Iruka sighed quietly to himself, gradually closing his eyes after staring up at the morning sky for a few minutes. It had been a good while since his adoption into this family, and Iruka had to admit it was a good steal. Food, money, good sleeping quarters. The children of well known Sun priests sure were spoilt. All of the young man's previous whines about this place were put to rest pretty quick. You'd have to be mad to refuse a good place like this. The folks here weren't too bad, when they were actually around. But there was one thing Iruka felt like he could live without. "IRUKA!" Came that whiny voice from inside. Suddenly there was a loud bang of a door, and a childish scream. Iruka tried ignoring it, until Sakana demanded his attention again. "Iruka! Shinny won't leave me alone!" The girl called again, and Iruka finally rose his head slightly. Sakana was running around screeching, although she seemed to smile as she did. Behind her, easily following the girl's heels, was Iruka's little Demon friend. He was growing bigger everyday, and that meant food had to be place further and further away from the edges of tables and counters. Because it seemed the one thing to get Shinda's utmost attention was food, and that Demon could eat. It had proven harder and harder to make excuses for missing food to Sakana's parents, whilst making sure Shinda wasn't discovered in the process. Iruka shuffled his back up against a tree in the huge garden around the estate's side, smirking as he watched this game of cat and mouse unfold. Iruka continued enjoying the moment until it looked like Shinda might actually start biting, "Oi! Shinda!" Iruka called over. "Leave her alone before we all go deaf." Sakana may like to think she could command their Demon friend, but as far as being master to the interesting 'pet', Iruka's voice always got through to Shinda more.

Shinda sometimes wanted to curse this language barrier. It wasn't like he didn't listen, he just didn't understand very well. Having Sakana taunt him with his favourite food, golden rice bread, and then eat it in front of the Demon's face, the Demon just didn't know what to make of it. Was she punishing him for doing something wrong? If so what? Shinda might have scratched some of the wooden banisters in the house when trying to climb around, but Sakana never cared about that kind of stuff. After eating the glorious food, Sakana got up and ran off, giggling as she did. The room still stunk of food, but there wasn't anything left on the table. Which could only mean Sakana have taken it with her when she ran off. And so, that led to the current situation. After being unsuccessful at sneakily hunting Sakana around the house, Shinda was left with no choice other than to just chase her down. Sakana would run, which made the Demon want to run as well. He was small, but strong for his side. Shinda could easily tackle Sakana down, if in his mind he didn't remember that scolding seemed to occur when he got too aggressive. But it was getting tiring now, and all the Demon wanted was to know if Sakana had taken anymore food that Shinda could then swipe. The instant Shinda's six ears picked up Iruka's voice, the Demon froze, staring towards the silver haired man. Growling a bit that his endeavour to find food on Sakana had been soiled, the Demon let his legs drop, falling back to lie right there on the grass, a low growl still vibrating through his throat.

Note: Tenshi is NPC in this until I find the right moment to begin using her Profile. Xxx
Rifi grabbed Tenshi's hand once they both decided to visit Iruka, Sakana and Shinda and was quick to begin a run towards the others house, laughing all the way with Tenshi being dragged behind. "Rifi slow down..." The tone of voice just made Rifi laugh, he could hear the chuckle she let out, "Then run faster..." The two often tripped up on the journey, but laughed none the less. Besides it had been a few days since they had last all hung out, and both were looking forward to it. Laughing as they made it to the house, Rifi let go of Tenshi's hand as he hopped over the back fence, before helping the smaller Angel up and over. "Its getting so much harder trying to help you over the fence Tenshi..." Looking at his friend in mock amusement over her weight, Rifi let out a laugh as he began to run from the mock angry female. "Get back here Rifi..." Rifi shot off as fast as his legs would take him, Tenshi in tow, before the two caught a glimpse of the others. Not wasting any time, Rifi took one last dash before hiding behind the older Iruka... "She's going to hurt me Iruka... Save me..." Rifi was quick to see Iruka as an older brother, probably more glad that he wasn't the only male in the group of friends anymore, that, and it was nice not having the responsibility as the eldest, it meant he could get away acting all childish.

Iruka smiled slightly as Shinda seemed to give up the chase, much to the Angel's command. He knew whatever happened, was without a doubt Sakana's fault, but unfortunately in this household, the little evil girl got the better treatment. Iruka himself was used to that house hierarchy. For a Demon with a very weak grasp on language, it was much more confusing. Sakana chuckled as she celebrated her win, turning to Shinda to stand above him, taunting the poor Demon with something in her pocket. Iruka couldn't intrude in Sakana's business, and could only hope the girl understood how strongly their Demon felt about food when he bite a hole through her pocket. In the hope of seeing something like that happen, Iruka definitely kept his mouth shut. The peaceful morning was ripped further out of Iruka's grasp when he heard the annoying giggles of two more children. Just when Iruka's eyes were tempting to close, Rifi's voice appeared right next to the Angel's ear. Red eyes glanced from the boy to Tenshi. "A man's gotta pay the price for his crimes, Rifi." The older Angel stated. Iruka didn't like to think that he was actually a member of this group of boisterous children, but if he was, he'd be glad too that there was another guy. Iruka glanced to Tenshi, giving the other girl a smile before having to return his eyes towards Sakana and what else she was doing to tease pet Shinda. She now had the Demon staring goggle-eyes up at the food she'd been hiding, attempting to paw at it as Sakana refused to lower it down. Fortunately for Shinda, and Sakana's fingers, as soon as the other two came along, Sakana's interest was pulled away. She dropped the bread, scratching Shinda's softer skin behind his weird ears before rushing over to the others. "Ooooh please tell me Rifi is gunna get beat up!" She jested, smiling to her friends.

Shinda wasn't the only one seeing this as unfair, was he? Clearly he was the hungry victim here, and Sakana was just taunting the Demon by not giving him his fair share. He'd worked so hard when staring at Sakana eating it earlier, so were was the reward? And now she was being allowed to tease Shinda even more. Seeing the bread being revealed, Shinda congratulated himself in his head. If anything, the Demon could rely on his nose to sniff out anything that was hidden from him. Openly drooling as he stared up at the food, Shinda's little purples eyes moved with each motion. He'd heard the happy intruders before they'd even got close, but paid them no attention whatsoever. Yet, anyway. Finally snapping down on the dough as Sakana dropped it, Shinda rolled up to sit and eat. It was all gone in a matter of seconds, as if Shinda wasn't given those three meals a day that Iruka and Sakana managed to swipe away for him. Afterwards, the Demon didn't know whether to greet the guests, or simply sit back here and watch. He couldn't understand what they were talking about, beyond the mention of a few names or words Shinda remembered. Nor could the Demon really do anything in the group. He needed to learn to talk, or at least understand others. Iruka already started teaching Shinda, now that the Demon was paying attention enough, but getting things to stick was the hard part. Eventually, bored of playing with his armoured claws by chewing on the tips, Shinda got up, gingerly wandering around towards Iruka's side, hoping to simply sit down next to his fatherly-figure and watch from there.

Tenshi glared at Rifi as he hid behind Iruka. But it was all in good fun as he knew... She could never stay mad at her friend for long, but he didn't need to know that just yet. Smiling back to Iruka, she was glad he agreed about Rifi owning up to his 'crimes' even if he didn't know what actually happened, before sending an amused glance to Sakana. "Yeah im going to beat him up... The idiot in short called me fat..." Reaching behind Iruka, Tenshi began to chase after Rifi again, planning to at least get one hit on the head done... But was quick to give up in that endeavour as he was faster, before she sat beside Shinda and gave the Demon a pat on the head. "I'll get ya later Rifi... Just you wait until my wings set in." She was determined to be a better flyer then him, above everything else. "What were you guys up to before we turned up then? Sakana teasing poor Shinda again?" Tenshi didn't know what to think the first time she met the baby Demon, but after seeing how cute he could be, she quickly warmed up to him, just as Rifi had... She couldn't wait for the day Iruka finally taught him how to speak... She might finally be able to get someone else teasing Rifi.

Iruka had forgotten his plans for this lazy morning, there was no point hoping on getting some extra sleep with these squealing kids running circles around him. So Iruka made a last yawn, before looking from Tenshi as she spoke, to Rifi. Huffing, Iruka sighed, "Tip for you, Rifi." Iruka glanced back up to the kid, "NEVER mention a woman's weight, unless you know what it will cost you." Iruka watched the kids run around, looking up to Sakana. "Of course... there are some occasions when it's not all that wrong to mention." Iruka smirked to Sakana, "Hey chubby, how much food did you eat before you let tiny little Shinda have a bit?" Sakana was red in the face before Iruka even finished, slamming her fists on his side, only for the man to easily block with an arm up. Sakana kept muttering abuse, mocking Iruka's hair or his lazy attitude, but the Angel gave it, and Sakana's petty need to be violent, no notice. He scratched Shinda's head when the Demon wandered over sheepishly. Iruka looked to Tenshi, "She was indeed-" "Was not! That crazy little Demon was chasing me for no reason!" Sakana blurted out, glaring at Iruka for one long moment before giving up on punishing the man, though she remained bright red in frustration. "Because you were running for no reason... Hey Shinda," Iruka called down to his Demon friend, "Was the red tomato here teasing you with food?"

Shinda shied back during the small chase of the two less recognisable Angels, before slowly shuffling up to Iruka. He saw the tree as the safest place, not out in the open, and next to the toughest looking Angel. Making some sort of purr when Iruka welcomed him to the tree, Shinda wriggled until he sat similar to Iruka. Leaning upright against the tree, legs resting with one more lifted than the other. The Demon kept glancing to Iruka, making sure he was mirroring it right. Imitation was a very natural thing. Do the thing the toughest and oldest did, and learn to survive like that. Iruka had clearly seen more years than the other Angels here, and so must have survived. Thus, Shinda assumed to survive he'd need to copy Iruka as best he could, something any feral Demon would be naturally good at. Shinda twitched as someone else touched his head, relaxing after sniffing out whose scent it was. He'd come far from trying to bite anything close to him, to a point when even a startled Shinda would think before trying to rip whatever had scared him to pieces. Shinda's ears moved when he heard his name, unable to understand the rest of the gibberish Iruka asked, at least until he mentioned food. That got Shinda's head jumping up, and the eyes darting around in search for it. When it came to food, Shinda usually knew exactly how to get it. In a sudden movement, the Demon moved onto his belly, and then rolled onto his back, arms curled in front of his chest. He gave Iruka, whom he assumed had food since he'd mentioned it, a big-eyed look, before prodding the man with a hand. A usual begging position adopted by the Demon, who'd used it successfully enough times on Sakana to assume it always worked.

Rifi looked up to Iruka in amusement before smirking, "im not afraid of some weak little girly..." Giving a quick look to Tenshi, Rifi took off running, knowing he could easily out run his friend, and get away with any prior insults with no hurt feelings... Tenshi knew he would never initially be mean to her, everyone else yes, but not his best friend. "Come on slow poke..." After a few good minuets, Rifi smiled in his victory before joining Tenshi with Shinda, not wanting to be far from his friend for longer then necessary. "Oh come on... Flying wont be fair... Your parents are like two of the best flyers out there..." Rifi never felt more like a whining child then he did at that point, but he was being serious, Flying against Tenshi would most likely be like digging a grave... But he quickly gave up his complaining to listen in on the siblings fighting... Always finding it amusing, before chuckling at Shinda and rolling his eyes. "That Demon is going to eat us all dry..." Rummaging around his pocket, Rifi found a small packet of dried fruit, before handing it over to Shinda. "Healthy food was all mummy let me have the morning, and im not going to eat it anyways... Oh and Sakana, even I know Shinda only chases you when you have food..."

Iruka was used to this game, and he was the only one to refuse to feed a Demon who begged all the time. Shinda was a pet sure, and treats here and there weren't a bad thing, but when the greedy little guy was asking for something every other minute, it turned him into a food-based black hole and little else. Slapping gently at Shinda's hand each time he poked the Angel's leg, Iruka glanced to the younger Angels. "Flying is something you'll all look forward to." The older Angel stated. "Once fully grown, wings will take you anywhere, unique and delicate parts of ourselves that can never be replaced." Iruka seemed rather serious, which he kind of was. Kids needed to be taught, even lesson that were probably drilled into their heads every day. Huffing as Shinda was given a reward for being a little scavenger, Iruka playfully pulled the Demon onto his back. "You know that, don't you, you flightless chicken?" Iruka teased, ruffing up Shinda's hair. Poor little guy had probably never flown in his life. Demons wings seemed to form sooner than Angels did, but just as Shinda was ready to taste the skies, his wings were taken. And as far as Angel research had gone, Demons wings didn't grow back, just like Angels. Sakana seemed to relax some more, giggling at the noises a struggling Shinda made, before looking to the others. "Yeah... well..." The girl started, thinking of an excuse, "I just think being stuck inside all the time will make him like a squashy pillow, Shinny gets exercise when chasing me, so yeah, it's all to help him." Iruka rolled his eyes secretly to his sister, though smiled slightly. Happy with her excuse, Sakana glanced back to the house. "Anyone want a drink? Tea? Any... ugh... F-O-O-D?"

Thing were getting dizzy as Shinda lay down, but he soon got he wanted. Spotting the food in Rifi's hand, Shinda was quickly up, going to snatch it, before stopping a hairs length from the bag. Cooing a noise, Shinda nodded his head, slowly taking the fruit before tipping back and sitting down. He stared at the bag like it held some sort of treasure, opening it before letting a long forked tongue quick eat up the contents. It was soon all gone, and shortly after Shinda was pulled down onto his back again. The Demon made a few soft cackling noises, trying weakly to keep Iruka's hand away from rubbing and messing up Shinda's hair, but the Demon wasn't really trying to prevent play. He eventually wriggled out of Iruka's hold, getting onto his feet before jumping against the tree. Using his perfectly sharpened claws, Shinda easily climbed it to get out of Iruka's reach. He growled playfully, attempting to reach down with one hand and ruffle Iruka's hair up to. Shinda had long forgotten what it felt like to have wings. He'd been young and scared when attacked in Dranar. And to relieve the stress from the Demon, his mind simply forgot it ever even happened. As far as young Shinda was concerned, he'd never had wings, only a tail that was growing longer and stronger and sharper each day.

Tenshi took a moment to catch her breath before looking at her friends in amusement. "I cant wait to fly, mum and dad are teaching me little tricks already, but im just so excited to finally be able to fly myself..." Looking over to Rifi, Tenshi gave him a quick hug before manuvering her way over to Sakana and laughing at Rifi. "Mummy didn't just let you have fruit... You just ate everything else on the way over here..." Rolling her eyes at her best friend, Tenshi turned her attention towards Sakana. "Come on Sakana enough with the excuses... Shinda in a growing Demon who needs his nutrients, its not fair to tease... And I would love some tea if its going... I can help..." It was no secret how much Tenshi loved tea ever since her mother allowed her to try it once during one of her get together's, and its been the young child's downfall ever since. Grabbing onto Sakana's hand, Tenshi began dragging her towards the house, her want for tea increasing now it was mentioned. "We'll be back in a second, don't kill each other while were gone... That's my job..." Laughing slightly, Tenshi began to run.

Note: No Shinda reply after this one, since he hasn't been included much to have anything to do.
Sakana had heard her fill of reasons for not teasing Shinda. It was all fun in the end, and Shinda kind of knew that too, hopefully. She smiled to her friends, before being dragged along by Tenshi. Quickly overtaking her friend, Sakana led them both inside, going straight into the kitchen, which had a window to view out from. Sakana got the pot filled with water, placing it over a small fireplace as she looked outside. "So, you and Rifi seem close. You two are making me feel more and more icky every time you come round... do you liiiiiiike him?" Sakana asked, a grin rubbed across her face. Sakana wasn't all tough and careless, she did find some things adorable. Like this little spark she could see around her two friends, it was so cute to think about. And Sakana swore if they didn't get together one day, then she'd get some rope and force Tenshi and Rifi together herself.
Iruka ignored Shinda's playful need to try and get him back, getting up completely to move away from the tree. Stretching his stiff arms up, Iruka yawned, looking back to his young friend. "So kid, how's it been going?" Iruka asked back, believing he might as well head into casual conversation. The girls were no doubt chatting inside, so the guys out here should probably do the same. Iruka was certain he had chores to do at some point, though he'd thrown that memory out the window when he came here to nap the day away. Iruka yawned again, "It's only been like three months since I came to this place, and I'm already forgetting what life was like before being in this family." He glanced over to Shinda. "Even Shinda, a Demon that Angel once believed could never be tamed has settled in so well... It feels weird saying this to a kid, but thanks Rifi, you're all a bunch of brats, but it's kind of nice to be rudely woken up by all of you, and I doubt I'd be welcomed anywhere else like I have been here." Re-homing an Angel under the age of maturity was always a rough business. Sometimes things went well, adoption was perfect and all got along. At least, those were the ones people heard of. Most of the time, those placed in a family that didn't have blood relation to that family weren't given a good time. Jobs and hard labour, obvious prejudgement of them. Iruka was given work, but it was nothing like what he'd heard of. So, he felt like he had it lucky, especially since here, in a place so isolated from anywhere else, Iruka and his Demon friend could be happy, but not lonely.

Tenshi had been round to this house enough times to know where everything was, and proceeded to collect what was needed for a special bland of tea her grandmother taught her to make, a strange but delicious blend of spiced honey tea, Tenshi's current favourite, before setting to work filling the cups. Before looking over to Sakana, Tenshi's face heating up at every word. "What? No, no, no, no, he's my best friend, and annoying little, unshakable flea..." Even Tenshi knew she was lying, but she didn't want to ruin her friendship with her bestie, she couldn't lose him like that, not now, nor ever... She knew it would be the end of who she is. "Okay, maybe a little... Say NOTHING... I don't want to lose him, and its Rifi, I definitely will if he finds out, he thinks of those things as icky himself..." Tenshi wished It would be different... But she couldn't wish trying to make it so. "I can trust you not to tell him right?"

Rifi watched as the girls leave, a small smile on his face when watching Tenshi, before moving his gaze towards the elder, and giving a different kind of smile. "Its going confusing, and stupid... Mummy and Daddy say im growing up too fast, and I don't like it..." Rifi didn't want to grow up, but his parents kept commenting on how grown up he actually was, and adding on other factors... Rifi shook his head quickly before turning his attention back to Iruka and rushing up to give the other a hug once he finished speaking. "The elders are silly, we should all accept each other one and the same, even Demons. And your like a brother to me... I don't see why I shouldn't accept you, you haven't done anything wrong..." Rifi could trust Iruka, with anything really, more so then others, Including his own parents. Sitting on the floor, Rifi buried his head in his hands before looking up to the other... "Can I ask you something?" Not waiting for a reply, Rifi needed to ask this now before it was lost, or worse, his mummy found out first. "How do you tell a girl you like her, and more then, let just say, a best friend, or super mega awesome friend..?"
