Things escalated quickly, and Hane was like a skittish kitten when things got going. His head darting from checking the others were safe, to jumping towards different corridor entrances when he saw shadows, only to miss them. He was being toyed with, and hated every second of it. Listening to the scream, Hane gritted his teeth, managing to slice one shadow as it passed him. The thing made an un-natural squealing noise, before returning into the dark to heal. Huffing, Hane hopped back towards the others when Makeru recommended staying together. Hane nodded to the Queen. "We should continue and fight them off as we go, if Makeru could lead-" But then the person in question was shoved away, smashed against a wall by one of the sins. Hane tried to go to help, but another shadow caught between the two. It was the sin Hane had sliced, although now fully healed and ready to fight. Growling, Hane held his sword ready, slicing off wrath's hands as the sin kept regenerating, going to attack at Hane's less defended spots. Hane was good on recovery, and the shadow couldn't hit him. But it was keeping him eternally busy, which meant the Guard was completely occupied, and unable to help the others whilst this fight of stamina went raging on between him and wrath.

Itami smiled as she strolled through the corridors, just out of range of the guests. Laughing as Chester screamed for them to escape, Itami would not allow that to happen, not until she got a message across. Turning around as she felt Envy nearby, Itami smiled even more so when hearing exactly who was here, it was absolute perfection, things couldn't have worked better in her favour. "Thank you Envy, find Pride and tell him to get Makeru to me as soon as he can, I am heading back over to the room Chester is in. And then you may have your fun, go after the guard, he can kill, whereas the queen cannot..." Cackling as her sin left, Itami could feel her sins regenerating as she walked, it seemed they were fighting back just as tough. But she did not care, they wouldn't reach her or Chester, not unless accompanied by a sin of hers... Now to make sure Chester was perfectly set up for Makeru...

Tenshi wouldn't lie when she says she didn't jump as Makeru was knocked into the wall. They should have been more prepared, Tenshi knew that the sins could regenerate as long as the host was well and in control, so they couldn't do much more until they found Itami, sending blasts of light magic, in a hope to hold off the regeneration, Tenshi gave a look towards Hane, "Im going after Makeru, shout if you need the back up... Focus on blocking, they do more damage to you, then you will do to them..." Giving off a quick nod, Tenshi was quick to go and help Makeru, attempting to follow him. It wasn't long until Tenshi came across yet another sin, Lust. Though not as powerful as the others, she had a way to torment the victim and get into their head... Being weak, but the only one able to speak out of her own accord to others then just Itami. "Poor little majesty, trying to make up for her little mistakes... You and Mo caused all this, banishing Angels and Demons... Pathetic way to make them pay for their crimes..." Tenshi could see the glint in the sins eyes, glowing orbs staring right into her soul. Sending a orb of light towards the sin, Tenshi watched as she disappeared for the second before returning in the same spot. "Tell me your majesty, do you expect to win a fight, when all you can do is paralyze? Hmm?" "No, but what do you expect from me when your host is a coward and refuses to fight fairly..."

Makeru winced as the sin fought back all of the ex-Angels attempts, punching him across the face as he was continuously dragged around. They stopped for a moment, as one sin passed pride to tell him something, before the sin seemed to make a giggling sound. Makeru frowned, but took the opportunity to send a lightening pulse as the shadow's arm. It dissolved long enough for Makeru to get up and jump back, but pride wasn't about quit. "You're so weak, little Angel, or whatever you call yourself now. Why do you hold onto your stubborn independence, and refuse to realise how weak you are? Things would be easier if you gave in, realised that you'd never be as strong as other Angels... or your sister." Makeru shot a bolt of lightening, only for the sin to dodge, turn into a shadow mist and wrap itself around Makeru. Like breathing in toxic fumes, the sin infiltrated Makeru's mind and bodily system, drugging him with its dark magic. "Give into pride, give into the Outlaws, you know they're were you belong... just think of how appreciated you could be if you join Itami." Makeru shook his head, but came to realise how useless it was now. Like it or not, pride was controlling his movements, forcing the ex-Angel to walk down a thinner corridor, until he was forced into a room, made to be face to face with Itami.

Hane felt as if he should have prepared more for enemies like this. Being up in Shiro, sure Hane had centuries of experience fighting his students, but fighting real battles with dark monsters was a rarity. Still, this enemy didn't seem all too tough, it relied on constantly trying to attack in all places, rather than protect itself. But Hane was beginning to realise why the sin didn't need to worry about defence. As strong as Hane's slashes were, the creature kept getting up. Gritting his teeth, Hane noticed Tenshi leaving, fighting a sin of her own. Before he could try to follow, another sin jumped into the fight, one better at dodging that wrath was. Hane couldn't even tell if envy could regenerate, because he couldn't land a hit in. Being pushed back into a room, Hane was left to battle it out with the two souls. His only thoughts were supposed to be on the battle, but he also dreaded to consider how the tables might turn if Tenshi was forced to wander too far. Her holy aura that kept Hane alive only travelled so far, and being mortal in a tense battle like this wasn't something Hane wanted to deal with. The small Angel was still nimble enough to avoid attacks, and stored his magic energy into each slice, noting how it took longer for the sins to regenerate with light magic-infused strikes. He would have to finish up soon, perhaps be forced to use his light-speed magic to get the job done as soon as he could, because as far as Hane was concerned, his fight was easy compared to that of her majesties and Makeru's.

Itami walked into the room, quickly disposing of her sin Greed for the time being, allowing her other sins to gain a little more power. Smiling over to Chester, Itami made sure the girl was on her hands and knees, wounds exposed and pain written on her face. Assuring that she couldn't speak, a tight cloth gagged around her mouth, Itami waited for Makeru to arrive, it really was fitting that he was to come here, it made things so easy for Itami. Sitting upon a chair next to Chester, Itami didn't even move as Makeru was pushed into the room. "Guard the entrance Pride. I wish to speak with my guest alone..." Taking a small glance towards Chester, Itami smirked. "Well, mostly alone." Standing from her seat, Itami offered the space to Makeru, gesturing with a simple wave of her hand, making sure to keep Chester in range for any sudden movements, and to make sure the traitor didn't try anything drastic, even in her state. "Hello there Makeru... We have much to discuss... Well about a certain prize you are hiding from me... I have a message for him, though it is a little obvious what the message is about..."

Tenshi watched as the sin laughed and got up to circle around her. It would be pointless for her to harm the sin, especially one so weak, only using words as her weapon, but that didn't mean Tenshi didn't remain cautious, or fall into the trap of scaring her out of Hane's distance. "Miss Itami is no coward, she is but a goddess given to us, allowing us to go after the things we desire the most..." Tenshi was about to reply, but a sudden hand on her throat and lips on her ear made the queen speechless. "You know there are many things I desire your majesty, power being one of them... Another is to see your blood drip on this floor, coating the ground with a most magnificent colour..." Tenshi felt the hand and lips move away, before she summoned a ball of light and held it up to the sin. "Well that desire will not be met. You are nothing but a sin, and a sin is never to get what they want, and when they do they are punished for it... So tell me, by fulfilling that desire, what must you lose in return?" Slowing backing away, back in the direction of Hane, hearing the fight rage on behind her, Tenshi knew she would have to help him before finding Makeru. Not waiting for the reply, Tenshi let the ball of light loose, filling the corridor with a blinding flash, and watching as the sin disintegrated, she would not be down for long though. Turning, Tenshi made way to give back up in the more troublesome fight, hoping Hane was alright.

Makeru put his arms up as soon as he was freed from the sin's control, glaring over towards Itami. Hers was a face he never wanted to see again, the woman who treated him no more than a simple prize to add to her collection. Mak, like all Outlaws, were treated like pawns in her game, and if only the others saw it like Makeru did. The ex-Angel glanced down to Chester, and then held her in a stare. Her state was worse than Makeru had thought. He knew Itami was pure evil, but to provide torture like this was something else. Swallowing hard, Makeru tried to give her a slight, reassuring smile, still under the impression that he and others could still do something to help. Refusing to move, Makeru stayed close to the door, feeling the dark aura of pride close to his back, guarding the door to make sure nothing could enter or exit. Glaring at Itami, Makeru huffed. "Ain't got nothin' to discuss with you, missy. And I don't think I'll be takin' a message to him, more like his friend there instead, once I've got the little miss out of here." Makeru spat back. He heart felt like it was trying to jump into his throat, and Makeru almost couldn't move from the fear of his semi-threat. But as much as he didn't even believe his own resolve to try and help poor Chester in this situation, he knew he couldn't just leave with tail between his legs like some scared pup. Taking a deep breath, Makeru took fighting stance, gathering lightening around his hands. "I ain't you pet anymore Itami, I'm free to make my own choices, even if I have to die here to prove 'em to you."

As he'd predicted, Hane was fighting a battle of stamina here. Every attack he blocked withered away his strength, and every time he cut down the sins, they took a little longer to regenerate. It wasn't much, and in a battle like this, either side tied on lasting the longest. Panting a little, Hane managed to slip up on one attack, letting the wriggly envy got around his back and tripped the Angel up. Falling on his back, Hane had to use his blade to block wrath from ripping down his front, locking the sin's blade like arm to his sword. Struggling, Hane managed to push the sin off before envy as able to gang up on him as well, but the entire process had left Hane out of sync when each shadow attacked. Finding no other option, Hane split his long blade into two smaller ones, able to attack the sins much easier. However, his new speed was made by sacrificing all defence, and as Hane tired he could see a downfall to the new plan. Wrath managed to slice down Hane's back, to which the Angel easily ignored. Having dealt with his mortal wounds earlier without even battering an eyelash, this was nothing. But it still broke down Hane's advantage in his one versus two battle. Feeling no other option, Hane made a cut down each sin, before heading for the door, racing out down the corridors to hopeful regain his will to fight. He heard her majesties fight not too far away, and felt energy return to him. Even though they had always remained close enough for Hane to remain immortal, it was almost factual that Hane was stronger the close to the Queen's aura he was. And so, dodging a wild diving strike by wrath, Hane headed down closer to Tenshi, hoping she was coping with her battle, since the Guard didn't know if he could handle another sin.

Itami expected such a reaction from Makeru, she had known since he first joined that he wasn't a fan of what they were planning, hence another reason for keeping Chester close by. Grabbing hold of the girls hair, Itami lifted Chester up to the point in which Itami could easily hold a sharp claw to the girls throat. "I don't know about you dying, as I need you to relay a message... But dear Chester here isn't really needed, either way my prize will come..." Smirking towards Makeru, Itami made sure to keep the claw close to Chester's throat, drawing a small bit of blood. "Now then, this message of mine... Akvan has two days to get here, or the traitor here dies, and don't think I wont do it... I have other methods to fish Akvan out if he doesn't turn up... I do control death now..." Itami loved her new power, it gave her delicious ways to torture ones mind and heart, and gave a great way to use people for her own gain. "So pet, are you going to co-operate or not? My sins will eventually take out your friends, and the reason you are here will die right in front of you if you refuse... I can stop that, all you have to do is leave and give him the message..."

Tenshi was quick to throw herself into the fight, sending an orb of light towards Envy as he reappeared. Taking a quick glance towards Hane, Tenshi kept in mind to heal him as soon as she could, nodding slightly towards the guard, Tenshi knew the only way to get rid of the sins was to end the host, being Itami, and considering Makeru was the only one who would be able to work out where she was, the two were out of luck. "I have Envy, you take care of Wrath..." Paying full attention towards Envy, Tenshi made sure to have an orb ready for when the sin regenerated. Getting a few knocks into herself, including a cut cheek and a nasty slice down her arm, Tenshi was keeping up well considering. Keeping a close eye on Hane though, as to make sure he was doing okay with such an injury, as she had yet to be able to heal it. "Do you think Makeru will find Itami? Because I don't know how long we can keep this up, unless I use a large dose of my power, and that will only buy a little amount of time, but a long exhausted me..."

Mak's small thread of hope in winning was extinguished as quickly as it had appeared. Gritting his teeth, Makeru knew he couldn't continue to act rash as Itami held Chester's life in her hands, he wouldn't be able to face any of the others. Thinking about how worse a message it would be to Akvan telling him Chester was dead, Makeru let his hands fall down, magic diminishing. Makeru gave Chester a sorry look, before returning to his post as one of Itami's pets. A loyal dog, although remaining reluctant to his very soul. Mak's hands quivered, before he eventually nodded his head. "Fine, I'll make sure he gets the message, and bring him 'ere in less than a couple of days. Make your sins disappear, and I'll get the other two to leave." Makeru wanted to say more. He wanted to say how much of a wicked bitch Itami was, that the Angel race would never turn to dust from her little plans, they'd come out fighting to the end. He wanted to say that the only person doomed to death was her, but in his heart, all Makeru could face was doubt. He feared the very existence of a future, what kind of awful world was he planning on helping to build by letting Itami have her way right now. All was set in stone now, because the life of one simple Human hung in the balance. Perhaps in the end, the apocalyptic end to Angels and Demons would one day come to be, and the ones to blame would be the beings they swore their lives to govern and protect. Makeru hated the irony. Just as much as he hated ever coming here. What hope he might have contained when leading the others to the base, thinking that perhaps he could be a hero or finally deserve praise. But no, in reality all Mak was really good for was acting as messenger. Sighing, Makeru glared at pride as the sin disappeared by Itami's control, heading out towards where he'd left the others to find them. Looking at them with a pale and glum expression, as the two were now free from combat, Makeru shook his head. "No good, Itami has the little miss we were lookin' for, and will kill her if we don't leave... come on, I'll lead you out, then you two best be on your way back to Aura."

Hane was swift as he dashed to stand back to back with Tenshi. For now, he had to ignore her injuries, as much as his mind was screaming at him. Wrath was still relentless, but now Hane felt energised enough to handle the wild sin. Cutting the shadow into three clean parts, Hane took a moment to breath and consider what her majesty asked. "I think she wants to find him, so no doubt he's on his way, if not there already." Hane was a little worried for Makeru. He wasn't a great fighter, since he never trained for combat other than self-defence and running away, being an Outlaw. So Itami could easily kill him. But Tenshi would be able to sense if Mak was killed, which by the sounds of it wasn't true. "I am saving my magic for keeping the fight going, wasting a massive amount is pointless in a battle of stamina like this." Hane replied, stabbing on the regenerating wrath. Something strange was happening, the sin was regenerating at a very slow rate. Perhaps, as Hane looked closer, it wasn't healing at all. Finally, the sin simply dissolved into the floor, and Hane looked to Tenshi to see if her sins were doing the same. Before he could say anything, Makeru came out from a corridor, greeting the pair with a concerning look. Hane soon discovered why. "That despicable Demon..." Hane muttered, before lowering his blades. He didn't like leaving empty handed, especially after the spark of having one of Kaku's friends safe and rescued was around the Guard earlier, but Hane knew there wasn't anything they could do about it. "Her defence will let up one day, and we'll get another opportunity to help the girl..." Hane said, staring down the corridor as they left. He hated to return to Kakushin with nothing but bad news, but this wasn't their only and last opportunity, so Hane wasn't quite ready to give up yet. Hane glanced up to Tenshi as they walked back into the forest. "Makeru is right, we should return to Aura to heal, after that... my errand isn't done yet."
