, but make sure the nights of suffering the others had gone through wasn't for nothing. They'd learn Mitasu's location, Akvan was also determined to get that, albeit not his primary concern right now. "You just focus on Chester, and make sure she's cared for once out. And... I don't plan on losing anything to Mitasu." Akvan replied, looking for a place to sit, and finding one back next to Chester's bed. He went silent, unable to rest properly as he waited, for some sort sign from Yume that he could begin.

Yume gave a light nod to Akvan, she knew he would get what was needed done in this mind set, so she had no worries sending him in. It was Mitasu she worried about, knowing she must have something planned for whoever went searching for her. Looking to the others, Yume gave all a nod. "Healers be ready to tend to Chester, keep those most worried out the way though, it may be worse fro her until we find out what Mitasu has done. Akvan will be going in, I will need the utmost silence and concentration for this, so I suggest doing nothing." Yume made her way to Akvan, taking a breath and sitting close by for better link. "When you go in, I wont have control of the land, Mitasu may use Chester against you, and I will be a little while getting that link back, the second I do, she will leave, so keep an eye out for that moment. Now, I suggest laying comfortably, we don't have that long left to achieve all we need to do, so work quick." And with that, Yume closed her eyes, and sent Akvan into the world. Everything was up to him now, and she hoped this worked.

He didn't act like it right now, but Akvan was grateful for Yume's help. He'd snapped, and she wasn't the type to usually put up with that kind of thing. But she was going along with it all regardless. Maybe back in his right mindset, Akvan would thank her properly, right now wasn't the time though. He remained silent, nodding to Yume's final instructions, and looking to those in the group he recognised most. They seemed worried, for Chester and Akvan, Though there was a look of determination on their faces as well, a silent request to Akvan to do what he could in the Dream world. Akvan had to admit, the idea of Mitasu trying to use Chester against him in some way did get Akvan's confidence a little shaken. But, he didn't plan on letting anything in the nightmare get to him, he wouldn't give Mitasu a chance to react, let alone plot against him. He'd plan on getting Mitasu out of the way, and Chester under protection whilst Yume remade the link. Depending on Chester's condition, Akvan was also thinking of perhaps using a new use of Solaris magic he'd discovered. It was a healing magic, though hadn't been used yet. He'd decided whether to use it or not when inside, all Akvan could do now is wait for Yume to send him in to begin with, so he could discover for himself the nightmares that had plagued the others these past few nights. Closing his eyes soon after Yume, like others described, it was as if the world around Akvan disappeared. Not something completely new to the Sun child, after experiencing something similar when with the Sun Goddess. Once he felt able to open his eyes again, Akvan was in a completely different place, standing in some desolate, rocky wasteland that if a little redder, could be mistaken for Dranar. In a place so open, and empty of all but two other souls, it didn't take the Sun child long to locate what could only be Mitasu and Chester, witnessing himself the kind of scene he never wanted to see again.

Mitasu hadn't had so much fun in a long time, then when she got to beat up Chester, the woman too strong with this for her own good, and responsive enough to know what was happening, but nothing more. It gave the Demon so much power. But she felt a shift in the air, and knew someone was coming in, and coming alone. Sitting on a rock above Chester, a rope around her neck and held tight in Mitasu's hands, she could have given off the impression of meditation, when Akvan arrived. Now, Mitasu was slightly scared of this visitor, once realising what he was, having faced enough of them. but she had survived so far, and she wasn't about to let him win, and its not like he could kill her. "Hello, Akvan. Pleasure for you to join us." Mitasu pulled a little on the rope, effectively chocking the girl a little, and holding it there. "We were just getting to the best part of the evening, if you care to join us." Mitasu held on a little longer, before loosening the rope allowing Chester to breath once more. "My apologies, this must be a case of Deja Vu for you, but doesn't that make it all the more fun? You seem tense, come take a seat." Mitasu noticed Chester healing once more, giving off a pained whimper as she healed, smirking softly, Mitasu moved and kicked her in the head, sending Chester flying to the group. "I said, no noise. Dear pets never listen do they?"

Note: Look here: Akvan's Magic for help following all his attacks. The only other times Akvan had really acted without proper thought was when destroying Exitium's castle, and when training with Zuura and losing himself. He stared in silence, a terrifying silence, at what Mitasu did to Chester. Her voice, it sounded eerily similar to another's, someone who'd also felt the rage the usually timid Akvan had boiling up inside. Every piece of her voice, Akvan just wanted to tear it into nothing. The joy to Mitasu's voice as she abused the closest person to Akvan was enough to throw any idea Akvan had about controlling himself away. He'd not harm Chester, but other than that, this fake world was doomed. Akvan's eyes caught the subtle colour of Mitasu's soul, and it could have made Akvan smile. "You're afraid..." He muttered, hardly audible to Mitasu, "Not... afraid enough." Speaking was over when Mitasu decided to kick Chester's head. Akvan's teeth clenched, before he took action. Allowing magic to charge up in one hand, a small sun to slowly grow in power as Akvan used the other to conduct everything else. He'd still rely on chants, not so far gone as to let his magic take full control. "Ventus." Akvan chanted first, firing the invisible line of magic towards the rope Mitasu had Chester tied to. "Furtum." Akvan next said, pointing towards Chester, the magic obeyed, and a clean wall of gold coiled itself around Chester, forming some sort of transparent globe. That part set, not a second later, Akvan held his hand out to Mitasu, "Unda." Akvan summoned, and rather than appear around him, the ring of gold water sprouted from the ground around Mitasu, firing up into the air. He'd not need to worry about any collateral damage to Chester. Thanks to Furtum's power, any magic, even Akvan's, was cancelled before passing through it. The golden water may have harmed Mitasu, if some of it touched her, but that wasn't the main goal. "Umbra." Akvan cast next, sending golden shadows from around his feet, at the moment of chance, they'd tie themselves around Mitasu's leg, attempting to throw her further from Akvan and Chester. With all the sudden magic, Akvan made sure to make his way to be closest to Chester, no matter how Mitasu reacted to his magic advance.

Mitasu was afraid, not long ago did she experience what a Sun Child could do, and she could tell this one was just as strong as the others. But that didn't mean she wouldn't have her fun, it never stopped her before this fear, she wouldn't let it consume her now. But this magic he was using was like nothing she had seen before, let alone chanting the name, flying away from the two, Mitasu already felt her control over Chester diminish, whatever around her helping with that, growling Mitasu wouldn't go without the best fight she could give. Keeping what link she could to Chester, Mitasu allowed herself to disappear a moment, turning up behind Akvan. She couldn't face him in a fair fight, but she would damn well get in whatever psychological wounds she could before he got a hit in. "Its such a shame she has to go through this again. How many times is this now?" Smirking, Mitasu quickly moved again, her link to Chester getting weaker because of this, but worth it if her desired effect worked. "Has letting her get tortured ever worked out for you in the end? What makes you think things are going to be okay in the end. "Besides, I cant wait until they are born Sun Child, it'll be fun breaking your mind even more when I get a hold of them..." Mitasu felt the last bit of her control leave Chester due to whatever the Sun Child did, and knew her rival was at the ready waiting to take it back. But not all was lost despite this. Now, she could focus on the Sun Child, and blocking anything sent at her while she tried to escape, and have a long chat with Mo about this Sun Child.

Furtum was doing it's job well, Akvan was glad he'd taken what time he could to learn even the non-violent magic that he possessed. It cancelled all magic, allowing only what Akvan let it allow to pass through. It was forcing the evil magic talons of Mitasu to let Chester go, so that Yume could gently take their place and get Chester out. Akvan wasn't messing around, this was why he had no hesitation when going into the Dream world. Akvan could give Mitasu some credit, the fact that her link to Chester wasn't cut off immediately meant that this Demon witch was strong, and not someone taken out so soon. But, the fact that she wasn't giving in, meant she had the chance to try and aggravate Akvan even more. Hearing her voice behind him, and clenching his fist to her words, Akvan turned around quickly. "Gladio." He summoned, trying to cut Mitasu with the sun sword as he turned, though missing as she dodged. He wondered what was taking Yume so long, Akvan could have all of this finished if the Dream woman just did her job. Though, he supposed, just keeping the powerful Sun Child here was tough enough. He tried to distract himself from Mitasu's words, not letting anything to do with this torture get to him. Yes, it was the third time now Akvan had to watch helplessly as Chester was hurt, and he'd not let there be a fourth. No matter the costs. Akvan had convinced himself of that in his head, and planned to ignore Mitasu's words from now one, but she moved along to something else. "B...born?" Akvan muttered, blinking a few times. Mitasu couldn't mean that surely. It was beyond impossible, just a flicker of hope the couple had had a little while ago. Chester being a Demon, and Akvan being a thing that was hardly living, there was no possibility of children being born. So Akvan blinked a few times, spotting Mitasu move and getting his head back into the fight. "Umbra." He cast again, sending the golden shadow to hold onto Mitasu this time. "No, you're lying... There's no way something like that is even possible." Akvan stated, glancing to the side as Chester was finally taken out of the Dream world. That was good, now Akvan could wrap this up, before Mitasu tried to trick him with anymore lies. "Stop trying to distract me, monstrous witch. Tell us where you're hiding." Akvan ordered, though didn't look for a reply. This place they were fighting at, it did catch Akvan's attention now that he could relax with Chester safe. It looked like a real place in Sohul, not one Akvan recognised, but a place that could exist. Akvan could have smirked, "It's here... isn't it?" He stated over to Mitasu, not caring for a response.

Mitasu smirked despite the fact she was losing. She was getting to this Sun Child, she could tell, and this little revelation was icing on the cake right now. Making sure she was out of range of attacks, Mitasu felt the link diminish, and watched as her play thing left, not all bad in her mind, it meant she could focus on other things, and hopefully break the other before they found her, as they had been trying. "Children have their own call for dreams, a recently conceived one even more so, as life starts young. Sun Children, even more so due to their unique life. Its not hard to tell. Though, I do wish I got rid of the dear thing while I had the chance, I can feel the worry in the air, alongside the joy of the thought alone. And it is possible dear Sun Child, your kind is much different from the others after all." Mitasu smirked when he seemed to realise this is where she was hiding, she herself not really knowing where this area was, all she knew was Mo came to her, and she had remained in the same place since. "Finally the truth is revealed. I'll eagerly await your arrival, it'll will be a joy seeing you all in person. Especially Tenshi." Which remained her, there was a very special message needed sent. "Do me a favour Sun Child, a message to Tenshi. Tell her, I'm sorry to hear for her loses, but my dear boss needed them out the way... And I hope she doesn't mind, but her beloved is all ready for a fight, seeing how I cant face everyone alone." Mitasu gave a laugh, before awaiting Akvan's inevitable Attack.

Mitasu knew her fair share about Sun children, though thinking harder about, Akvan could guess why. Tenshi said Mitasu was from her time, when Sun Tears were being harvested and used as weapons. No doubt Mitasu had witnessed their powers before, it explained why she still showed fear when seeing Akvan and his powers. The concept of a living weapon created by a deity to have living children of their own seemed impossible, and Akvan refused to allow himself to believe Mitasu. As good as she was at getting at people, he refused to let her break him. But she did get some reaction from Akvan. If this little child really did exist inside of Chester right now, then Akvan felt even more furious by Mitasu's claims. He'd never let her destroy such a miracle as that. "I will not believe your words Mitasu... but... if by some impossible chance it is true, then thank you. For sparing them... since you won't get a chance to ever go near Chester again, let alone touch or harm her." Akvan stated, holding out his other hand, which in all this time had been charging up an attack. Before he released it though, Akvan did give Mitasu a last chance to talk, hearing out her message. It got Akvan almost shivering, to think that whatever Mitasu said had something to do with Tenshi. And it sounded like Tenshi had a fair share of suffering in the past, and that something big was coming as well. He didn't like the message, but still nodded his head. "She'll get it, now disappear witch. I won't let you cause any more suffering like this again." Akvan said, his hand itching to release the magic. "Maximum Flamma." Akvan cast. What was usually a small range fire attack, when charged to it's greatest strength, had the burning power of a whole sun. The instant Akvan released it, every inch of the Dream world around him that had given the others such horrors over the last few nights was engulfed in golden flames. Only a small area around Akvan's feet remained, and the world around him was indiscriminately torn apart by the flames, leaving nothing to remain. Mitasu was gone, preparing herself to be faced in a fight that would finally get rid of her for good. So Akvan was left in silence. Taking a breath, Akvan looked up, "Yume, it's finished, and I know where Mitasu is hiding." Akvan muttered, hoping the Guardian of Dreams heard him, or else the crater that was once the Dream world should send a good enough message that things were done here.

The second Yume connected with Chester she got her out of there, ordering the others to make sure she was being healed and sorted, before listening into the rest of what was happening. Eyes widening at what Mitasu said before looking into it herself. Yume finding the same thing. Taking a breath, Yume knew she needed to get Akvan out of there as soon as she could to conserve strength, and when looking around the area, she had a good guess that she knew where Mitasu was hiding. Finding the irony of it slightly amusing. Mitasu's message also reached her, and Yume felt a shiver down her spine, only guessing what it could be, knowing what Tenshi dreams about. Before laughing as the world was completely destroyed. Getting Akvan out of there, Yume was quick to get up and head over to Chester, looking to the healers, and then to the newly awoken Akvan, giving him a light nod. "Chester isn't the only one we are caring for here... Be extra careful with her stomach, and make sure nothing happened..." Yume knew the healers would understand, Tenshi especially. Moving out the way for Akvan, Yume let him have a few moments, before turning to the others, day upon them. "We know where she is hiding, Akvan, I know this must be difficult, but we will need you to fight... Especially if that message is as bad as I think..."

Akvan could almost feel Yume's magic pluck him out of the void he'd created, falling back to find himself waking up in the clan. Still sat on the chair next to Chester, Akvan had to blink a few times to register that he'd woken up. As soon as he'd shaken any grogginess away, Akvan's attention was straight to Chester. She was looking better already, mind and body finally connected again, and healers doing a good job. Akvan let out a sigh of relief, before remembering Mitasu's words. He looked through his soul vision, spotting the extra soul just as he picked up on Yume's words. It caught Akvan's breath back, in fact he didn't think he breathed for a few minutes after discovering it for himself. Practically falling from the chair, he twisted around to knell next to the bed instead, carefully taking one of Chester's hands in his. "B...b-both souls are f-fine." He muttered to the others around him. "It's... s-still alive." He added, before finding his throat caught. This night had been all sort of emotions for Akvan. It felt so hard to believe, and yet his eyes just proved it. "It's alive." Came another mutter. Akvan just wished Chester was awake, share this moment with Akvan. But, she needed rest, so the Sun child tried to keep himself calm, when she was better, he'd be able to share the news with her. Akvan kept his eyes on Chester, but listened to Yume. He knew he'd fight Mitasu again, and despite this news, his resolve stood it's ground. He'd not want to miss the fight, and make sure her existence was removed before she could harm anyone else. He swallowed hard, "I know, this is our only chance t-to stop her for good." Akvan replied, leaning forward to place a kiss on Chester's head. He got up finally, looking towards Tenshi. "Mitasu had a message for you, Tenshi... i-if you want to hear it." Akvan said.

The whole deal with Mitasu had Tenshi on edge, seeing how she knew what the witch was capable of. And for that reason, Tenshi opted to stay behind to heal up those needed, and she was glad that's what she chose the second Chester was taken. Tenshi wasted no time once she returned to heal up her friend, her sister, alongside a trembling Nanari. Both eyes widening at the thought of a baby, sending magic into the stomach, Tenshi could feel it, however small and barely there it was. Giving a shaky breath, Tenshi gave a smile as it lived, not knowing what would happen if it didn't. Giving Akvan a pat on the shoulder, and allowed space for him to see Chester, being able to do nothing more for her, "She's going to be fine. Always a fighter, so you must know she wont be taken out so easily." Tenshi turned her attention onto Yume, "Thank you for your help." Tenshi wouldn't forget what Yume did, but that would come later, after Mitasu was killed. Though, when Akvan looked to her once more, something dropped in her stomach, Mitasu's words were never good, more so if it was a message designed especially for someone. "No, I don't want to hear it. But I must, I need to know what she has planned... Because something like this is never good." This message could be anything, and Tenshi dreaded to think on what it was.

Chester was a fighter indeed, but for all the wrong reasons. Always acting with toughness and bravo because she was simply used to pain too much. It made Akvan sick to know that was the truth. But at least a good outcome of her experiences meant that she was a survivor. It didn't mean Akvan wouldn't worry sick about her all the time, but was something to think about. Tenshi stated as much, and was responded to with a small nod from Akvan. He could respect that Tenshi probably didn't want to hear the message. It wasn't particular nice, especially coming from someone Tenshi clearly despised anyway. Akvan closed his eyes to remember the message. "She said.. s-she was sorry to hear of your loses, but her b-boss needed them out of the way. And that... she h-hopes you don't mind, but your beloved is all ready for a fight." Akvan replied. Opening his eyes, he gave Tenshi a comforting, slight smile, "I won't ask what any of it means... but, i-it doesn't sound good." Akvan added, before looking to anyone else around. Many were preparing. Some dreamers looked to be staying behind to rest, whilst others prepared themselves for battle. Yume would probably lead them. She seemed to know more about the location than Akvan, who only knew it from appearance.
