Tenshi had ran the second Mitasu was defeated, heading back to Shiro to hide out in the comfort of her room. She was ashamed to admit that she couldn't fight, couldn't decipher that they weren't real, because they looked too similar, acted too right, guess that's what she gets for facing off against an enemy that lived in her time, that she faced herself back when she was most powerful. Tenshi knew someone, namely Hane would find her, him in particular demanding answers as to why she acted like she did. She wouldn't know what to say when that happened, besides telling whoever it was everything, start to finish, something she hasn't even trusted in Mo, and he knew most of what happened from experience. Hiding in the comfort of her bed, under the covers away from the world, in a hope to put off the inevitable for as long as possible, though she knew that wouldn't be long from now. All Tenshi could hope right now is that whoever came to question her, again most likely Hane, wouldn't hate her for the lack in fighting, and the break down, nor question too much into whatever she decides to uncover about those times.

Nightmares were over, and yet everyone still suffered. Watching everything ended by the powerful jaws that had destroyed Mitasu, everyone didn't know what to think or do. They all left in their own times, no doubt, but Hane had left before anyone else, and only just after Tenshi. She'd left with a new scar on her heart, and although she was no longer his Queen, Hane felt a duty to help heal it. Kakushin had given the man a nod, and that was all Hane required to take his swift leave. A comfortable flight back to Aura, Hane's Sun badge keeping him safe, and Hane remembered his gratitude for it well. Shiro was silent, there was no need for anyone to be working today. So Hane quickly found his way around the ghost castle, knowing Tenshi well enough to know where she was hiding. Hane didn't want to disturb her when she was suffering, but the Guard needed to say some things, things that needed to be said for at least clarity. He took a few breaths, hovering near the door to her room. "T... Tenshi, I'm aware this is a sore time for you, but..." Hane trailed off, how hard the words felt to come out with. For once in the Guard's long life he was hesitant. But this was a fragile situation, one that needed Hane to reach into the topic he lacked in the most, comforting others. "But, there are things I'd like to discuss... if, you would wish to do so. If not you... then I must at least clarify things for us to both understand."

Tenshi jumped a little when hearing Hane, not expecting it so soon. She closed her eyes and bundled more into the covers, silently hoping he would go away, but after hearing what he had to say, she knew he wouldn't until as he says some things are explained. Groaning softly, Tenshi made her way off the bed, covers joining her as she headed to the door, the duvet covering all but her face. She probably looked a wreck, and nothing as anyone has ever seen her, but right now she couldn't care less. Opening the door wide, Tenshi gave a look to Hane, one of defeat and anguish, before gesturing him in, and shutting the door behind him. "Might as well discuss it now and get the inevitable over with huh?" Tenshi didn't even recognise herself, this fight having took more out of her then she realised, and she knows it shouldn't have, not to this extent, but Tenshi just couldn't help it. Jumping onto the bed, wrapping the cover tighter around her, Tenshi looked to Hane. "Make yourself at home." She tried to give a small smile, but she knew it was forced, and she didn't need to look into a mirror to tell how fake it was too. "So... Look, I will answer any questions, today, but just understand I may need a moment to think and to prepare myself for them."

Hane waited in silence, keeping his head on the light seeping through the gap of the door. When he heard shuffling, the Guard took a step back, and looked up to Tenshi. He hesitated for a moment, just looking up at Tenshi's state. It had only been a few moments since she'd arrived here. Hane swallowed down his previous urges, always one to help the Queen look her best. But Tenshi wasn't a Queen anymore, and that was something open for discussion soon. Hane kept words to himself for now, nodding his thanks to the woman before silently entering. He'd spent enough time in this room, cleaning it almost daily for the Queen, to make sure she didn't trip or lose anything. So Hane knew where he could sit, but couldn't bring himself to relax quite yet. Tenshi needed his help, evident by her appearance, help as a listener, and as a speaker. And Hane needed to focus on everything, so remained standing in his usual manner. Hane gave Tenshi a moment, thinking on her offer, before all of a sudden, Hane dropped to his knee in a bow. "If I am permitted to speak.." Hane began, before realising his out of habit mistake. The Guard was almost back to believing he was talking to his ruler, thought was quick to discover his mistake, rising to his feet. "I would like to rephrase... While you take a moment to think, Tenshi. Allow me to share my opinion." Hane requested, before placing his hands over his chest, and looking near Tenshi, but not quite at her. "It was during today's events, that I was enlightened to a truth that had somehow continues to slip my knowing. You were suffering, and I wanted nothing more than to help ease it. However, this was much unlike any previous determinations I'd once had. Of course, as Queen, I wanted to protect you as my supreme duty and honour. But..." Hane paused. "But, even though your inspiring reign over Angelic kind has ended, I still feel just as determined to keep you safe, in fact, perhaps more so. Until recent events, I refused to believe that my views were anything but professional, however it seems I am wrong again in that aspect. I wished to protect you, due to... personal feelings, feelings I have not felt fully since being mortal. Whilst they are old and worn down, I still understand these feelings. They are of friendship. I view you, Tenshi as a friend, in fact my closest friend. And because of that, I feel a need to help you, not out of duty, but out of simply wanting to." Hane took a good few breaths, finally looking to Tenshi again, with the slightest hint of a smile on his face. "I would not pressure you into opening wounds of the past, they've already been damaged today. But, to help, I must first know. How is it, that you know those illusions Mitasu created, who are they?"

Tenshi gave a small, non audible chuckle as Hane bowed before realising his mistake. She was queen for so long that she couldn't really blame him for it being of habit, even if it was one she tried to get out of him even when she ruled. She said nothing as he spoke his opinion, besides the light nod to let him continue, but through out, she allowed her cocoon of a cover fall so that it pooled around her waist, and gave a light smile at his words, feeling happier then she had all day. "Dear little Hane finally admitting he considers someone a friend?" Tenshi knew he would get the hidden implication behind the jab, seeing as she gave a smile and light laugh at it, because in all honesty, she couldn't be more grateful to him right now, and knew that once this was out the way and she was back on her feet, she would find a way to show him how much. Taking a breath, Tenshi looked to Hane with a sad smile, knowing this conversation could go on a while. "Its... Okay. I'm ready to share this. I think. And I know I can trust you, because not even Mo knows the whole story..." Taking another breath, Tenshi tilted her head back and sighed. "Its a long story... An emotional one, so get comfy, we might be here a while." Giving Hane a moment to move, she decided that giving the basics for now would be best, and going into detail would come with more questions later on, at least then she knew what to expect. "The three who were with Mitasu. Iruka, Sakana and Sayo... Iruka and Sakana were two of my best friends, there whenever I needed them, could tell them anything, they were like family to me. Probably knew then almost at birth, our parents being friends." Those two were the easiest to talk about, though not by much... It was Sayo, and Rifi, Tenshi knew she would struggle with. "Sayo... Sayo was a Demon we helped rescue. She... She became my little sister." Tenshi could feel the tears threaten to fall. "I helped her learn, helped her grow, she was a huge part of my world, had to keep her identity hidden from that man..." Tenshi felt her throat close up just thinking of him, and the tears properly fall now. "The one you fought... Rifi..." Tenshi froze when saying his name, all the memories rushing back, and her eyes blurred with tears, and breath laboured from crying too much. "Ri-Ri-Rifi was my e-e-e-every th-th-thing. Best friend turned l-l-lover. The baby... Oh gods my miscarriage baby... His baby..." Tenshi couldn't go on just yet, her body shaking and face wet from her tears. "S-s-s-s-sorry."

Hane huffed, face dropping to the usual scowl, though a small flush over his cheeks. "Yes, well... It has been over two centuries since my last friendship, forgive the rust to my understanding." He muttered as a reply. He'd got Tenshi to smile though, beyond his own embarrassment that was enough at least. He felt honoured to have Tenshi's trust in this, more than her longest-term friend, and the Guard looked around, settling down into a seat. "Take you time with this, I can understand it isn't easy." Hane replied, keeping his face mute of emotion, for Tenshi's benefit. Hane noted all of Tenshi's friends, the Angel ones and the Demon sister she once had. Though, something had obviously befallen them, all three meeting an end that made their stories so hard for Tenshi to tell. Hane was almost distracted thinking about possible scenarios whilst listening, that he was surprised when looking up to see Tenshi crying. Hane had gotten up, though stood awkwardly and with panicked breath, unable to think on how to exactly help other than listen. Though, he felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. So Rifi was the one Hane had fought before Tenshi, and taken a hit from. It hurt Hane, to know that the man meant so much to Tenshi, and the Guard struggled to remember that what he'd destroyed was simply an illusion of Tenshi's former lover. How he'd felt when taking down his own friends, only amplified for Tenshi. Hane slowly sat down, silently, though looked up for Tenshi's apology. "There is no need for an apology, though I feel the need to express my apologies. I had no idea how close they were to you, and it was I who destroyed them. And I do not know now, how to help ease these pains, Tenshi, other than continue to listen. Take your time, and explain anything you want to let out to me, and I would promise to understand."

Tenshi didn't blame Hane for taking down the re creations of her old family, in fact, she was very grateful to him. Though it hurt a little inside to watch them suddenly disappear once more, she knew deep down having them there was so much worse, and Tenshi knew fighting them herself was never an option, Hane was her saving grace this time around, though she would never tell him that in those exact words. Controlling her tears before speaking again, Tenshi gave Hane a sad smile, shifting on the bed in a silent question for him to sit beside her. It being so much easier to tell him the next part without looking directly at him. "Thank you, for destroying them. Though they looked and sounded the same, they were not, and I couldn't be more grateful to you for putting down the copies." Taking a breath, Tenshi knew this piece of information she was next to tell, wasn't the best to take in. "There is one other thing to mention, before I will find it easier to answer your questions instead of trying to find the words to explain myself. But there was one other person I considered family, he was in short my brother in law... A Demon, who went by the name of Shinda... Ikiru rescued him, and helped him learn... A little too well, considering that man did something to send Shinda off the deep end, and later cause the war..." It was a sad sort of bitterness when she mentioned Shinda. She hated him for all he did, all he has done. But at the same time, she understood partially the reasoning behind it all, just not to the extent he showed it, considering how many others he had to help him through the grief. But she knew others wouldn't understand that reasoning, not unless they had experienced the same thoughts once.

Hane looked to Tenshi as she shuffled, then to the space made for him by her side. He waited until she was speaking again, too hesitant to take up the offer immediately, and moved over to the Angel's side. He kept his gaze looking forward, or to the side, and only listening to Tenshi for now. "It is true that although I sincerely apologise, I would go back and do the same, even when knowing. But... I understand the pain of seeing those close to you destroyed." Hane didn't ask anymore, curiously listening as Tenshi spoke more of her past. Hane felt privileged to hear it, but could also feel the weight of the situation placed on him, just knowing what kind of past Tenshi had. The Guard frowned, feeling like he'd heard such a name before. Tenshi spoke it with a darkened tone, as if the name was that of a curse, and not a Demon she'd once considered family. To hear, however, what this Demon had done, Hane to work hard to stop himself from immediately hating them. They had meant a great deal to Tenshi, one lifetime, so Hane would respect that. "That name... am I wrong to believe I've heard it before?" Hane asked, muttering his words into the quiet atmosphere. "Also, though feel free to not answer this proceeding question... what happened to them, all of them?"

Tenshi could only guess Hane went through the same kind of thing in his nightmare, having known him for so long she knew he came out affected, but she would keep quiet about it for his sake, if he wanted to talk, he knew she was always there for him. By the time she had finished talking, Tenshi felt tired, the events of today catching up, though she also knew she wouldn't be able to fall asleep anytime soon, for now, she placed her head on Hane's shoulder, hesitantly at first in case he really felt uncomfortable with her doing so, before taking a shallow breath. "I'm sure you have heard the name before... He has, caused many problems for us in this life as well. I've been looking for him, in my free moments, afraid of what he may do if he manages to return like Mitasu, but I have had no luck." The second question caught Tenshi off guard, and she had to take a moment to close her eyes and calm herself. Taking yet another breath, she gripped hard onto the cover on her lap. "Shinda... He, he killed them... All of them. I still cant decide if he meant to or not. He... He almost killed me. Well, after he took Rifi away, he didn't stop, and took my baby too, she, she saved my physical body... But I did die that day on the inside anyways. He took everything..." Tenshi could feel tears dropping down her face once more, but could no longer care, the impact of his actions still so strong in memory even after all these years. "I always wondered if they made it to their better place, if they remembered me after all these years, if my child grew there, her father, aunts and uncle to guide her. And then some days I believe it as wishful thinking, a way to make the loss easier, to bury how I really feel for a moment..."

Hane tensed up to feel Tenshi on his shoulder, not like he wasn't used to the ex-Queen latching onto him in hugs and such. But, this felt a little different, perhaps after Hane's revelation that appointed Tenshi as his official friend, he knew that he wasn't letting her behaviour towards him stand because she was Queen and he couldn't argue, but because he honestly didn't mind it. So the guard soon relaxed, letting Tenshi use him as a rest as she got this story off her chest. "Yes, that Mitasu spoke of his return, did she not?" Hane replied, asking a question that needed not to be answered, as it was Hane's thoughts out loud. But, even Hane's thoughts went silent, when Tenshi explained further. This Demon she held so dearly, he was the reason for Tenshi's suffering. And he tried to kill her too. Hane withheld his own anger, thinking just what this foolish Demon had done to his friend, caused her suffering she'd carried for so long. But, finally Hane addressed his own opinion. "I do not think he ended your life all that time ago Tenshi. Or rather, I hope it is not so. Whilst my experience of this stretched life isn't as pulled thin as yours, I know that there is always more to life. More people to add to it, even when you feel empty and lifeless, that mortal life around you continues to make you realise that not everything is lost." Hane stated, knowing that a life time ago, this was the exact lesson her highness was giving Hane, when he was refusing to follow his own immortal life and wanting to give up. Hane almost smiled, "I remember the Queen of Angels once told me that my old friends were watching me from above, living in peace amongst those who share the lands of the Sun Goddess. I am sure those you hold dear are there as well, continuing to watch you."

The second Tenshi had calmed down from todays events, she would be upping her search for Shinda, he needed to be stopped before he even began, and if Mitasu knew he was back, then none were safe until he was dead. She knew she would need help, and as much as she cared for Mo she knew she would have to keep her search quiet from him, hopefully able to rely on Hane, and possibly Akvan. But for now, she didn't want to dwell on it. Giving a small chuckle at Hane's words, she was reminded of the times their roles were reversed, how it was normally Tenshi who had the insightful help. "Your right. Though I did die that day, I was granted new life, and in time, I got to meet so many other people who have wormed their way into my old heart... One of the most important figures having helped me realise that." Tenshi couldn't be more grateful to Hane, for everything he has done for her over the years. And as much as she loved and cared for Mo, Hane had a special place in her heart, she was the only one to see this side of him after all. Giving a bright smile though, probably the first real one today. "I would very much so like to believe that, some days its difficult, considering how they died before the Sun Goddess intervened. But I have hope they are out there, and if they so happen to be in the same place, I'm sure they calling me an idiot right now." Giving a small chuckle at the thought, Tenshi moved so she could look at Hane once more. "Thank you, for this. It means more to me then you will ever know."

Hane let go of his held breath, hearing Tenshi agree with him. It felt relieving to hear from her, along with with the soft chuckle. Hane didn't know what compelled him to want such a thing from Tenshi, but it never felt normal when she was truly upset like this. Hane made a noise, between a huff and a chuckle, which ended with a slight red flush over his cheeks, for Tenshi to address him specifically as most important. "Yes well, I was also granted a new life. Whilst I lost some friends, I... gained new ones, perhaps ones that I didn't know were so close to me at first." Hane replied, clearing his throat to try and clear out the heat on his face. Hane imagined what his friends probably thought of him. Perhaps, they didn't even recognise Hane anymore. His appearance hadn't changed, but he was no social butterfly anymore, like the one they knew. "They would hardly call you an idiot your maj- Tenshi..." Hane replied, "No fool would care so deeply for others, or for mere illusions of the ones they once knew. They would be proud of your lasting compassion." The Guard looked to Tenshi for a moment, averting his gaze when she gave him thanks. "I will always be there for you," Hane answered, sincerely, though still looking elsewhere, "before, it was out of eternal gratitude and duty. But now, it is my own personal desire to help you Tenshi, even if it is to just lend an ear."

Tenshi let a predatory smirk cross her cheeks when looking at Hane, seeing the slight flush on his cheeks. Moving in close, she grabbed his face and gave a light chuckle and pout. "Awwh is little Hane blushing? What an adorable shade of red." Moving back, Tenshi prepared herself for whatever he had to say or do for that little comment, an amused smile plastered on her face. But there was something else she had to add to that mix of teasing. "You have plenty of people who consider you their friend... And lets not forget about Kaku, he is like your son after all..." Tenshi just laughed, glad to be rid of the tears Mitasu brought, now even able to find jokes within what happened. "Oh they would be calling me an idiot alright, but that's just who they are... But I know they would only be joking around. Making jokes about how I shouldn't have and all that." It was nice to think of them like this for a change, rather then with tears, it kept them alive more. Though she expected she could only do this around Hane. Now, Tenshi gave a small smile and felt her cheeks heat up a little as Hane told her he would be there for her, happy to be seeing this side of him, knowing he didn't, if ever show it often. And he would always lend more then just an ear to her... He, after so long, let her discover love again, which was strange, considering he's the complete opposite of Rifi... "I always here for you as well. And you have always done much more then then lend an ear, and will continue to do so. So thank, once again."

There must be some sort of harsh, natural instinct for one to blush even more when someone noticed them doing so, as Hane felt his face warm up. He swatted his hand just too late to catch Tenshi from pinching his face, and huffed in his usual manner. "It is not a blush... your room is just too hot, since someone never opens the windows unless I suggest it to them." Hane replied quickly, shuffling to face away. "And his majesty is not my son. He is my best student turned King, so naturally I am proud of what he's achieved, but only as a teacher." The Guard added, taking a deep breath afterwards. Hane came out with a lot of excuses most of the time, and most of the time, he spoke them rapidly, as well as harshly. "Besides, being related to his majesty would be distracting and exhausting. It's already making me feel old just as his Royal guard, looking after that mongrel son of his... I suppose now there will be two children, whom the King will no doubt assign me to look after." Hane stated. Hane could understand Tenshi's friends, he supposed after his claim earlier, he should act similar to them. But that required Hane to be less serious, which was a trait Hane couldn't dull down no matter the circumstances. Hane felt privileged to have Tenshi by his side, and it warmed his cold heart, something the Angel guard didn't experience, ever. He stopped himself getting flustered again, looking across the ground and streaks of sunlight coming from the windows. "Whatever I have done, it will never be enough to repay you for saving my life. Even if I am not under your service as the Queen's royal Guard, I will continue to try and repay that debt."

Tenshi gave a large chuckle at hearing Hane quickly refuse her words. She could tell he was lying, the excuses sharp on his tongue, and this was definitely something she could call him out for, besides, it was amusing watching him get so flustered. "Your were an old man already Hane, its no so bad seeing him as your son, don't need to make up excuses to me... We all can see it... And okay Art can be an handful sometimes, but Sky is much more calm, even you have to admit that..." Giving Hane an smile, Tenshi shook her head slightly before resting her head on his shoulder once more. "Besides, if you need help with them, I'm available, I know how to handle kids... Not that you really need it, I've seen how you've looked after Art, and your a natural at it." She wasn't about to mention how adorable he looked with a child though, and how scared he could act sometimes. But Tenshi dropped her head at his next words, following his gaze to the light, before sighing and bringing him into a hug, knowing she would get away with it like normal. "You have already repaid that debt a thousand times over Hane... I don't want you trying to repay it anymore, because you don't need to. I just want you to be Hane, the short, grumpy old man who denies he has a son and puts a façade of not having friends, when he does..."
