Note: Same time as Vincent and Sky meet once more, whilst many recover from the raging battle against Mo.
This fight wasn't one Art would usually get himself into. But, the numbers who came together to fight, made Art feel a duty. His own father had failed to take down this evil Dragon, and Art knew if the Demon King could fail, he didn't have much of a chance as Prince. But, needless to say, Art did try. Up in the air, he couldn't do much magic, since there was no earth in the sky to use. But, he was good at commanding, the charisma gained from talking to so many ladies made it easy to bolster up those around him growing scared of battle, or those looking for direction. They weren't winning, but still Art tried to encourage their bravery, despite how friends dropped from the skies like flies. Art tried not to let it get to him, until he swore he saw Sky flying around in the battle. She was too far to call out to, and Art's voice was cut off anyway as what might be his sister was hit hard, being knocked down towards earth along with half a dozen others.
Of course, there was no promise it was in fact his older sister, but Art wasn't rational to think it over, not when a giant Dragon was fighting him and his people. Once that group fell, Mo turned towards Art's little cluster, and the Prince felt his heart beat in his throat. Terror overtook thought, and Art just couldn't move as Mo sucked in air, and exhaled over the group, turning and smashing his tail through the cloud of flames. From the horrible smell of burnt flesh, and pain all up his side, Art couldn't take so much as a breath of air as he was hit with the bludgeoning tail, knocked right down from the sky, crashing into Rycora below. It didn't matter that they weren't high from the ground, not so much that a drop would kill something with wings. But with the impact of the hit, and how Art landed haphazardly onto his legs, something snapped as he hit the ground and tumbled to a stop. There was too much pain to focus on one thing, and Art couldn't focus enough to address his wounds. But, from another's view, it looked rough. From cuts from the fall, burns from the Dragon fire, to the broken bone now burst out of his leg in a compound fracture, all Art could do is struggle and crawl to try and move somewhere.

Eira felt awful for running and hiding once the others were defeated, but she needed to remain alive as to help them. She knew it would be the worst on her mother and father at first, and Draiko when they wont find her, but she needed to help her siblings, she needed to live for them. Rycora felt like the best place. Enough space to hide out and cover to run if needed, a kind old woman taking her in for shelter when needed, though she spent most days attending to the wounded and calming them before healers could arrive. She remained here during the final battle happening in the sky, watching as Angels and Demons alike fell, the human ships close behind, while the fire blazed and the smell of copper seemed to linger in the air. But so focused on that she jumped as something crashed through the trees. Another fallen as many others, this time away from the camps. Rushing over was easy when seeing the glow of soul light the way, but still difficult enough for her to arrive in less time then wanted. And the sight that greeted her made Eira wish to turn away, but she refused to do that as she knelt next to the man and lay a comforting hand on his shoulder letting her magic seep through to calm him before shock rang in. "My name is Eira, I need you to tell me your name and stay awake while I try to figure a way to move you to the camps, your going to lose too much blood here and I cannot heal." That was Yasmin's department. "Do you hear me?"

Art dragged himself forward only slightly. About an inch, but it was enough. The exposed bone caught on the ground, bending his lower leg into an unnatural and horrible position. The pain that spiked was enough to make Art stop, curl in on himself and scream from the pain. From not knowing how badly he'd been hurt, to fully understanding the terrible situation he was in, Art couldn't compare the pain to anything else he'd experienced. Once his voice cut off, Art tried to catch his breath, biting down on his sharp teeth to hiss through the unbearable pain. His mind thought to Sky, oh gods his sister. He needed to find her, if she had been hit like he thought, she'd be hurt too. But... but he couldn't move, his leg was bent in a way that made bile rise up in Art's mouth each time he looked. He was stuck, bleeding, in pain, he couldn't get to her. He almost began to truly panic, when someone came, and all of a sudden, that fear washed away. Art started breathing slower, perhaps a little too slow, from how weak he was. "You... you're pretty." Art mumbled, face pale, damp, but smiling weakly to this sudden woman. "I-I'm... Art. Pleasure... pleasure to m-meet you Eira." He responded, before his eyes clenched together, leg twitching in pain. "It really... h-hurts." He muttered, then frowned as he remembered his sister. Thanks to the magic, Art didn't panic, he just looked to this Eira curiously. "M.. my sister. I need to find her. S-she could be hurt... too."

Eira ignored the screams, this nothing in comparison to her siblings, even if it brought back their deaths in her mind. But she couldn't focus on that right now, not if she was to help. Chuckling slightly as face went a little red at the compliment, Eira ignored it otherwise, she had to keep him awake. "Art huh?" Now Eira really couldn't begin the panic, out of them all to land with someone who couldn't heal it had to be the god damned Demon prince. Trust her luck. "It would hurt, you have a bone sticking out from your leg..." Eira could feel panic begin to arise when she realised she may have to cause him a lot more pain to move him, it was lucky they weren't too far from the camp, and others were bound to be searching for the ones who fell. She gave a small smile to him though at mention of his sister, assuming she was one to also fall. "Most who fell were near the camps, she'll be fine... You on the other hand need to worry more about yourself right now." Blood was being lost and every second counted, if he tried to worry for someone else and move, then it will cause more issues then its worth. Sensing her magic had fully routed in his body, Eira proceeded to take off her jacket and look to Art. "Tell me about your sister though, and when your safe I'll search to make sure she's alright for you." A distraction, and while he was explaining, Eira bundled up the jacket and pressed it to his wound to stop the bleeding. "Sorry, needed to be done." Before one handily pulling up roots and vines to wrap around it so she had both hands free. "Keep talking though, I know it hurts but it'll distract from the pain."

Art had to chuckle, Eira put it bluntly, and it was really funny. Or the lack of blood was getting to him, either way Art couldn't help but laugh a little. "Y-yeah... owww... I-I noticed." He replied with what sarcasm he could muster. Any twitch hurt, so Art was just still, blissfully still thanks to this strange magic. Art tried smiling, "I-I'll be alright... Demons are r-really tough." He tried explaining, before practically howling as he attempted to demonstrate how 'alright' he was. Eira asked him to talk, and talk Art did. "W-well her name is Sky... she's older... s-smarter... umm... she has b-black and long hairrrrrr....." The word stretching out as Art's eyes shot open wide, looking to Eira as she press against the open fracture, his face even more pale now. "I-it's alright... ow.. see h-how I didn't scream? D-demons are tough..." He mumbled, words almost drunken with his state. When Eira made him keep talking, as the wound was tightly closed up, Art nodded slowly. "W-well I could t.... talk about how I'm the P-prince of Demons, n-not that.. right now, that means anything... But, you know... some g-girls like a Prince. B-but it's more than just f....for the ladies. I need to f-fight for Demons too... but.. well you see how that went... guess I'm built f-for talking... not throwing punches." Art started blubbering, he paused to look up to Eira. "Y-you know why I s.. said you're pretty? It's b-because of y-your eyes... they're really... nice.." He explained, feeling his tongue grow numb and slow, having to forcing out his words more than letting them flow in the usual Art fashion.

More like really cocky but Eira didn't complain. She had to worry about keeping him alive more then anything else, and insulting the poor kid was probably a terrible idea right now. Eira did listen to what the other had to say, and it was clear the kid thought the world of his sister so Eira would happily follow through looking for her, but after Art here was safe and well, for now, she just filed away Sky's small description in her mind, "She sounds wonderful. And I'm sure she's just fine." Smiling down at Art, Eira shook her head. "It means everything you being who you are, world needs you sooner or later, and your not the only one to fall like this it battle, others stronger have fallen." This was too fresh in her memory, her siblings, her uncle. Too many have fallen, too many injured. "But you fought, and that makes you stronger then anything." Look at her, running from It all. Blushing slightly at the compliment, Eira made sure to move closer, keeping Art from falling asleep by shaking him slightly. "Hey, no sleeping now. Tell me all the colours you see in them then, can you focus on that?" It wasn't the most ideal method, but hopefully It would be enough to get him focused and more awake. She couldn't let him fall asleep now.

Art hadn't put up with much physical pain in his life. He barely recalled his time being prisoner, those memories being his earlier childhood, and ones he made sure Sky promised not to remove. He remembered getting a little hurt by Havok from time to time, nothing serious though. The most pain he went through was emotional, but even that, Art didn't see as too much of a problem. He was a hardy one, most likely just a stubborn idiot, but as a prince he thought he was alright. Surely a ruler who dealt well with pain was a good ruler, right? Art moaned from the pain, and with a hiccup of clearer breathing, he tried smiling. "She's much t... tougher than me. S-Sky would never... be so mushy like me... l-leg hanging off." Art winced, glancing down at the horrible bend to his leg, and looked away. "L... let's not think about that." He mumbled, gagging a little. For a moment, Art could've sworn he saw some sorrow in Eira's eyes, he wasn't certain considering the blood loss and such, but he tried to smile sympathetically. "Hey..." He mumbled, trying to grab attention, "Everything we... we're doing, it helps... falling.. fighting. We'll beat that... thing, soon enough." Art replied, blinking slowly. He was shaken into focus again, focusing on Eira's question. "Oh s... so many colours." He slurred, now staring directly at them. "A... around the edges, they're d-darker, like... like the ocean, deep ocean, the kind that's really... mysterious." He winced a lot in talking, as he was being moved, or his injuries caught on something and Art had to bite down to not yelp. "Then it's lighter... gets more like a.. spring in the forest... near the middle is like... the pale sky on a s.. snowy day." He tried explaining, thinking directly to a very blurred memory of his first experience of snow, and the beautiful sky that accompanied it.

Giving a small chuckle, Eira gave Art a look. "Your doing pretty well considering, most would have passed out and given up by now, or run their voice hoarse by screaming." All true points, and something Eira had seen, if only momentarily. Wiping away at her eyes, Eira gave a grateful smile. She couldn't be too sad for the loss, knowing her siblings had a chance to return, where as her uncle was finally at peace and back home again. Even if he had the chance, Shinda was the type to know it was his time, and happily move on. "Yeah, here's hoping its sooner rather then later." Too much death, too many hurt. It was time for that to end. It was a little off putting, having Art stare intensely at her, but she didn't move away, knowing it would help his focus, even if she had to fight every cell in her body about it once she began blushing at his words, all she ever saw was blue or green. "That's more then I ever see, I didn't realise they had so much depth." Eira was at a loss as to what else she could do to gain his focus, not knowing enough about him for much more conversation, besides what she knew already. "When we defeat this beast, what do you plan to do?" It was something...

Art smirked, or what he thought was a smirk. In his state it looked more like a grimace, but the thought was there. "D... demons are tough... I told you." He replied, trying to be amusing, and sounding slurred and drunk as he did. He'd never been in this much pain, and bled so heavily, so Art's head was so heavy and fogged that he honestly couldn't think right anymore. Not that he thought right all that often anyway, just one of his quirks. "Plus... I've been b... biting down on my tongue... reeeeally hard.. when I wanna scream." He added, trying to chuckle. He looked to the side, up at the dark, maroon coloured sky. "It'll end today." He said hopefully, and looked hopefully too. "It has to." Art didn't even want to fight to begin with, he just felt like he had to, being Prince. Seeing his dads try. Where everyone saw this fight as their last, Art saw it in the same way, but also different. He knew well that this was the last stand, they either won, or died trying. So far... there had been a lot of death going on. But, Art was still hopeful.
"They're very p... pretty." He repeated, swallowing, and continuing to stare. "What would I do... will I do.." He mumbled, "Well I'd ask a p... pretty girl for.. for a date to start with." Art replied, this time certain he was grinning and it didn't look painful. "Then... fix things.. make sure my... dads are alright... and my sister... and you know... every single Demon."

Eira knew just how tough Demons could be, her uncle was the toughest out there, and her mother not far behind when it came to emotional matters. But if Art was finding being right amusing, then she wasn't going to complain. And it would end, Eira could feel it, a calmness in the earth like it just knew, the magic in the air breathing evenly for a change. Eira gave a chuckle at hearing what Art would do first, and then after. "You would ask a pretty girl out before checking on your family?" It was an amusing thought, though she paid no mind to his answer when hearing the shouts coming from the distance. "HEY, HEY OVER HERE." Eira made sure to keep shouting as they waited for the others to find them. One older man and a younger woman emerging from the trees. Not much was really said, everyone more focused on Art then introductions or asking what happened. Instead Eira just let them work once hearing they were from camp, the woman trying to begin healing, while Eira helped the man carry Art back, as she whispered words of comfort to him, knowing the jousting around wouldn't be the most pleasant experience. "Almost there Art, just hold on yeah? Keep awake, okay?"

Art opened his mouth to reply, before thinking. Yeah, yeah he kind of did think about asking out a very pretty girl before his family. He was losing blood, and besides, the really pretty girl was saving his life right now. So Art chuckled a little awkwardly, unable to get an answer out before also hearing the shouting. Help it seemed, thank goodness. Because Art was dying, and also a little ashamed of what he'd said. He swore if Sky was alive and looked into his memories and saw that, oh the Prince was doomed. Art took a few deep breaths, as the group decided on what to do. Heal him as best they could, then carry him. And as exhausted as he was, it really really hurt to be moved. He struggled a little, almost cracking his teeth when they snapped together in pain. "I am! Owwww.... I am a.. awake! Ah, not sleeping, ah, any.. any time soon." He replied to Eira, in between squeals of pain that jolted up his leg.
It didn't get much better, not until Art was finally taken to the camp, with a flat surface to lie down on. Some people had seen to him, and once given permission, Art passed out into exhausted sleep. He woke up feeling awful, like a giant bruise. Aches, pains, skin that felt too tight to move around. More of less his whole leg was in a makeshift cast now, and Art was just glad the leg was straight, and not horrifically bent anymore. A few more hours of rest, food and water, and Art was allowed up. He had a crutch, and was straight out of the tent. The numbers outside were massive, but fortunately, it didn't feel like death and despair was hanging over the air anymore. Word was around that apparently, it was over. Which was all everyone needed to relax and rest. Art looked for someone specific, or rather, two specific people. Either his sister or his saviour, whichever he found first. And apparently, he found a head of brown hair and beautiful eyes first, smiling over to Eira. She was with others, no doubt partly responsible for the calm around camp right now. He hobbled over, doing well for someone who'd never had a crutch before. "Hey... um." Art swallowed, "Well, now that the unpleasant part is gone... perhaps I could give you a better greeting?" Art suggested, before awkwardly bowing. "I'm Art, Prince of Demons, pleasure to meet you."

Eira was pleased they managed to get help, and allowed herself to relax the same time Art was allowed to sleep. And knowing that she could do nothing but wait to make sure he was alright, she followed the others orders for her to get a drink and food. Conversing with the other camp goers, Eira eventually got word things had ended, and found out about Arts sister while she made rounds to calm the camp down from it all. Mothers and children, the injured, just those who needed it. She ended up being side tracked doing so for hours, once starting, she couldn't find it in herself to stop, not while so many seemed to be grateful for the momentary release from the worry and pain. So absorbed in fact, she forgot why she was even here until she heard a familiar voice behind her, making Eira give a small jump, as she turned around and smiled to Art. "Glad to see your perkier then earlier. And healed up for the most part, kind of had me worried there for a moment... And my entire magic is based on calmness... So that's saying something." Only family had been able to make her worry so much, until now anyways. Eira did ignore the more formal greeting, she didn't need it, in fact she liked the less formal one more, even if she hated how the other was in pain. "How you feeling?" Healed up or not, he was bound to be in same form of pain.

Art took a look around the camp, scoping out anything interesting. Everything was much better than it was earlier. Back when he'd arrived, everyone was in disarray, even the healers couldn't really cope with was going on, and people everywhere were in a critical condition. Now, there wasn't one life in danger as far as Art could see. Some were resting, others were drying off tears they shed when worried about the lives of loved ones, and everyone seemed a lot better than they'd been a few hours ago. Art smiled to himself, seeming to recall in his weakened state saying himself this stand would be the last. At the time, he wasn't sure if it would end in a win or a loss, but now he was so very grateful to see it as a win. Art looked down to himself when Eira spoke, grinning wide. "All thanks to you... I doubt I'd look any bit a perky if you weren't around when you were. Things... weren't looking too good." Art replied honestly. "Fragile." Art said with a little wince, "They've fixed me up, but the leg's going to take a while to mend, with or without magic." He explained, sighing. "But I'm alive, and I can't ask for anymore." He took a long look at Eira. She was pretty, of course Art had already mentioned that. But those eyes didn't do well to hide a sorrow and mourning that this girl seemed to carry. It made Art frown, "I've never had the chance to ask you so far... but, since you politely asked me, I'll ask you as well. How are you feeling?"

Weren't looking good indeed, heaven forbid what would have happened if she wasn't around, it was bad enough his state even when she found a way to cover the wound and slow down the blood flow, let alone if he was left alone to it. But Eira said nothing, she was just glad she was able to help out after everything really. But she did give a small smile, fragile yes, just like most others, but he was here, and really at the end of the day, that's the bit that counted. "Lots of rest then, and no over strenuous activity up till that point." Probably something he wouldn't listen to, but she had been telling everyone that, even with knowing most would ignore her. Giving Art a look, eyes widening at his words, she didn't know what to say, none had seen how things had effected her, and with using most magic on everyone else, it was taking its toll, just the memories of Shinda and her siblings... Not knowing if her parents even made it out alive was heavy, and once realising that, she broke, tears falling down her cheeks. "No, me and my family fought Mo alone... I lost everyone, and while its not permanent with most, they are missing. And my uncle dead, my parents no where to be found right now... I was suddenly found alone, and I don't know how to deal.."

Art chuckled, he didn't consider himself to be much of a strenuous guy anyway. He worked when it was necessary, but of course Art was more a man of words than only actions. He wouldn't consider himself lazy, because Art was always determined to do his best, but he never exhausted himself to get to his best. So, rest hopefully wouldn't be an issue. Of course there was a big problem with that at the moment, which Art couldn't focus on as Eira cried all of a sudden. He wished he could get to her fast, but Art could only hobble forwards slowly, offering a hand to her shoulder, rubbing it in comforting circles. He guessed it was family, Art wasn't too educated on the likes of Sun children, but he'd assumed is anyone was a child of the heavens, it was someone like Eira. Which meant she was a survivor of what happened to her family's village, that made Art's brow push together with sympathy. Art tried hushing her, giving a soft smile. "I'm sorry. It must be hard... well, no, I know it's hard." Art replied, limping closer, wiping some tears with his other hand now. "Have hope, that's what I'm doing right now. My Da's in a bad way because of that Dragon, and I haven't seen my Pa since he pretty much started this last fight, nor my sister... But, I've got hope that they'll find their own way." He explained. Art glanced around, smiling again. "We should do what everyone else is doing right now after all of this, and help each other. I'd be honoured to help you look for them?"
