Chester wanted to burst out into happy tears over what Ru said. It wasn't ever she heard him turn so honest and soft, it was nice to see him break out of his shell. Though she knew they needed to finish Kaku's leg, she allowed him to walk over, and beckoned Neko away too. They deserved a moment of privacy, and this was something she swore not to later tease her brother over. The fact he was admitting such things out loud was enough for her. "They really are great together. But they are going to turn all mushy on us aren't they Neko?" She chuckled slightly to herself, it was something she guessed she could handle, if not for her brother himself, then for the happiness he obviously held when with Kaku. "We are going to have to break this cute moment in a minute though, they can have it when we aren't around."
Note: Told you this was going to be a short reply. But not to worry, I have something up my sleeve ready for her next one.

Rurushu couldn't help the tears that dripped down his face. It was the nicest thing anyone had ever said to him... It gave him a reason to carry on in a way. Though words were not his forte in such situations, he racked his brain for the perfect thing to reply with. Kaku deserved it. Ru put a hand to his cheek and moved him thumb over the others lips. "This right here feels like the most natural thing in the world. It warms my heart and sets my soul on fire. I've lived my life in pain, never knowing what love feels like and never experience it for myself, that caused me to do terrible things. Things that I now regret, and things that have lead me to be condemned to carry on that streak. And yet here with you, I can forget the promises I've made, I can forget the burdens I carry. I can become myself. I promise you now that I will never allow you to feel such heartbreak again. Though I stand by my words the other day of sacrificing myself for one if its the last choice, I will do all in my power to make sure such a thing does not happen, as I know I have you waiting for me to return, because you love me. And that's the greatest gift I could ever receive, Kaku." Ru gave Kaku another kiss, one more passionate then the last they shared a few moments ago. Through it Ru gave Kaku the message on how he felt, the rest of the message that he wished he had the words for. And when the kiss was finally over, Ru rested his head upon Kaku's, hugging him tight, vowing to never let this go.

Kakushin said his piece, it was Ru's turn. There was nothing else around Kaku now except this man in front of him. No Neko or Chester behind them, no searing pain in his leg or exhaustion on his face or weight pulling down his eyes. It was all just Rurushu, and to Kakushin that was all he needed. Kakushin listened to every word, face moving from smile to tearing up to smiling again. Melting into the moment, Kaku followed Ru into the kiss, falling forwards into it with bliss in his mind and passion in his actions. Kakushin could relax in the embrace, closing his eyes and feeling the warmth of Rurushu's head. It was still heated, they were both probably still red from before, but Kaku didn't care anymore. This blushing red reminded Kakushin of how his love felt, and how he felt too. "If I'm to be your first experience of this kind of love, then I promise to make the life you've put up with until now feel worth it, worth waiting for this." Kakushin shivered, thinking of the promise Ru had stated to, the promise to not leave the Angel broken. Kaku smiled, promises to Demons usually meant little, and Angels viewed them as sacred words. But hearing this Demon promise an Angel not to leave him, Kaku could embrace every word, knowing it was a promise he and Ru could remember. "If your past ever pulls you down, know that I'm a part of those sins now, they're mine as much as yours." He didn't want to say more, so Kaku simply held onto the moment for a little bit longer, before glancing back to Neko. The cat had moved, sitting back against a tree as he just let the two get on with it. Kakushin wondered why Neko seemed to yo-yo from helping to teasing. But then he thought about how Neko actually felt about all of this. Neko had been looking after his late friends companion ever since that happened, and perhaps the cat was starting to realize that he didn't really need to worry about the sad little Angel anymore. Kaku smiled to his feline friend, sending Neko a silent thanks before returning to the warm arms of Rurushu.

Chester watched the two with a gentle smile on her face. It really was nice to see her brother so happy, and she hoped that maybe, just maybe he would see that all the Outlaws were dong was wrong. That despite all the pain one feels or felt was all for nothing as there was someone out there to help bare that pain. If Ru could find his... Then the others could find someone too. As much as Chester hated to admit it, even Itami found someone, though nobody was meant to know about that. But she relished the blackmail she had over the witch. She watched for a moment longer before cutting into the conversation, they had plenty of time to act 'lovey-dovey' with each other. "I love the adorableness of the two of you, but there are two others here, and personally ide rather not sit here and watch you suck each others faces off the entire time." Chester placed a hand over the top of each other their shoulders. "I didn't listen into what you were saying, but by the looks of each others faces it was mushy. And personally I hope what dear brother said was on par with the mushy song I heard him sing about you two days ago after our meeting... Believe it or not, he's actually pretty good." Chester couldn't help but throw that little fact in there, she had to find a way to get revenge for watching them kiss several times, and in a very, very slight jealous rage that her day with her brother has been halted by the arrival of Kaku... She's glad that he is happy, and she adores Kaku, but a part of her did want to just hang with him.

"You know, I already feel as if it was worth it." Ru knew that he could trust Kaku with everything he told him, and he knew he would believe the promises made. Many Demons didn't keep them, but Ru made it a fact that if he made one, he would keep it, no matter the cost. Placing his head upon Kaku's and hugging him tighter, he let a lone tear fall. "I do not wish for you to share the burdens of my past. And I hope that the sins of my future are for a reason, not just pointless... And that goes for you too, if you ever feel down about anything, please talk to me." It was difficult to think of letting Kaku share those sins, there were too many, ones that he would never wish upon anyone. Though he admits to now wanting to find out his human life, to see exactly what caused him to get to this point, why he is who he is. He never found a reason to before, but with Kaku... he wanted to find everything about himself so that he could atone for the sins he made... Create peace in himself that he hasn't had for so long. When Chester came over he couldn't tell if it would end well or not, he was suppose to be hanging with her today, and with Kaku here he knew that wasn't exactly happening, though she would be okay with it in a whole... Rurushu still felt a little guilty. He froze up when Chester mentioned his singing... HOW DID SHE FIND OUT? He made sure to be well away from everyone, and he even flew to the other side of Rycora straight away, how she even reached him in time was a mystery. It was a secret he was planning on taking to his grave, and now it was out in the open like he didn't even try to hide it. "HOW IN THE WHOLE OF SOHUL DID YOU FIND ME WHEN SINGING?"

Kaku could only relish in the moment for a little longer. For once Neko was butting out of this, and Chester took the role of moment-breaker. Kakushin smiled to Chester all the same, a little flush of red of how she described it. Giggling, Kaku patted the younger Human's arm, somewhat glad she was around. It was nice to know that Rurushu had someone else to care for, and the Angel wasn't in the slightest greedy of getting all of Rurushu's attention. When Chester placed her hand down on his shoulder, Kaku tried to hide the obvious pain he felt. It was the kind of pressure his leg didn't need, and if Kakushin had even remembered the serious slice on his leg, he would of prepared himself. But, fortunately, Chester brought him away from thinking of the pain with the next bit of juicy information. Singing was a custom all Angels should naturally know, but wasn't something the young Angel ever had on his mind. During his travels, Kaku had heard a lot of different musical styles, and he enjoyed them. But he was tone-deaf, not a single note out of Kakushin sounded good. The Angel remained quiet, laughing insanely inside as he pictured Ru singing. "I've never heard a Demon sing..." Kakushin stated innocently, "And to think one was singing about me once? That's just too good not to hear." Neko seemed to listen up a bit, head lifted just off the tree as he grinned. "Whatever you do, don't ask Kaku to sing though. Angels are meant to have the song of birds in them, but cats can sing better than Kaku, I should know."

Chester chuckled slightly at the out burst from her brother. She was expecting that exact reaction after all. "Its not the only time I've heard him sing, but I admit, its the first I've heard a love song. Most of the tie its depressing ones to get over his self'-loathing phases. And Ru, when your in those phases... I follow to make sure you don't do anything stupid, so I know where you go. Its pretty easy to get there when jumping through the trees." Chester once again burst out into an un-lady like laugh, Angels were meant to have 'the voice of an angel' after all, so hearing that Kaku couldn't was too mixed up compared to Ru being able to. "Well, I now know who to call if I even need someone dead by singing, though I admit im not much better." She removed her hands from their shoulders and gave a look towards Ru. "Why don't you show them you can sing. It will be much more fun than just talking about it."

Rurushu just stood there like a fish out of water during the conversation, he didn't even know Chester followed him, let alone heard him sing on multiple occasions. He couldn't even find it in himself to chuckle over the fact that Kaku couldn't sing at all. Releasing his hold on Kaku and slowly folding into himself, Ru just shook his head. He wouldn't... Couldn't sing in front of people, and knowing that Chester had heard him before was terrible enough... It was more embarrassing then the secrets she slipped to Kaku in a hope to make him blush. "No, no, no, no. The day I sing for any one is the day I die. Its not happening, No way. I wouldn't even think of it if I were you. Nope. No. Just no." Ru couldn't help but keep chanting out no as he slid down the tree he began to rest against. Singing was his way to let go, something only he should know. He flat out refuses to share that with another, no matter how close they were. When he reached the floor, he just covered his face with his hands and sat there. Sure he seemed weak, and was completely out of character, but all he could do was think of the reasons behind the words he sung. Memories he wished to forget, moments he saw as Deja-vu but was too frightened to find out why, and the words he wished he could say to Kaku directly, then just indirectly hinted at.

Kakushin marveled over what a Demon singing sounded like. He couldn't help but want to hear it, not only because hearing Rurushu sing would mean a lot. He chuckled half-heartedly along with Chester when she thought that fact that the Angel couldn't sing was funny. "I wasn't around much as a young Angel ok? And I'd rather perish then have Hane try and teach me." Kaku admitted, smiling to Chester as he didn't want her to think he minded this teasing. She was really warming on the Angel, it wasn't a wonder why Rurushu view her with so much protection. Decent Humans were hard to find from Demon or Angel perspectives. Neko seemed to walk over to them, sighing as he handed Kaku a large supporting stick. "If you're honestly refusing to rest, then at least hold this." The cat muttered, before looking bemused over the sigh of the dropped Demon. He laughed a little, kneeling down by Kakushin's feet to get a better look at the ashamed Rurushu. "Man, he's like you Kaku when it comes to spring cleaning." Kakushin shuddered. Spring cleaning in Angel terms was the once a year time when wings needed to maintained. It meant a lot of plucking and washing, both of which felt strange and painful to Kaku. He hated it, having to tied to the ground by Neko just so the cat to do maintenance. Neko rubbed his neck, glancing to Chester. "Ever been hit by a reluctant Angel's wing? I'd prefer being kicked by a horse." The cat commented. Kakushin chuckled, patting the cat-man's head. He looked back to Rurushu, feeling bad that he was so curious to hear the man sing. "I won't ask you to sing, Rurushu... I feel like any more revelations today might kill us... but don't think it won't come up again." Kakushin grinned, raising an eyebrow. He felt like he was trying to be the words of peace here, which was technically Kaku's role anyway. But it looked like begging Rurushu to sing was exploiting something too delicate for now, and Kakushin didn't want to break what he'd just got.

Chester just rolled her eyes at her brother as he slid down the tree, she could tell there was more to his singing then met the eye, and made a mental note not to mention it again to anyone. Taking a glance at Neko as he came over, she suddenly remembered that Kaku was in fact hurt, and she rested her weight of his shoulder. Oops. "Yeah, sorry for resting my weight on your shoulder, I guess it didn't help." She gave Kaku an apologetic look before switching it to one of slight amusement. "Spring cleaning? Care to explain exactly what happens with that?" She could only guess what happened with that, and really did wish to know more. Chester remembered all the times she was hit by an Angel, though only one was due to the wing... But its not like she could tell them that. "Trust me, a horses kick is pretty bad, I would know." She mulled over all the times her horse accidentally kicked her, and they caused bruises on her legs for weeks to come. "Im sure when Ru is ready he will sing to you, serenade you with a beautiful love song." Chester gently shoved Ru's head to see if he was still with them, the initial teasing that had gone on had now died down, but that didn't stop her from wanting Ru to join in on the fun.

Rurushu watched in slight amusement the conversation going on just above him. He was glad to see Chester and Kaku get along so well, he wouldn't have known what he would have done if they hated each other, though he was sure the two would put their differences aside for him. "Oh come Kaku, I want to hear you sing, im sure your not that bad." Ru had a pretty good idea what was required from an Angels spring cleaning, and he was glad he didn't have to go through the same treatment, despite feeling a little bad for Kaku, he still found the thought amusing. But he refused to give his opinion on the matter. Rurushu shuddered at the thought of him singing coming up in another conversation between the two, it was not something he terribly wished to talk about, or for Kaku to find out in the first place, but the latter was obvious already. I suppose he would just have to suck it up and wing it when the time came... he refused to tell him the reasoning behind the singing too. Swatting Chester's hand away, Ru made his way back into standing and hugged Kaku one again, making sure to keep weight off of his leg. "Like I said, none of you are hearing me sing. Its not happening. Ever." Ru gave a pointed look to all three of them, in a hope his point was put across.

Kakushin didn't mind the pressure on his leg, an injury was an injury, and that Angel was used to pain anyway. But he couldn't hide the relief on his face as Chester stopped leaning on him. When she didn't know what Spring Cleaning was, Kakushin gave her a look as if she'd just asked what a tree looked like. The Angel shivered. "Spring Cleaning is a nice way of putting the worst few days of the year for any Angel. After a whole year of happy flying, running around doing your job, you're suddenly forced to roost, either by reluctant choice or tied down by your annoying if useful feline companion. Then as you lie there screaming, the friend takes sadistic joy over plucking out each and every feather on your back that they think is molted or misshapen, like cleaning some poor dead chicken for cooking. If they pluck a perfectly fine on? Imagine someone ripping off every hair on your head at once." Neko rolled his eyes, trying to slyly wrap a clean bandage around Kaku's leg as the Angel was busy spouting over his nightmares. The Angel shivered again, glad that they had at least half a year before he'd have to worry about maintenance again. And he could smile too, since Rurushu seemed to wake up from his funny state on the floor. The Demon wrapped around Kakushin, and the Angel felt all weight off his leg, giggling as he heard Neko curse quietly as the movement made his medical work go wrong. But then the cat grinned, plucking out the opportunity to get his own back at Kaku. "Yeah Kaku, I shouldn't be the only poor soul... I mean honored individual to hear your lovely Angelic voice." The cat teased, winking up to Kaku's slowly reddening face. He looked to all of the faces, hoping they weren't that desperate to have their ears bleed over hearing Kaku sing. "Come on guys, don't make fun. It's tough being the only Angel not singing, imagine all the festivals I just sit there." "Liar, you always sing... well, after about two bottles of Sundew anyway." Kaku felt like kicking the cat, but he wasn't that mean. Neko seemed to light up with an idea. "You know, we don't have to make Kaku or Rurushu sing personally, I mean, we do have a transforming cat here." Kakushin stared at Neko. He wasn't sure if the cat was bluffing or not, but it sure felt threatening. Neko could copy voice as well as appearance, whether he could also copy singing ability was to be found out, and Kakushin didn't want to discover it in front of Ru and Chester.

Chester's eyes lit up at the explanation of spring cleaning. That was something she would love to see. "Hey Neko! Next time it comes to his spring cleaning, totally count me in!" She tried to imagine the pain of having all her hair pulled out an shuddered at the thought, that was not something she wished to feel. Ever. But that didn't stop her from wanting to help Neko out, especially when thinking of him getting hit by an Angel wing. Taking a glance towards her brother, she was glad to see him out of his mode... It was extremely uncommon for him to do that when someone was around, and she would have to pry into the reason why at a later date. Chester had to agree with everyone about wanting to hear him sing, he couldn't be as bad as Neko makes out can he? Though, him not being able to sing is unbelievable compared to how they are meant to. "I say, Neko go right ahead with showing us Kaku singing, but as for my brother... There is more to it then just not wanting to sing in front of people, I can tell. So lets leave him be, hell im a terrible singer too, so feel free to use me instead." Chester didn't really want people to hear her voice, but if it meant the chance of getting Ru, him or a copy from being heard then she would do anything. Besides after her teasing, he deserved some kindness.

Ru gave a questioning look towards Chester when she changed from teasing to being nice, that was a surprise, but he took it in stride, if it meant getting to listen to Kaku- even an imitation- of him sing, then who was Rurushu to judge? "Thanks little sister, that means a lot. And Neko, I would love to see you turn into Kakushin here and sing. I'll even hold him off from killing you while you do so. Oh and please if you can, do Chester too as she asked... Im sure we will all be delighted with her singing ability." Ru made his grip round Kaku a little tighter to show he wasn't kidding, and moved his head to the others ear. "Honestly I would rather have the real thing sing, but I can make do with a copy... Unless your willing to humour me." He moved his lips towards Kaku's cheek and left a lingering kiss before moving back and looking towards the other like nothing happened.

Neko seemed to smile, "Ah, so I have a teammate! I'll let you know when it is, and we can tied Kaku down together." The Angel shivered, wanting to cry at the idea of two people forcing him to the ground. This wasn't fair, what did Kaku do as Guardian of Peace to earn such mean things from his friends? Kakushin felt things turn against him on the singing front as well, the poor Angel glancing from face to face as they all maliciously plotted how to embarrass Kakushin the most. Even Ru was into it, typical Demon. Kakushin struggled in his love's vice grip, looking at the grinning face of Neko as the cat felt so encouraged by the others. "No, come on, no g-guy this is mean." Kakushin stuttered, innocently looking to get out of this. Neko would sing as Kaku alright, but he wouldn't just do that. No doubt the cat would make the most out of it, making Kaku look like a fool. Rurushu suggested Kaku sing himself, but the Angels lips were sealed, despite the encouraging kiss. Neko stretched, before glowing as he changed into Kaku.
The Angel was blood red. "Neko, say a word and I'll kill you, I don't care if it's sung or spoken." Kakushin spat, glaring deathly at Neko. The copied Kakushin smiled, lifting a brow, and leaning closer to Kaku's face. This felt very weird, staring at himself in the face. Neko cleared his throat, stepping back a bit to think of a song to sing. "Soooooo, let's see, what does Kaku sing when he's drunk off his plucked little wings?" Kaku was sweating at this point, wriggling as much as he could in Ru's grip with his injury. Neko opened his mouth to sing a note, and Kakushin broke. The only way to block out Neko's copy was to sing himself, both of which would end in a meltdown for Kakushin, but it was too late at this point. Kaku sang one, long and clear note. If it could be called a note, Kakushin honestly had no idea if he was singing or simply squawking, but it sounded like something in between. Neko made a funny sound, turning back to his usual Human form as he looked at Kaku's red little face. "You really don't help the 'Angels are just glorified pigeons' thing, you know Kaku?"
