Note: Soon after the meeting with Meinu, and after Exitium has done some other things, he returns to the ruins of his old castle to wait for Meinu to deliver.
Exitium had always played the hunter. A proud predator, like the mighty dragon, holding himself about all others. According only to his own laws, and obeying those of others should they benefit him. He took what he wanted, what blood he needed to be strived to hunt even more, and what was taken was taken without a second thought. He was a hunter who aimed for the top, to be the strongest of them all. And there was one thing Exitium understood in this dream of his. The greatest hunter would be alone, without equal, standing upon prey, dead or sworn to serve. And seeing himself in that position made Exitium growl in excitement, such a future was so close to his deathly cold grasp.
But it required patience, something Exitium had learnt to show, in the last few years of his life, where he'd remained ever hungry for power, but still patiently waiting for the right moment to strike. It was so close now, all of his dreams on vengeance were soon going to be realised, but still Exitium had to wait. And he picked a perfect spot to do so. Deep into the depths of Paludem, in the dark stone halls of his old castle, half ruined but still standing. He'd sent the girl off, Meinu, as he finally learnt her name, to fetch him Akvan, or a means to get the Sun child to Paludem so Exitium could end him. And end him properly, with no more games. With his new power, Exitium planned to blow the pest apart, forgotten as dust, and no longer able to mess with the King's plans. Exitium continued to muse, making his way to his throne room, glancing around at a few corpses of his old followers, now close to being skeletal. With a flick of his hand, they all rose, forming around the throne at the end of the room, and covering themselves over it. Exitium turned and sat on the improved throne, looking out and waiting, feeling the blissful nostalgia of all those he'd tortured in this very hall.

Meinu smirked as she knocked Mother out cold and began dragging her to Paludem, it was easy enough dragging mother away from everyone, under the words of finding one of her 'missing' siblings, far too gullible, but oh so perfect... Up until Mother realised that it was a trap, and began sprouting questions and ready to defend herself if need be, not wanting to harm one of her children. It was sickening really. But Meinu was too quick, and now she was dragging her along, Meinu only needed Mother to get Father here anyways, she could care less what happens to either. And she couldn't wait to see what ones of her siblings come looking, because even she wants a good fight every now and then, and all these petty humans were no match for her. When the ruins came into sight, Meinu quickened her pace before finally reaching Exitium, a man she decided was worthy to live when she destroyed the world, his power indescribable, and words even sweeter. Dropping the unconscious Chester at his feet, and making she was tied and secure to something, as for precautions when she awakens, Meinu gave a slight bow to Exitium and a smirk, he worthy enough to gain some form of respect from her. "I'm sure you know who this is... I've discovered that while Mother and Father haven't got along lately, he will still come after her, I'll make sure my other siblings cant intervene when they realise what has happened, and until then, have your fun, I could care less about what happens to the woman."

Exitium had plenty of patience for Meinu's return. He'd waited years prior to this, and he could gladly sit on his throne for a while longer. Absorbing the silence, the smell of decay around him, those silent screams of the lives lost to his powers, how all those souls were now warped around his left arm, making it hum beautifully with power. Exitium flexed the skeletal digits, playing with a little ball of green smoke just above them. His eyes darted to the door when he heard someone approach, resting his hand down, dark eyes glaring partly through his broken crown. Meinu approached, dropping someone to his feet, then bowing. Exitium gave her a nod, staring down at Chester in silence, for quite a few eerie minutes, before his dry and harsh voice purred into the quiet. "It's been some time, since lovely Chester has been in these halls. I do hope she remembers them, and all the fun we had here together." Exitium mumbled, rising to his feet. His left hand hovered over Chester's head, eager to crush it with one squeeze, but he glanced to Meinu and pulled away his hand, standing instead. "You say you have many siblings? What are their alignments? Willing to serve? I'm curious to know about any conflict between them." Exitium asked, before his eyes moved back to Chester. "So, he holds you at a distance now, does he? Far from being the hero, saving the weak little girl. I wonder though..." He paused, foot hovering over one of Chester's legs, "Will he still break through this castle to save you?" And then the foot was brought down, unnatural weight to it, given Exitium's sickly state, with a delightful crunch as it snapped the leg between at the knee joint.

Meinu could only imagine what happened in these halls, and each thought brought joy to her, and one day she hoped to bring such wonders back before the world ended. Meinu felt nothing when Exitium went near her mother, ready to kill, part of her wished it to happen, though she knew Chester was needed alive for this to work, smirking up to Exitium however, as he asked about the siblings, Meinu didn't even need to think about her answer. "Hebi would be willing to join us, he wishes for destruction as much as me. The rest of my siblings are difficult, going against our instinct to destroy. Cory will be easy to manipulate, and he will be perfect test subject for you as you know. Rebi will be easy to sway the second Luna is in our grasp, and that in itself is probably the easiest task we have. Yasmin will be difficult, but she can convinced... Comet, well, he's been sorted. The others however, Mori and Fawn, they wouldn't, its against their morals. As for Void, Eira and Draiko... Well those three we need to kill as soon as we see them, their loyalty to mother and father, as well as each other is sickening. And it'll be those three who will come after Chester first. And Eira, curious little sister, she's never trusted me or Hebi, and with that neither has Draiko, those two are connected at the hip most days, twins and all... To kill one would destroy the other." Meinu didn't watch her siblings enough to know much more, but she knew them well enough for this information, and she was already doing what she could to gain others on their team. Meinu smiled as Exitium spoke to mothers unconscious form, Akvan would come, she knew this, even as a sense of doing the right thing, or because one of the others begged, but he would. The crunch of the broken leg was beauty to her ears, but the pained scream that followed was music to her mind and soul... Let the fun begin.

There were so many of the little pests now. First just one annoying Sun child, now thirteen. Exitium liked it for the sake of those he could manipulate or use, like Meinu and her younger brother Cory. But some made his stomach turn. Those similar to their father, Exitium just hoped they'd be as easy to crush as Akvan hopefully would be. But Exitium was expecting some fun at first, in taking down his enemy. If he'd learnt anything, striking Chester more and more made Akvan stronger, angrier, and easier to play with. It was all just a repeat of the last time Exitium had Chester's company in his castle, so he assumed. He growled a little, "So many of you, I've learnt over time that more subjects doesn't mean more power... but.. having more Weapons does." Exitium smirked slightly, "I'll happily take only your brother Cory as my tool, but... perhaps over time I might get greedy." He added, looking back down to Chester. The snap of her leg certainly woke her up, a scream Exitium knew well. He tutted, moving around slowly to the other leg, giving it the same treatment. Both broken, no way of leaving, other than to crawl along the floor. "I've broken you many times, Chester. It makes me wonder what use you are to this world, so weak and fragile." Exitium knelt down, right hand moving and grasping some hair, pulling her head up. "You're just a doll now, thrown between people who would use and break you for the sake of drawing him out." Exitium purred, holding his breath for a moment. He then frowned. Odd, it had just been moments, but he'd assume he'd sense Akvan's presence by now, or notice it as the man destroyed his castle once more. He waited another moment, before growling, tossing Chester down by the hair. Exitium took a step back, energy humming from his left hand. It snapped and cracked like a green flame, before Exitium fired it towards Chester, aiming to kill her or almost do so, and expected it to be thwarted at the last moment. And it did, rather than seeing a flash of green, the ball of sickening flames was dissipated by a golden glow. The lights subsided and Exitium grinned as a figure slowly appeared, misty form dragging itself out from the small ring around Chester's finger.

Chester was lost to what happened, as it all happened in a blur, one moment everyone set out looking for Comet who had once again disappeared, but this time for the wrong reasons. Next she's following Meinu and suddenly darkness. She guessed that maybe Eira had been right, and Meinu wasn't to be trusted, believing in the Sun Goddess more then her own immediate family, but Chester held hope, and now once again she was waking up screaming being captured. She did not expect to be seeing Exitium however, and she hoped it was a trick of a pain induced mind, but with the second snap, pull of her hair and that voice, Chester knew it was him, and a shiver travelled along her spine, before eyes turned glossy, not from pain, not the physical kind anyways. She gave a weak chuckle, one held of all emotion as she gave a sad, broken smile. "You had my daughter capture me, so that you can draw out Akvan?" Chester gave a laugh as her head slammed again the floor when Exitium got annoyed, before looking up. "He wont come, he doesn't love me anymore, ha-ha, I broke him, so go ahead, kill me, I've been trying to do exactly that for months now." Chester gave another broken chuckle, smiling as Exitium readied another attack. She didn't call on Akvan, she knew he wouldn't come, too many times had he played knight in shining armour for her and gotten hurt... And now he hates her, why would he do so again? In her haze, Chester missed the gold light, glad that it was all finally over, Akvan had their kids now, and they had him... They would all be just fine without their screw up of a mother.

As lonely as the dark void that existed inside of the ring felt, it was somewhat peaceful. Without a physical body, Akvan could just float around in it, lost in thought, able to rest and forget about the world as much as he wanted. There was no sense of time in here, Akvan would have to peer out of the ring and into the living world to find out how long it had been, but he was deserving of a rest after being out so long, so didn't look. But all of a sudden, things shook. Which was odd considering this was supposed to be a void, for it to shake so suddenly confused the spirit. Begrudgingly, he took a look outside of the ring. And Akvan was hit with a lot of emotion. Surprise, fear, and then anger. He heard a voice, dark and broken, but still powerful and easily recognised. Exitium purred, hurting Chester further, and causing the void to shake again. So this was the tingling Akvan had been avoiding for months. Every time Chester happened to hurt herself, Akvan would feel a chill down his back, and his head go dizzy. It was more obvious when inside the ring, that it was his 'pledge' to his wielder making him aware of their danger. And he couldn't exactly ignore it this time, not when it was Exitium attacking, and Chester was in some actual danger here. Akvan heard their words, and they'd make him glare if he was a physical being right now, it almost made him feel like hiding. But, he couldn't. When Exitium planned to kill Chester with an attack, the Weapon knew he couldn't just sit and watch now. Forcing himself from the ring, Akvan's hand quickly smashed the ball of flames away, dissipating it in the process. In the flash of light, he quickly took solid form, standing in the fading smoke of the flames, glaring towards Exitium. "You woke me up." Akvan spat towards the Demon, taking in his new look. And looking at all the death Exitium carried with him made Akvan a little sick. His eye moved though, next looking towards Meinu. "Kidnapping your o-own mother? ... Meinu... we'll b-be having words w-when we get home." He warned, and the eye moved once more, finally looking to Chester. "Stop acting l-like you know how I feel." He said, before sighing heavily, "I'm beginning t-to lose count h-how many times I've had t-to save you. Well... I suppose that's my only p-purpose now. You s-should stop acting s-so weak. You made me into a-a weapon, learn t-to use me." Akvan suggested, words seemed harsh, but they didn't carry all that much bitterness to them. He raised a hand, glowing with golden light, to aim and heal Chester, before his flinched, seeing out of the corner of his vision something moving quickly towards him from behind, then to his right, then all around the Sun Weapon.

Exitium was expecting his attack to be blocked, but he didn't expect the man parrying it to be appearing from Chester's ring. But Exitium didn't really care about his entrance, Akvan was here now, and it made Exitium smirk ear to ear. He waited, for the man to finish glaring. Of course, Exitium wasn't exactly just standing there. Once Akvan's gaze moved, Exitium looked to his throne, to the corpses draped over it. A flick of his fingers, and they shuddered, slowly and silently rising. Some crawled, others wandered forwards, strafing to the sides as they vanished into the shadows. Then, once they had Akvan surrounded, Exitium commanded them all to attack. All the dead Demons struck out, with claws or teeth. Exitium chuckling as he watched. It seemed there were some new changes to Akvan. One eye, and one arm, Exitium had seen those and planned ahead. He assumed that with one eye, the Sun child would see less, and he assumed correctly. Then, by attacking on all sides, he knew with one arm, Akvan could only do so much to defend himself from it. The Sun child did block all the attacks, sending corpses flying away, but it left him open. And with a crackle and an explosion, a new burst of green flames spat from Exitium's hand, striking directly at Akvan, knocking him down and burning his flesh. "I'm afraid I'm not really here to mock you, old friend. Or taunt you by hurting your loved one. I simply want you dead, so I'm sorry if I'm a little rushed, I have been waiting to do this four years." Exitium explained, slowly walking over to the burning body, waiting to see the last flicker of life leave it. But, instead, Exitium's feet stopped, as Akvan instead burst into a laughter. "Really?" Akvan rasped, "Well, if it's my d-death you want, then I'm afraid y-you'll be w-waiting a lot longer than f-four years, old friend." He added, as Exitium watched in confusion and frustration as the Sun child got up, flames subsiding to reveal no damage at all, what burns where there slowly began to heal and vanish.

Why was it the one time she didn't want Akvan coming after her, was the one time he appeared? Chester just didn't care anymore, and she wished he did stay behind, she didn't want him to be harmed because of her again, even if he couldn't die. She sent him a glare at his words, tears spilling over as she gave a broken chuckle and used the strength she had to turn away from him. "Acting? You know how weak I am. And I told you, I wont use this power, I promised you your freedom and that's exactly what you have. You should just leave me here to die, it will make everyone so much happier." Chester was through trying to be strong, trying to be something she wasn't, too many times had she fucked up, and now when she finally gets her end, its ripped away. Karma she supposed, for what she did to Akvan, at least she now knows how he feels. She didn't watch what was going on, knowing that Akvan couldn't die, and would most likely run, not bound to her, she was even willing to give him the ring if it meant he could escape, but a bitter laugh erupted from her as Exitium realised the truth, and she turned once more as to see his face. "I told you, Exitium, I broke him." Chester looked to Exitium, emotionless as she laughed once more, just as pained and bitter as the first time. "Akvan cant die anymore, he's a weapon, a man bound to the world... No matter how hard you try, Akvan will just keep getting up... I did that to him, tried to save him from death, I couldn't lose him again... I still did, but this time I fucked up in the worst of ways and drove him away... I made him immortal, with no way to reverse it." Chester knew all anger would be taken out on her, and she knew Akvan would most likely have given up trying to save her again, she just hoped that he would be able to save their kids, and not let the fuck up of their mother cause issues between his relationship with them.

He didn't even look in pain. Exitium couldn't even hear the cry of pain that he wanted from Akvan. And for the first time, Exitium's fists clenched, and he felt furious. He was about to ask questions, demand to know what was going on, why a pest like Akvan was immortal? Then, Chester answered for him. She did this, she made him into a Sun weapon, existing to serve another, and unable to ever die. It crushed Exitium's plans, and his head hung, skull covering his eyes. The plan was ruined, all the revenge Exitium planned for was gone, and who knew if Akvan would continue to meddle with his plans now, since he couldn't exactly be stopped from doing so. And.. it seemed he didn't really care for Chester as much, there was a rift there. Or so Exitium assumed. His eyes moved over to Chester, and the air became suddenly heavy. And, no matter their current feelings, everyone would shudder at the very look Exitium gave the Demon woman. Pure hatred, evil thick like mud, and a hunger for pain that it would bring a sickening pain to their stomachs. Chester had ruined things, broken one of Exitium's toys, and he planned to make her pay for it. There was a attempt about to be made from Akvan, sensing the serious change in the air, and about to go defend the woman, but Exitium moved his hand. A collapsed pillar, broken into a giant shard, was thrust through the air, and in but a breathless moment it had impaled the immortal pest, jammed through his stomach and driving him into a wall, keeping him there. Exitium's hand lowered, and his blood-lust eyes returned to Chester. "Are you immortal too?" He whispered, glancing to his group of corpses, forcing them to rise again. Slowly they swarmed around Chester this time. Before she could block it, one took a snap at her neck, taking a chunk of the flesh from the woman's collar. "Are you?" Exitium asked, louder. Exitium went silent, breathing heavily and spitting a little blood as he just left the corpses to bite at her for a bit. Eventually, after even Exitium grew tired of the screams, he ordered them away, glaring up to the impaled Akvan. "You can't die, but you can still suffer, Sun Weapon... Is this enough?" Exitium asked, pointing towards Chester. "Does her pain reach you?! Or... Or should I do MORE?"

Finally sweet release, she didn't flinch when Exitium turned on her, nor as the corpses surrounded her body... She did scream however at the pain of flesh being bitten off, none could ignore such a pain, especially someone as weak as her. Breath was coming short, but she didn't care, Akvan would finally be free of her, something he most likely wanted, and Eira and Void already was told they could look after her ring when she went, knowing they would look after it so, making sure their father never fell into terrible hands. She wasn't immortal, once she wished she was, when she did this awful thing to her husband, but knowing how he hated her, she was glad she wasn't, not wanting to like forever with such a pain. When they finally stopped, Chester took a moment to breath, and voice small and pined, barely reaching Akvan and Exitium she spoke. "Suffer? Like I said, he doesn't care anymore, he's only doing what instincts tell him to Exitium. Your efforts are futile" Chester coughed up blood before continuing, needing to say her last few words to Akvan. "I wont apologise for bringing you back... But I am sorry for how it had to happen, I just couldn't go on without you, you mean everything to me, I was blinded, and should have thought properly. Goodnight Akvan, take care of our children and remember that I will never stop loving you." Chester allowed her eyes to close, not dead, but too weak and exhausted to remain awake any longer, though she was sure soon enough that slumber will be interrupted by more pain, something she was waiting for.

Akvan messed up enough times to grin and bear it. But he watched the atmosphere change, the look Exitium gave him and Chester, and he knew this wasn't just a game anymore. Exitium was going to kill, and he was going to do it in his unique and horrible way. Even as cold as he felt towards Chester right now, Akvan didn't want her to be his main interest. But, the moment Akvan moved, his feet got one step before he was flung backwards, impaled into a wall, unable to cry as the pillar had torn right into his chest, destroying whatever he could even talk with. It hurt, but quickly the pain subsided and Akvan was simply just stuck there, perfect view of Exitium's merciless acts. It made him shudder watching, more than just the fact that Akvan senses all pain his wielder experienced, but he didn't do anything or struggle yet. A dark and miserable part of Akvan made him stay still and just watch it happen, watch the undead corpses bite into Chester. Because that nagging, depressed part felt like... this was her punishment. His eye glazed over, accepting it, until words finally broke through to him. She apologised. Not for bringing him back, but for how it was done. And Akvan was too desperate to just accept Chester again to refuse the apology. His knuckles cracked as Akvan clenched his hand into a fist, bringing it down onto the pillar, though it didn't budge. He struggled around the impaling stone, watching Chester collapse, and Exitium prepare his last strike. Deciding that there was no getting out of this in his physical body, Akvan turned into mist. He flew quickly over, repeating a previous action by once again deflect Exitium's attacks, reforming and glaring towards him, now stood between the Demon and his wife. Akvan stood his ground silently, but his mind was with Chester, a voice sent directly into her mind, like he'd done when she'd first discovered their children.
"Sorry was all I needed. You stubborn, stupid woman. I love you."
The message was sent, along with some soothing magic, it should keep Chester safe and stable, not healed, just not dying. Akvan finally spoke out loud, to Exitium, and Meinu wherever she lurked. "One d-day, fate will take Chester from me... and I'll h-have to accept it. But... you're n-not taking her from me today, or ever." Akvan stated, giving Exitium the same, blood-desiring glare he'd given Chester, following it with his own flame attack.

Brief bit from Meinu in this reply, as to save a post from her just reacting to Chester, so feel free to make up what the brothers are doing in this reply.
Eira was in enough worry at the disappearance of Comet, and this time it wasn't Draiko's fault, but when mother went off with Meinu and hadn't been heard from since, they knew they had lost Meinu to the need to destroy and that she had something planned. Her sudden arrival after weeks of being missing was enough that they should have seen the signs. Eira left to find mother, knowing that Meinu wasn't a sibling to be messed with, and with that came Draiko, and Void, in just as much worry. The others remained looking out for Comet, Nanari having already been asked to watch the others too, and with that so was the kind lady that Eira briefly met when meeting mother the first time. It wasn't difficult to find Meinu, the destroyed landscape and rubble creating a clear path, as if it was intended to be found. Eira wasn't silly enough to enter without caution, but in seeing mother bleeding on the ground, a man in the middle of a fight with her father and Meinu off to the side just watching, both the fight and them. Eira barely heard her scream of "Mother!" erupt from her lips, but she felt her feet skid to a halt as a shiver went up her back and she faced Meinu holding out her hand ready to attack her brothers. "Meinu... Please, were your family..." Meinu didn't listen, as the gold string went hurdling towards the others necks. "NO!"

Draiko had no idea anything was wrong. Meinu was missing for a while, but he'd talked to her about once in his lifetime, so didn't care much. When Comet disappeared, for once not Draiko's fault, his attention had been towards finding his younger brother, especially before his father got involved, causing an argument between the two once more. So Draiko spent his time looking, helping and getting along with his mother as he did. Then she went missing too, and Draiko could just sense Eira was going to end up in trouble looking for her. So he followed his sister, and Void followed Draiko. Together, all three wound up in Dranar, a place they'd visited not long ago with their father, and then to the darker parts of the lands.
Finally to a castle, of all places, where all things were losing control. A fight, usually something that stirred up Draiko's heart and willed his body to move and fight as well, but this time, he hesitated. Draiko saw his mother injured, his father fighting a losing battle against many, and Meinu, off to the side. Eira called out first, Void not speaking, but aiming to run to their mother's aid. Draiko got his sword ready, his mind connecting what dots the warrior could, seeing this as a fight for revenge. The skull wearing man had hurt mother, and now father was fighting for vengeance. And Draiko wasn't going to be left out. He drew his sword, commanding more to appear, and went to catch up to his father. He'd not expected Meinu to attack, certainly not at him. It would have hit him in the side, had Void not shoved him away, taking the attack himself. Of course, Void being how he was, the gold string hit him, and immediately disappeared, no damage done. "Meinu... what is going on?" Void asked, voice trembling, the eldest looking to the one he'd known the longest as if heartbroken. Draiko however, glared her way. "You want to challenge us, sister?" His muttered, gusts of wind making their way into the room now from Draiko's building fury. "Then try it!" Draiko commanded all his swords, all of them, to charge at Meinu, who even after this one action was already considered an enemy. They would have attacked, if Void hadn't put his hand on Draiko's shoulder, nullifying his magic and causing the swords to vanish, shaking his head whilst trying to stop the tears. "Don't, Draiko." He mumbled, but Draiko just glared back, attempting to shove Void away.

Meinu watched the confrontations, smirking to herself over how she was right, and how this was getting her into Exitium's good book, though she knew that things would end badly when the weapon truth came out, something Meinu knew, but not what it caused. But still, watching mother get beaten, and Exitium move onto her wasn't a total lost, and she watched with cold and indifferent eyes, not caring for the events going on. What did pike her interest is when her beloved siblings arrived, and she didn't hesitate to send a gold stream of light towards her brother, not caring for dear little sister, she couldn't harm Meinu, she was already calm after all. "The world needs to be destroyed Void. Its in our blood... I simply found someone willing to help me with this feat, and all he asked for in return was dear beloved father... I thought the best way to get him here was by using mother as bait... Worked didn't it?" Meinu gave them a smug look, before sending another gold thread towards them, this time aiming at Eira, knowing how the others would get angry with her then, more so then already. "Wont really be much of a fight... Your weak Draiko, and both of you have liabilities... Mother, Father, baby Eira here... Comet... Cory... Oh how I cant wait to use them, the plans... Oh such sweet plans..." Meinu gave a laugh before looking to Void, the eldest, and the one who she knew was effected the most by this. "Oh dear older brother, don't cry... Your last moments don't want to be you feeling the tear tracks down your face do they? At least go out fighting..."
